Hello folks am running on bln-l22c675b320 with twrp nd rooted
Now I hv got a update bln-l22c675b330
My question is if I update will I lose my root capabilities and twrp !????
If yes is there any way to do it without losing root
I hv downloaded the update file on mobile how to do further without losing twrp
Pls help folks thanks in advance ?

did you flash twrp as erecovery or recovery??
flash twrp as erecovery and flash stock recovery
only extract update.app from update package and restart device holding volume up ,down & power button
after update successful restart it in erecovery and flash root zip

If you have a custom recovery (TWRP) and root, you may incur in some problems as bootloop, so I suggest you to take a backup of your file and unroot and install the stock recovery (if you want update)

I have the stock recovery , i used fastboot boot TWRP to root and that's about it. still a risk ?

Then you need a full Wipe, update and root again

I received update from Huawei updates (size 2.23 GB)
but after download then install show message
"Software install failed!
the update package does not exist
please download the package again "
i tried format data and install by dload method but doesn't work
and i tried download update more than once but same problem
note: I was unlock bootloader and install root but now i deleted root and lock bootloader by SKRtool , Is this relationship?

Yes install again without root and Trwp.
Complete Stock.Then the Ota Update.
Later you can install Twrp and root on Nougat

No Problem,root is not complete delete in your situation and this is the Problem with failed Ota,with installing the original Firmware and Factory Reset is root complete delete and the Ota is working.

Hello y'all, i issued a problem tomorrow by rooting BLN-L21C432, i unlocked bootloader with no problem, when was time for flashing recovery, i flashed the boot into the recovery and issued a problem in the dev options and security. Cuz of that, i can't access to adb, hisuite hdb to backup, and can't install extern apps without autorizations.
I tried all night long to resolve but no way, add to that the fact i've got a very very low connexion so 3-4h to load an update.zip.
So i downloaded b370, no way i can't use the dload method, fail at 5%. Same issue with b369. Tried to flash manually system boot and recovery by extracting update.app, no result, it's same. Tried to Unbrick via multi-tool, i use it on honor 7, but there's no cust image in update.app.
Build number is normal, C432B365.
I don't know what to do now, it's 10 hours i'm losing my minds with that phone. Please heeeelp :crying:
From which firmware ? Is it good if i flash boot and recovery from B360 ?
Edit : Actually the phone is in B365, it would be better if i try to dload from it right ?
I read that unlocked bootloader could block an update, is that true ?

Update manager download the update but it fails to update in twrp recovery.
Please suggest. I don't want to lose data.

You have to remove majisk
Relock boot
Then you will receive official update
Then unlock and reinstall majisk

There is no need to relock.
I didnt whe 110 came out and it still updated... rooted with Magisk as well

Check the ROMs/Kernels/Recoveries section, there's a modified stock recovery that allows for updating w/o relocking the Bootloader.*
Once complete, put TWRP back & root, you will not lose any data/apps/etc...... as you would by simply relocking your Bootloader....

I have the BKL-L04 model & got an update notice earlier today:
While on stock rooted with TWRP & Magisk,the update downloaded & attempted to install,but,it failed.
So,just flash the stock recovery for your model & take the update w/o relocking your bootloader.
You will not lose any data from switching recoveries,at least on this phone.
(If you want to unroot 1st,that's fine,but,not necessary,flashing the modified stock recovery image unroots your phone anyway.)
After taking the update,flash the TWRP & Magisk (& Magisk Manager App,if it disappeared) as you did previously.
Just posting what worked for me,& in no way are my experiences/usage intended to contradict posts/suggestions from others,especially if they have the exact same model of phone as yours.

Just install stock ram disk...
It would automatically remove twrp and root.. And u will b able to install update once updated just reflash twrp ram disk and install magisk zip to get root back..

No not at all... Ramdisk is a different partation
I had rooted phone with magisk installed, I received 2 updates like that - automatically lost root privileges, but I didn't receive .161 update (EIS update still not available for me?) any way to get this update?
PS my bootloader is unlocked... do I need lock it to get an update? and how to lock it?
