Hi guys i am abhishek and i really need the custom rom for lyf flame 8. So i was able to upgrade my name phone ? to marshmallow... Pls help me.. ☺☺☺ pls guys...

Ok I am the user of the actual lyf flame 8 mobile and I want to know that how did you get the Marshmallow update for your phone because there is a another phone called lyf F8 and it got the Marshmallow not the one with names flame 8

Really brother desperation to get a single custom ROM for this phone because this phone is completely unsupported by the company and we are not able to find the proper kernel sources to develop any custom rom and you have given a light of hope so it is very proud moment for us and we'll definitely support you for the development

Download twrp and rooted boot.img for lyf flame 8
Hi i am Ebin shaji
in case of lyf flame 8 it is of two types
1) LS-4505-S22A (IPS DISPLAY)
2)LS-4505 S16A
Go to your settings and check the built number tho check which device you own
IMPORTANT
THIS POST IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LYF FLAME 8 (S22A) THAT IS WITH IPS DISPLAY DEVICES AND NOT FOR THOSE WHO OWN LS-4505 S16A
SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU ALREADY ROOTED YOUR DEVICE
step 1
Download stock rom for your device from repairmymobile.in
note that you need to download for lyf flame 8 S22A (IPS Display)
extract the rom files in to your pc
and replace boot.img and recovery.img in folder with newer ones given below
flash your mobile
done!
Step 2 (for rooted devices)
Download official twrp apk
install it into your device
run > go to flash recovery>
download recovery from the link given below
copy it in to your download directory
open twrp and flash recovery
done!
if you wand files pls send me a mail on: [email protected]

restart your phone in to recovery mode by pressing volume up+power you will find twrp there:good::good::good:

My phone is dead since 2 years. And I did not invest to replace it's motherboard.
If anyone of you could customize Android 6 Marshmallow for this or Oreo Android go, or Android 10 go for this device Lyf flame 8, could have been so much help.

They already did. You can try HAVOC OS 2.2 . Its flawless. Faster than touchwiz. Pure android pie 9.0 experience.

I know that bro. But this rom can be installed in J710FX "J7(2016)" too. Im currently using j7 2016 with this rom. Not a single problem. Working flawlessly. You just need to flash the latest oxygen kernel right after flashing the rom for it to work in J7 2016. If there is camera or wifi problem for you, i have the required files. Flash them to fix it.

It is freaking hard to find any good ROMS for this device... There is no AEX nor LOS.

Yeah bro. I am using j7 2016 j710fn with it. No problem. You just need to flash camera fix and wifi fix. And make sure to flash latest oxygen kernel right after you flash the rom. Before first boot

One last question... If a rom states that:

Does this mean it is supported on my device J7 2016 SM-J710FN?

I have a 710mn and I accidentally deleted my OS...tried to flash a diff ROM and kernel....now after boot screen it just stays balck screen...but also says kernel not seandroid enforcing when it boots...but I can still boot to DL and TWRP. ....any advice

I have find only one "AxvY Rom [Nougat 7.0] can support SM-J7108" in xda, flashed & used until now, but can't find another rom to choice & upgrade!
Samsung J7 (2016) have most version, e.g: J7108, J710F, J710FN, J710M, J710GN...
Some was Exynos 7870, some was 1280 x 720p, ""Only J7108 was Exynos 7580 & 1920 x 1080p"", I have try to flash some another J7 custom rom, most of them can't flash with TWRP, a few can flash successful, but after boot, only part screen display, because the rom was 1280 x 720p !!
I also try many TWRP, but only "TWRP-3.1.1-2-J7108.tar/img" work!

Search a custom rom for (A7 2016 or Galaxy On8) both has the same specs but the A7 device has fingerprint the On8 almost have the same as Smj7108. then i tried to port the A7lineageOs on Smj7108 and flash the rom and booted up but the problem the touchscreen wont work flashing the twrp for A7 works too but touch wont work either but Galaxy On8 unofficial twrp works on Smj7108 i tried flashing the galaxy on8 rom to my smj7108 it works without a problem..
I like the twrp on galaxy on8 cuz it can flash system img..

I have wipe everything & reflash the last stock rom (J7108 - 6.0.1 (Marshmallow)) with Odin, flash TWRP: "twrp_3.1.0-1_sm-j710fn_29417", then flash rom "Nougat_Rom-V1.2-mdmaher.zip", but failed & show "This ROM only supports J700F-H-M/J710FN/A510F variant" ! I have try many times, but also failed, Why??

Cuz it needs to change updater script for the supported one
