There is actually no free version on google play and the free app is only for XDA users. i couldn't attach the apk in the thread as it said the apk is too large to be uploaded to XDA.

The application has small problems of internationalization - some screens are always in English, some are translated, and some are a strange mixture.

In case you want to buy full version, then its required, so that app remembers your account & when you want to reinstall full version it will know it was you. this is generally remembered b google itself but free version is not uploaded on playstore and being offered to only XDA users. hope this clears your concern

Thanks. I've installed It. All seems ok until select SET WALLPAPER and nothing take place. The live wallpaper doesn't set on. . Anyway thank you.

Updated mine today, this fixed the pause when the screen would go to sleep. Now the rest of the album continues to the end, no more having to push the power button after each song.

Thanks, doesnt seem to be any different at all on my TF - only the scrolling of the main screen is too sensitive now - no store or other changes visible

Yes to exclude all my backups. Maybe choose excluded folders. E.g.....app manager.
Only being fussy .am happy as it is.

Wanted everyone to know that my virus scanner (Lookout) is reporting this as riskware.
Riskware, for those that don't know is software that is legitimate but it has the potential for misuse by ciber criminals through security holes in the app.

Thanks for that link to virustotal, never heard of it before.
Lookout is classifying the app as riskware as it can not determine the authorship of the app.

you don't really have to worry. as android has yet to have virus, there are still security loopholes that cyber crime can use to exploits a phone. it could be a simple leak through bluetooth, wifi or even a simple datamining. i still install it, but sometime, it there. not much we can do about it, unless you use your phones for everything usage.

yeah, i agree. it's frustrating for me that i can't remember things. maybe when you're near 70 you'll have perfect memory, i don't.

You are not alone. I started having the same problem (occasionally) since the latest system update (December 5, 2019). Plus apps no longer auto-update (never), even when I am on Wi-Fi. None of that was an issue prior to mentioned update.
For weather not showing I suspect app gets "power-optimized".
For app auto-update not working - there are multiple reports for that over the past year for Pixel and other phones with no clear solution. I tried clearing Storage and Cache for Google Play Services but it didn't help.

just checking that you have given google app location permission and location is on.
another thing is i'm also using nova launcher in a very minimal way but that might have something to do with it.
i discovered by searching that it's a pretty common issue. but if it's something you want and you can have it by using a different launcher try out a different launcher for a week, maybe. good luck in finding a solution.

I found the solution. I'm on basic phone launcher ( no launcher installed or rooting done).
Just enable location on and go to your Google account and turn location history on.
Then restart with location turned on.
It's there now.
Found sort of a solution
It isn't the best solution, but it works (at least for me it does). I found that if I put another at a glace widget on another screen (so there are 2 now, one on my home screen, one on another), it works and shows weather on both. If I remove it, the weather goes away again.. Hoping this is some sort of clue to get this fixed permanently.
