I've read a few leaks about the Honor 7x, it's rumoured to be launched on October, and I couldn't find any specs, but I don't expect any big improvements.
This is still the best phone for € / $200 and the 7x the will be around € / $269.00 .
So in my opinion it's not worth to wait, just save some cash.

If he save some more bucks he can afford honor 8 .
Well, if he waits and do look for deals, he can grab an honor 8 for 250$, and the only thing I know about the 6x succesor is that it will be called 7x

That's even better

The hell, why you put Honor 8 and Oneplus 3T with S7 Edge ? If you want performance and good gpu, i would say Oneplus 3T, if you want design, Honor 8. If you want to look rich but have no ideea how good are other smartphones that cost half the price of an S7 Edge, go get it. I would buy a Oneplus 3T too,but i'm not going to way 2 month until they deliver it and i'm not going to pay 500+ euros in other stores for a 64gb Oneplus 3T. Tomorrow i'm going to get the Honor 8,it's more than enough for me and i consider myself a person who really want something good from a smartphone. It's your choice.

Start was clear. But by the ending I'm confused. Hope the questioner has got his answer.
From my point of view,
1. To show off your money - Go for S7 Edge
2. To show off a good color get the good camera - Go for Honor 8
3. To get the good performance - Go for OP3T.
I have seen that OP3T lags during some of the games which is unexpected. Hope so OTA fixes it soon.

If you want some good development, OP3T is the best choice. But if you are not for rooting and custom ROMs, you can decide that for yourself.
i can recomended u to use S7 really . i dont like samsung but i really tried it 2 days ago and i like it . tomorrow i can confirm if honor 8 better or not cause honor 8 will arrive tomorrow evening ! .

After seeing the initial dev scene over here for 6X. Yes, it can be worth. I don't hold any 6X now.

It doesn't happen like Honor 5X.
For Honor 4X, we got 2 incremental updates Kitkat -> Lollipop -> MM
So we can expect the same for Honor 6X too.
And with our Lineage Devs over here, we can expect further more updates.

emui5 is a sure thing, but what about custom rom development?? kernel sources are very important for that

There was similar concerns over Honor 8 at the beginning, then later it gets CM, which is still buggy at this stage, but the progress is moving forward.
3G+32GB should be enough for most ppl daily use.

Then you better off with a Nexus 6P... I see them within the similar price range and of course you can count on Google to bring you Android N, O, P, Q, R...

Nexus 6p may be a good recommendation but its usually still double the price of a Honor 6x. At least here.
I am currently holding back on making a 6x purchase as I rather a 64gb black front model which are not yet available here. But it seems there has been some progress with LineageOS. Fingers crossed!

Understand, an used 6P is about same price as a new 6X here in China.
If you are not hurry, maybe just wait for LineageOS to be mature. Otherwise, Honor 5X is another good option.
The only bad thing I discovered was 3dmark results, about 370, sooooo loooooow and sloooooooooow

I'd get Honor 9 as it has some nice improvements. Without double-touch to wake, Honor 8 with its rear-facing fingerprint sensor can be a bit cumbersome to unlock when laying flat on a desk. Other than that, the improvements to camera and audio present in H9 are welcome. Now having said that, I'd wait for the real-life reviews to see how performance and and batery-life of Honor 9 compares to H8 plus note that H9 will be much more expensive for a while, especially if you can find a good deal on H8, which is still an awesome phone.
No one knows the price of honor 9 outside China, and if someone have the honor 8, its not a worthy upgrade

On paper, battery and performance should be better on the Honor 9. I just hoped that Honor will have a program where you can give in your Honor 8 or any other phone and receive a better one with less the price.

Samsung recently had that program. You can give in any smartphone you have in exchange of a S8 with less price.

How can you advice some to go for the Honor 9, have you personal tested or used the H9?
Just because these a new model of a previous device doesn't make it a better device.
Now as another member said to the Op if they can wait and have the budget for the H9 then yes Go for H9, but if budget kinda tight the H8 is a good device and may even be able to pick one up for well under 300 green backs.. It all boils down to do you need the new features of the H9?

For me, that's right. There are little differences between the two. It's just that Honor 9 is "newer".

Guys, as time reaching near who all are excited for V10 ? I may end up buying it actually.

You are wrong, the V10 is the successor to the V9 (H8 Pro).
H9 remains their current year flagship. @FlyingMachete the future looks bright, oreo with treble is incomming which will most likely solve alot of problems for us devs.

I have, and never looked back. Loved my Mate 9 but I must admit love my Honor view 10 a lot more for many reasons.

Camera will be better in some ways, but because of lack of OIS video won't be that good. Lowlight will be worse too.
If i was you i should wait longer because the mate 9 is still a pretty good device in 2018.
