[Q] Remap virtual botton on screen? (navigation bar) - General Questions and Answers

Hi!
is there any way to remap the functions of the virtual botton on screen? Like the back button, to assign the kill app function. I think it have a similiar method of remap, like the hardware buttons, inserting new function for a button in the file Generic.kl . I found a file it's named Virtual.kcm, is this the file of virtual button?
Thanks in advance! ☺

There are several apps in the PlayStore for remapping buttons.
If you're rooted, you can also try the Xposed Framework, it has modules for remapping/adding features to buttons.

[REQ] Homescreen reload app

Hello.
I have a request for a skilled developer.
I want a simple app, which forces to reload the TouchWiz panels.
I am using some older widgets, which sometimes doesn't simply load at startup,so I want to restart the homescreen as an another attempt.
I must everytime to remove the widget from panel and put it again in case it will work after startup, what is annoying.
Can please someone do it for me,or recommend me some similar solution please?
Just empty the RAM in the Task Manager App, the Homescreen will build up again after that.
Just be sure to not exclude the launcher from the task to kill

Remapping Menu and home button?

I am trying to remap the menu button to pull up the recent app and long press from menu. Then have long press of the home button pull up Google now. I am able to easily do this with CM, but I want to have this feature and run AOKP.
Did some searching on this. I know you can got to the file in system/usr/keylayout/sec_touchkey.kl and edit the remapping of the keys. The closest I could get was changing key 139 to "App_switch" but this brings up the old gingerbread app switcher and not the multi task menu.
If someone could lead me in the right direction that would be great.
Good question. I sign looking for a way to program my back button to long press=kill.

Would you consider changing ROMs? RootzBOX has the options you are seeking. It also has all of the AOKP features as that is its base.

I need to figure this out as well. This is ridiculous, I want my lock screen actually locked, with ONE screen.. not swipe to the right for camera, and left to add a widget...
someone, anyone, please help.

The app is lock screen policy. But I was hoping for a different solution. However, the app does work fine. Found it about an hour ago

Screen Sensitivity (Use a pencil as a stylus)

Hi guys, in the old S5 you could enable "glove mode" to improve touchscreen sensitivity, with this option enabled you could use a simple pencil as a stylus.
I know it's enabled by default in the S6 (even without an option in settings) but it's not as the S5 was (no pencil stylus here).
Is there a way to make this happen? (Build.prop editing maybe? Or some root stuff?)

Increased Touch Sensitivity can be enabled/disabled in the Display and Wallpaper settings.
