SM-G920FD Boot Loop with "No command" error. - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I have a Samsung G920FD mobile phone. It's a few days now that I have the problem of Boot Loop and displaying the phrase "No command". I searched a lot over these days and tried different solutions. But I did not get any results.
I installed many ROM types by odin and twrp, but I did not get any results.
When I install the new ROM using Odin, after the restart, the message "Install System Update" appears, and it progresses to 32%. But then the Erasing message appears and the system will reset, and from then on, enter the Boot Loop phase.
In addition, these terms are written in Download mode:
SYSTEM STATUS: CUSTOM
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
Secure Download: Enabled
Please guide me to solve this problem! Thanks

Just root it via CF-Auto Root.
It will fix this issue.

Did you wipe data/factory reset after flashing?

I did before any flashing.
But after the flash, it immediately restarts and the update installation process begins.
So, if unchecked the auto-boot option, then I need to restart manually.
There is no way to shutdown in download mode so that you can enter recovery mode.
Therefore, I can enter the recovery mode only after the first restart
An important point. My phone has been in the hands of a friend for a while. After that, the problem occurred and I did not know the latest version of the ROM installed on it.
Why always happen at 32%?

"no command" error
installing android 7.0 but everytime it auto enter in recovery mode with "no command" error even that i can't enter into recovery mode no wipe cache option / data factory restore and looping itself

Boot loop s7 G930F after twrp installation

Hi guys, not sure if I'm in the right thread (please move me if not admins)
I was running superman on my s7, I decided to clean out my phone by flashing stock firmware and then reflash a custom rom.
The stock flash went well as expected, checked oem unlock and USB debugging then I flashed twrp 3.1.1
My phone was then stuck on the 3 logo (I flashed h3g csc while stock flashing) for 15 minutes
So out of lack of patience, I rebooted my phone, now it's stuck on a boot loop splashing the Samsung boot image then resetting with a vibrate and this is constant.
I managed to open twrp on the phone and thought a wipe might be in order, did that and FAILED, without me rebooting it rebooted itself.
Then I tried to reflash stock firmware in Odin, again that failed.
Still stuck in a boot loop.
I know I've screwed up but any advice would be grand.
Thanks guys :good:
right, fixed the issue.
went into twrp, wiped the system by typing 'yes'
wipe dalvik, data and system.
rebooted into download via twrp and flashed stock rom again
works fine
all because i didn't uncheck auto reboot in odin when flashing twrp..... D'oh! :silly:
i iz idiot

I am somewhat confused with your writing, or you write the wrong information.
1. Wiped system in twrp as long as I know do not need to write "yes".
2. Twrp is not download mode, it is recovery mode
#Btw, this should not be in this section
Best regards,
Quick one for you, if you ever can't get to twrp after bootlooping. Press and hold power+home+vol up. Let phone reboot but keep holding buttons till it reboots a second time and then you will get download mode.
tHIS IS RIGHT SECTION FOR QUESTIONS AND DIALOGUES ABOUT s7, so proceed pls.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 LTE GT-S7275R bootloop, twrp errors

Hi everyone!
I want to ask for help.
Long story short:
Twrp 3.0.2 as custom recovery
Issue: - Takes 5 minutes to boot into recovery,
- Resets itself every time booting into it
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset not working at all
I've tried File system change, repair system file, change system file but none of these are working either. All of this ends with the same error messages:
Failed to mount '/data' (invalid argument)
Failed to mount '/cache' (invalid argument)
Unable to mount storage
Unable to wipe Dalvik, Cache, Data, System
SO I PRETTY MUCH CAN'T DO ANYTHING
Tried installing new stock Rom via Odin, full Re-Partition with correct GT-S7275R PIT file, correct BOOTLOADER file, correct FIRMWARE for my region, correct MODEM file and correct CSC file. Everything is correct and legit. Odin flashes, message is PASS, phone reboots into recovery, same recovery, same reset on recovery, restarting my phone, galaxy ace 3 logo, and goes into bootloop.
Tried with Samsung Kies, entered my phone model and S/N number, correct firmware showed up, Kies installed it. Nothing changed still!!!
Tried legit stock recovery for my model, odin flashed it, PASS, phone reboots into the same TWRP recovery... like what the hell!!
Tried flashing CWM recovery, Odin okay, PASS, reboots again into TWRP....
I did not touch my phone, I just didn't use it since 2016, the phone drained and switched off, Since then I bought a new S7, I wanted to check on my Ace 3, so yesterday I've put my Ace 3 in charger, waited a few minutes, tried to boot it, and it got stuck on boot animation... since then, I tried literally everything to get it work.. EVEN WITH COMMANDS IN THE TWRP TERMINAL. NOTHING!!!
In 2016 the phone's status was:
Custom ROM:
cm-12.1-20151001-UNOFFICIAL-loganreltexx
Gapps micro:
tk_gapps-modular-micro-5.1.1-20150927-signed
TWRP:
twrp-2.8.6.0 (now 3.0.2)
BACK THEN, I was able to flash anything, install any .zip, wipe any data, reset my phone, boot normally.
Someone, who knows what the hell is going on, and how to fix it, please tell me.
Thanks.
Remember when you flash the stock firmware via Odin you have to factory reset the phone. It won't boot if you don't reset it.

If you flash the original firmware via Odin, you should have the original recovery as well.. maybe download the firmware from a different source.

Flashed original firmware from two sources, tried to install the third one in twrp via .zip.
Nothing changed.

recovery data from samsung devices that doesn't boot

Hello,
For whatever reason, my samsung s6 edge doesn't work now. Everything was fine until yesterday. The device stay stuck on Samsung logo. I can't reboot the device in safe mode, the "installing system update" tell me "no command", and from the boot menu (I guess it is), the Wipe Cache option not work either.
I don't mind to loose the phone, I juste want to get back my photos / video , contacts and agenda (sync on the phone, not with a google account)
I'm an Android Developer, and I've tried to use ADB on first step but the device can't boot on Android so...
Do you know a program or something to help me troughout this ?
Many thanks
Louis

The "installing system update" and "no command" are associated to stock recovery, and the screen that shows the "Wipe Cache" option IS stock recovery, not a "boot menu". How can you say that you are an Android Developer if you don't know what android stock recovery is or looks like?
Your OS has become corrupted for whatever reason, you'll have to boot into download mode and flash the stock firmware via Samsung Smart Switch(smart switch also might help you recover your data) or flash stock firmware via Odin. If you use Odin to flash the device, make sure you flash the exact same version of firmware that you had on the device before this happened, as long as what you flash is not an upgraded or downgraded firmware, it shouldn't wipe your data when you flash it, the data "should" still be there.

Thanks for the answer. It's seems like Smart Switch no longer support "Software update and inisialization". So I should use Odin but I don't know with version of the firmaware I've use.

S8 (sm-g950f) wont boot, reset, wipe and is stuck

Hello,
My phone(Samsung galaxy s8) just had a crash and is stuck on the blue screen with "Installing update". After several seconds the screen goes away and boots straight into the recovery mode.
The log that i see in the recovery is :
Fail to open recovery_cause(No such file or directory)
Failed to mount /efs
Unknown volume for path /odm
dm-verity verification failed
I tried to install the stock firmware (I cant link to the webpage but im 100% sure its the correct one) but it wont boot and goes to the "Installing update" again and after that to the recovery.
I tried installing twrp but it wont install due a FRP lock. i read that you should wipe your data and factory reset. Also tried that but again no succes.
Can someone please help me.
Thanks in advance

I'm going to take a guess here, you had the device rooted and then you tried to apply an OTA stock update while the device was rooted? Tyically, stock OTA updates can't be applied to devices that have been rooted because the updates require the device to have an unmodified system partition(no root) and they require stock recovery instead of custom recovery. There are "some" devices that can apply stock updates while rooted, but those are few and far between.
If that is what you did, you need to do some searching for repairing failed OTA updates on rooted devices.
