Hello !
yesterday I got a key to enable Launcher Pro Plus. I've entered it in Launcher Pro settings, then app asked me to reset it, I pressed `ok` and I had after that still disabled LP Plus.
When I do not reset LP I can use LP Plus features.
What can be a reason of that losing LP Plus session ?
Thanks in advance for the replies !
That's just how it works. Save a backup with the key in, to get around this.

After you enter the key, back up the settings in the prefs menu and it will save to the sd card to restore at a later date.
So wy it suggests me to restart LP if it is obvious that key will be erased ?

If you have a valid key, the launcher will restart and then you will have a functioning LauncherProPlus instead of LauncherPro.
I personally paid for my key -- and it has only ever asked me for the key once (when I first activated it). I did do a backup of my desktops after I set them up though.
If you purchased the key from the developer, I would contact him.
If you're trying to use a posted key -- then obviously it has been blocked by the dev due to piracy.
Any reason the dev didn't just put the full version on the market? Long serials, kind of a nuisance, Google doesn't take that big a take (I'd imagine the 30% is offset by people who'd buy it but get turned off that it isn't a simple app purchase) and Google, I think, does offer better anti-piracy tools including phone-home stuff.
I'm not complaining, just curious.
Dear all,
I own a Lenovo A 10 70 tablet and I want to deactivate the klack sound when filling in the pin for decryption at start process.
Root for the tablet is given and I think I have to remove a sound file at /system/media but I dont know which one.
Does anyone has an idea?

I changed dpi value by Root DPI Changer in Acer Liquid Z530(T02) I accidentally set it to 100 (But it works for 200). It restarted later system UI is forced stopped. I can't access to anything even when I can receive a call but I can't even pick up. No caller screen is visible. I went to flash menu and select factory reset. So I think developer tools may be turned off. Therefore, usb debugging got off. Is there any possibility of getting it back to normal state.
I rooted my mobile by King Root.

Hello everyone!
I've just bought my 1+6 and I really don't want to lose it.
Is there a way for protecting the phone against theft? I mean, against a thief trying to flash the ROM.
I was thinking in installing Cerberus but it won't survive as a system app.
Is there some tutorial for making Cerberus beneath ROM ? Is there a way for preventing and blocking flash?
I know for example that Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro had the bootloader locked and the only way for flashing was by login in xiaomi site and unlock the bootloader.
What can we do for protecting OnePlus 6 ?
Thank you all!

It is encrypted to begin with and you cannot access any data without the password/pin/pattern, if you have either set. If you unlock bootloader, it will erase everything in the phone, including internal storage.
Recovery mode
I protected my phone with FTP (my phone was already assigned to my gmail account and encrypted) so I tried to test it what would happen if anyone steals me.
I entered the recovery mode and hit recover and then Forget Password and only by doing that I did a hard reset on my phone! How can I prevent this from happening ? It’s a big flaw that I can do this without password. I know that after this I must enter with the previous gmail account.. But still.. I’m sure there is a workaround.

just leave data and GPS on - you can always locate your phone, and wipe it remotely if needed.

The thing is, you can swipe down for notification bar and turn on airplane mode directly from lockscreen. GPS and location will not work afterward :silly:

silly google
should prevent people from turning ap mode on and disabling any settings set before screen lock - similar to how google pay needs you to unlock screen to use it, same thing should be set for the settings in the status bar,

Thanks for that heads up...
I've just removed mine with the editor so it doesn't show. That makes my access to airplane mode a couple of more steps but probably worth it.
I'm interested too in how to protect against theft, I just got mine stolen.
About the status bar, even if he cannot put airplane mode, he can still switch off the phone and take out the Sim card.
If you don't unlock the bootloader they cannot use the phone but it doesn't mean that you'll get it back.
If you install cerberus as a system app, you have to unlock the bootloader, isn't it possible to relock the bootloader after install cerberus and keep it as system app?

Hello,
Anyone can explain what does Default Power Status setting?
I can be set ON or OFF, tried both settings, and same result.
Thank you.
Anyone can clarify please?
Hello, never set OFF! Although the device should turn off completely every time and boot from the beginning after turning on, but it may happen that you do not turn on at all, then the only option is to restore to the original state, by updating the MCU using the dmcu.cfg file and if you have this backup of the factory settings he didn't, then you will have a big problem. Save factory settings/ EXPORT/ dmcu.cfg to external storage.
ON is set as standard from the factory, the selected sleep mode should work on the device and remember the time and saved radio stations.
Memory the status of last: if the device does not remember saving stations, or has a problem with sleep mode, try choosing this option.
If you don't have the dmcu.cfg file, then don't touch the factory settings, the worst thing is to change the customer version, each manufacturer has a different number and this determines a specific setting that, if changed, can completely change the control of the device.
Rule of thumb: if it works, I don't touch it.
