Phone camera previews shots at a low resolution but takes shots at a high resolution

Hello, I have a Huawei enjoy 6s that is running on the EMUI 4.1 ROM with android version 6.0 and kernel version 3.18.24.
I've noticed a problem with the camera since I bought the phone, which is that it previews shots in low resolution but takes shots in high resolution.
Preview photo:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
After photo:
The differences might not be very well represented in the photos above, but the preview photo (screenshot of the camera) is at a lower resolution, than the actual photo that was taken at full HD.
Snapchat photo:
Other apps like Snapchat also do the same thing, but instead of taking an HD photo, like the camera app did, it takes the low-resolution photo as seen in the preview.
I doubt that this is a hardware problem as the camera could clearly take photos at full HD resolution, but something to do with the system?
It would be great if someone knew something about this and could help me

Wide selfie on mi mix 2s?

Some days ago i saw that some samsung phones supported a "panoramic mode" for the selfie camera (so people did not get cut out).
I tried to find an app that supported this mode but to no avail.
Does anyone knows an app that has this feature?

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
if you see the video, it works by adding pictures while panning the phone to one side, which seems to be made at software level.

Post Your Best Shots from the Honor 20

Post Your Best Shots from the Honor 20
The Honor 20 has a pretty amazing 48MP camera on it. It has four cameras in total, including a wide shot camera, macro camera, standard camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. In this thread, post your best shots captured on the Honor 20. I'm particularly interested in seeing if anyone has been able to get good shots with the macro camera. So far every shot I've taken in super macro mode has been garbage.
I took his shot in pretty low-light conditions, with AI mode on.

Camera sucks at greenery / foliage pictures

Went on a hike in Brazil today and couldn't manage to take any decent photos the tree and other green stuff. It seems the contrast between the bright light and the dark green of the vegetation really screws with the AI, but even with the AI disabled, the pictures still looked like below. Is there a way take greenery photos closer to what the human eye would see, with the P30 Pro? Or is post-processing the only option for approaching realism?
With AI on:

}
Without AI:
I don't have a comparable shot with another phone, but here's a jungle pic shot with an iPhone XR. To me it looks a lot more vibrant and fresh.
