SVA Rom 9200 Chinese Version G9200ZCU2DQC1 - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
i have a Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G9200 with Stock G9200ZCU2DQC1 on it. I already unlocked Bootloader with original Samsung C Rom. I bought SVA Rom from Valerie and to install his Rom i should install G9200ZHU2DQB1 which gives me an System check failure: Bootloader Error on Odin.
Tried it even with the Bootloaders chinese Version. Installed TWRP but when i try to install the SVA ROM it fails because of Zip Signature incorrect.
Anyone an idea what to do? Already asked Valery but he seems to busy to answer.
Kind regards

Help Rooting/flashing GT-S7562

Hi, so i ran in to some problems and questions while fixing my girlfriends galaxy s duos (GT-S7562).
I wanted to install a debloated firmware/root the device to uninstall bloatware because it got dead slowly in the last few weaks.
some info:
AP: S7562XXALJ4
CP: S7562XXLJ3
CSC: S7562ATOALH1
free handset bought in Austria
First of all I followed this guide.
I installed the clockwork recovery first, but when booting into it I don't get the usual backup option I normaly found on my older android devices.
When I try to root it i get error "failed to verify whole-file signature" and "signature verification failed".
Last I wanted to ask what roms are possible to install on my device,
fyi: KyleOPEN ROM says it needs XXBMD6 Base rom
but how can I get this Base rom? or is it impossible for me to flash this rom?
any help/explanation would be appreciated!

The XXBMD6 base ROM is available here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Just input your phones model number into the device search and download the one with the matching PDA file end.
For the recovery issues, some recoveries are different based on the devices capabilities but overall most options like install.zip and nandroid backups should be available.
To flash the base ROM use odin and flash as if you're returning to stock then follow the guide.
And there are many ROMs available for your device, there's a list in the thread you posted
thanks for your answer, so I just have to flash any of the XXBMD6 roms over my XXALJ4 (I guess this is the PDA file end you're talking about)?
after this I am able to install mentioned KyleOPEN ROM?
sorry I'm almost new in this topic (last android phone was a htc legend, forgot everything)
edit: the problem with the recovery was that it switched back to stock recovery itself, found the workaround with renaming the install_recovery

[Help] Can't install custom recovery !

Hello,
I have some problem to install custom rom and recovery on samsung US device
Can I unlock bootloader for this device ? what I should do to install Custom recovery ?
Thank's
Sadly, you cannot unlock your bootloader past the 4.1.2 update (excluding 4.1.2), and the only custom recovery that works is SafeStrap. All of the ROMs you install past said update must be on the TouchWiz kernel, so there's no escape.

You're going to have to provide a lot more info cuz that doesn't make sense. Flashing a custom recovery on a Verizon S3 (SCH-I535) with 4.3 or 4.4.2 causes a hard brick upon rebooting the phone.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
ok, what can I do now to install a custom rom to get another language and get mmi code when I'm looking that ?
Thank's

[Completed] [Q] Accidently deleted system file ( Not sure)

hi
i have recently rooted my phone Samsung galaxy s4 (GT-I9500, android 5.0.1) using CF auto root and i think there is no custom rom or recovary.
As per thread these are installed after rooting
- SuperSU binary and APK
- Stock recovery
Today i tried to delete system apps mentioned in a thread in this forum. Now after restarting phone shows this message - " Android is upgrading " and i keep getting message saying unfortunately " ____ " app has stopped. Phone screen is blank. i can't do anything.
I think now i need to flash a new ROM using Odin. I don't have any prior experience in flashing ROM.
Can somebody help me in this.
from my limited knowledge i thin i should do following things
1)install CWM recovary first and
2) then flash a Custom Rom
Please provide a solution to my problem with link to download files
thank you

Thank you for your answer. Some questions:
1. Should I build custom ROM myself? Because I can't find any compatible ROM.
2. Can I flash custom ROM with stock boot and recovery? Because I can't change them.

Unable to install any custom rom on my SM-N915FY

Hi all,
I have an Galaxy Note Edge type SM-N915FY with custom rom installed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/development/rom-micky387-rom-v1-0-t2998972
My phone is running on android 5.0.1 with kernel: 3.10.30-andrei-N915F-BOC6-v1.0
Baseband-version: N915FYXXU1BOB5
Yesterday I was trying to install the newer custom rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/development/rom-micky387lollifamous5-1-1v1-t3200849
To make sure this will work, I needed to flash the TWRP , after I tried to flashed this using Odin, the phone got in a Bootloop. So I flashed the older TWRP again and my phone is booting again.
So I tried to clear the cache, but then I get the error: Unable to mount \cache, I didn't know how to solve this so I reflashed the TWRP again through Odin, but still the same issue.
Do you guys know how I could install another custom rom? My phone is rooter, just to make sure.
Thanks in advance.

To move on to newer custom ROMs (based on 5.1.1), you need to download and flash Stock 5.1.1, which you can download from here, then you can root it, to get the necessary files for doing so, check this thread out.
Credits for TWRP, new ROMs and the possibility of root on 5.1.1 go to micky387.
You Saved me. After I flashed the original android 5.1.1 I was able to flash TWRP and install custom rom.
Many thanks!
