Moto turbo powerpack - Moto Z Force Accessories

Is this out in the U.S yet? Not available at the moment here in UK and really wanted to get my hands on it

I actually picked one up the other day! It's definitely fast charging while not being ridiculously bulky, and the charging indicator on the back is nice to have.

Nice, can't wait for it to hit the UK. How much did you get it for? Are you able to switch off charging mode while still connected to the phone?

Turbopower pack does NOT work with Android Marshmallow. In case anyone is still on Marshmallow and was thinking of getting this new battery pack you will need to update your phone.

Just picked one up from Verizon. Better then the morphe in every way. Not as rounded off at the edged like the Incipo but the see thickness. And now 6,990mahof power.

nexus one cradle with battery charger

I'm thinking of getting this 3rd party cradle for the Nexus one but i'm afraid it's not going to be as good as the OEM one. Has anyone had any experience with this brand?

Ive had the official one since the day it was available. Although i do like it, it isnt perfect. The phone doesnt sit as well as i would hope so. Its fallen over many times for me, enough to warrant a case purchase....which doesnt fit in the dock. In the end, it wasnt worth the extra coin i paid for it. So i say spend your 25$ on the one you see and dont look back
I'm getting a similar dock..... 4phoneaccessories.com/product_info.php?language=en&currency=USD&products_id=3555 - supposed to be getting it hopefully next week, so I'll let you know how it is.
Also, xda wouldn't let me post the full URL, so I had to remove the http and www
You can use adb with it, you can't do that with the official one.

which one the first link or the third?
I'd really prefer the microUSB connection to enable easy data transfer and adb, so I may have to try this one. Most docks with microUSB use the connection as the only vertical support but this one has a molded plastic guard to reduce the strain on the port. Worth trying for $25, imo.

All the ones that use micro usb to connect (all except official) should support data transfer.

Oh wow. I love that I can charge a second battery in there. Please report back with how well this works. Thank you thank you.
I got this one off ebay because I simply needed a spare battery charger.

It works perfectly and even the phone sits firmly in the dock, much better than in the official dock. The only reason to get the official dock is if you want the clock app to activate automatically or hook it up to a stereo or something. Otherwise, get one of these 3rd party apps to charge your spare battery and phone and manually activate the clock app before you go to bed.

Hey Jak - can the Nexus fit in the cradle with a rubber/silicone case? How is the back support? I'm thinking about getting one of these but in looking at it, I'm concerned that there is not enough support to take off the strain from the USB port. Like it would cause the charging port to become loosened over time. Please let me know.

I'm thinking about getting this one also due to it appears to give more back support which may take the strain from the usb charging port. Did you ever get this and if so, how do you like it?

I've got this cradle and that's exactly what I do. I take off the lower part of my Seidio Innocase II Surface case before sliding it in the dock and then open the clock app myself. Been using it for about 3 weeks now without a hitch. I had originally ordered the official N1 dock and decided I didn't like the way the phone sat in it within 15 mins of opening the box and returned it to HTC. With the microUSB plug in the bottom, the phone never falls out and holds it in position for clicking on the screen when in the dock. The only down side to the dock is it has an extremely bright blue led on it that acts as a night light in my room. I've since started taking the bottom part of my case and laying it over that light. Overall, I'd say the 3rd party dock is way better then Google's.
P.S. - One other nice thing about the dock is you can charge your phone via USB or the power cord that comes with it. USB will not charge the extra battery and a phone though, so if you want to do that combo, you have to plug it into the wall.

I haven't tried it with a rubber case, but it doesn't fit with a hard case. It supports the phone around the base and slight in the back. It feels very stable.
Oh, the battery charger has 4 pins, so I think it's an intelligent charger.
I bought this one
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.34205
And it's Fu**ing great. In my night stand look beautiful and if you want, it can connect to your PC also.
I recommend this one for sure, and is the cheapest. Quality is good, really nice feel - does not feel cheap.
I bought from 4u KIDI extra battery witch was broken. Now I ordered two extra ones with charger on ebay for 20$, So I didn't check if extra battery charger works on my stand.
Great...thanks everyone!

Just arrived. So far it's exactly what I wanted. The plastic support is perfectly molded to the Nexus, so the phone snaps solidly into place. There's a bright blue LED on the front, so that may be bothersome if you're using it as a nightstand but it could be covered up easily. Charging and sync work as expected. Definitely worth the price.
I agree. Mine came in yesterday and I'm really glad I ordered it. Definitely meets my expectation and has the support to reduce the strain on port - which was my initial concern. Highly recommend. I got mine from here:

Mugen Power 3600mAh Extended Battery

Does someone has this one?
3600mAh Mugen power
At "Special Price" of $104.95 I don't think I would want it. Back cover looks horrible, instead of making a hump they kept the width consistent with a slight curve.
My phone looks smaller with BALLISTIC case on. Battery life is no longer an issue if you have a small charger like below, just keep it in your pocket and charge your phone while it is not in use.
the reason there is no hump like on the HD2, is because the back cover is required to get a signal, due to the contact pins being right there. The back cover isn't a 3 piece back cover, so they can't make a part have a hump, and the rest not.
I have not used this one but I'm currently using their 3300mah for Nexus S...I payed their price and I must tell, they do a good customer support job for the price they ask for it.
Speedtest?
Can anyone shed light on why speedtest had a faster download with the extended battery installed?, is it simply more powerful because I would have thought the power was regulated by the phone itself?
Is it likely to be a better aerial in the back of the Mugen case?
Thanks.
Terry
That thing is ugly
If you have to replace the battery door, how do you expect the antennas to work?
That's... HUGE!
The size is too big, and out of my price range
I have one, it gives me enough power to last until the next morning without a charge. The wifi sucks now since the back doesn't have the metal antenna connectors, but everything else works fine. The back is ugly as hell, but its worth it to be able to last at least a day.

The aerial is probably better than the original HTC one, so faster results, they could afford to make it a lot bigger as the back of the phone is a lot bigger
So far so good! Loving my new HTC Beluga!
All kidding aside though... Ditch the skinny Jeans kids, you're killing your sperm!
Thickness is not always bad thing (that's what she said)

Yes, they sent me a new back to the phone, but it didn't fix it. If I switch to the old battery/back then its fine and works great, but with the back they sent me, my range is now severely limited and certain ways of holding the phone drops my signal altogether.
Well a friend of mine is offering a mugen 3600mah(!) battery unopened for 50 euros... that's about half the price I can find it in retail.
I'm still waiting for my Anker batteries, but I'm -seriously- thinking of getting that as well... do you think it's worth the price, will it really get me ~2.5x the battery time I have now (including drain) or I'll end up with roughly 3-4 hours extra?
Just waned to add that Mugen Power has a slim solution that is OEM sized but still gives about 15% juice.

Wireless QI charger advice

Hello, i'm looking to get a charging pad to go with my S-View Wireless cover. There's quite a few brands and models with similar customer ratings. I would really appreciate some advice on what to look out for in a wireless charger pad. for my Note 4. I don't usually go for "official" stuff as you end up paying for the brand name rather than the quality of performance of the product so any recommendation is welcome
Thank you in advance
I got this one from amazon and it works great.

What are your needs? I have like five different ones that I personally use and could recommend. For dual charging I use the Energizer charger, for most devices I use the Nokia DT900. Recently I purchased Anker Ultra Slim charger and a couple Powerbots. They each have their pros and cons.
thank you @harryhoudini66
I'm not looking for anything in particular, ideally I would like the most power efficient one to charge my Note 4 and hopefully not too expensive

Where will this be used i.e. desk, home, car, work?
This one is very portable and small. You can select your preferred color combination. I own both the red and blue one. The red one beeps once to let you know you placed it correctly and beeps repeatedly to let you know when it is not. The rubber ring on the bottom and top help to hold the device and grip the surface you place it on. Very easy to hit the sweet spot as well. The price is also very good.

If you are looking for something very flat to place in a tight place, this one works well. This one is flatter than the Powerbot but bigger in diameter. It also has rubber on the bottom to keep it from moving but nothing on the tops.

Zero Lemon 8500mAh Extended Battery for Note 5 works on Note 4 - Total 11,720mAh!

Hey guys. I've tested this on my Note 4 and it fits! The volume rocker, power button and S-Pen slots all line up. The case does protrude a bit on the sides, however it is very minor and I am now using this as my daily driver.
This does Rapid Charge passthrough for the phone and has a full spare USB-A slot to charge a second device (not rapid charge though). The battery itself does not rapid charge in nor out but passes the rapid charge through to the phone while charging the battery.
Pictures to come.

How does the case affect the phone weight? I've never played with the case.

That's not a good idea i think.
You will loose sound cause the speaker is covered though.
Interested to see if this works. I find it frustrating to use the 10,000 mah extended battery from zerolemon as it never reads correctly even with the beast mode kernal that has the zero lemon fix. Post those pictures please.
i doubt about fitting part cause of note 5 camera n flash position compare to note 4 .
Good point
Are you using correct zero lemon kernal with your note 4 not hundred percent accurate but very good
can we see some pictures of your note 4 with the note 5 battery? i will get one asap if this really fits well.

There's no way that this case would fit a Note 4 and be a good idea. 1. The battery case completely covers the speaker and no sound is present. 2. The camera flash and camera itself are not located in the exact areas, whereas you'll be interfering with the lens etc. 3. The charging I this thing socks cause the connection is done thru a modified male micro USB connector which takes literally twice as long to charge and the correct battery. 4. Unless you have insurance on your phone, why risk 2 millimeters of loose play on the side of the TPU case? In my opinion, the most obvious choice, would be to use the correct battery with the correct phone. That's just my opinion, lol

Have anyone tried charging dock + spare battery deal from AliExpress?

Hey guys,
Have anyone tried this desktop charging dock and a pretty bad looking spare battery? The seller warns right off the bat that the battery has lower mAh than listed, so I would assume the overall quality of the items is low, but maybe I'm wrong? Thanks.
Here's the link to Aliexpress item
It looks very similar to Monoy charging dock that is present on Amazon.
Also, does anyone know any good spare batteries that are present on AliExpress?
Dude i have! Look at my Thread but except the Charging Dock!
Edit: btw it's on the G4 Thread
Pretty sure that's the same one on Amazon, that's what i have - works great and spare charges quick enough, but I'm using an OEM spare i got for 9$ on Amazon too
The dock is easy enough to use, phone sets in nice when naked and has a removable plate if you want to have a case on your phone - note only the tiniest of cases will work though still
Only issue is the led lights are rather bright and annoying for siting next to my bed - have a piece of tape over it
For a cheap dock i would say go for it but don't expect the knock off battery to be all that nice
Oh and my wife has had the same style one for her g4 over a year now so i expect good longevity with this too
