Is that a font/language setting or is that supposed to be English and its the corruption?.

Go to any blank screen hit settings and then edit - tap the fray plus sign at the bottom of the screen. You can only add one blank screen at each end of the screens display - but you can add one item, add another screen then go back adn delete that one item and have two blank screens.

i dont think you can have more than 7. i'm running launcher pro, and thats all i can get on that as well.
After moving some images from the camera to a new folder, the regular gallery app won't show them, just a triangle where the image should be. Also, I can't send these images in messages from quickpic. What can I do about this? They're all pics of my newborn son and everybody wants to see him!

did you try clearing quickpic's data and cache
I have a problem with Quickpic too - when I try to assign a picture to a contact - when you pick a picture, choose 'set as' and then try and assign a picture to a contact it just doesn't work. The picture to be assigned opens up with the margins to be set (edit mode), fades away for an instant and then comes back. When you set the margins and click the floppy disc icon (in the top right hand corner) to 'save' the picture the screen goes black and you have to exit the program. I'm fairly sure that this feature used to work fine up until recently. I've even gone as far as to do a factory reset on my phone, reflash my phone's ROM and reinstall the QuickPic app. No change though, I still can't set a contact picture.
Can anyone help? My phone is a Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray.

So the images wont show in the stock gallery app or quickpic? Hate to say this but they may have gotten currupted during the move.
Anyone noticed that when no pages are open in chrome, the screen shows a black google image.
I dont understand why gooogle wouldnt want the image in color. Any comments or work arounds?

I'm confused. You want a colored Google Chrome logo when no tabs are open? Post a request in apps and themes. This is no bug. Just your demanding preference.

Sorry , not referring to bugs. I actually meant the Chrome logo. What I meant was when you open chrome and if all tabs are removed (ie you come to the + new tab screen, then the entire screen is black along with the chrome logo !! Just looks plain ugly. A little bit of colour would be welcome even if noone is going to look at a blank screen for long ! !
If you are an avid user of Whatsapp, then you must have encountered one of those situations in which you get a picture and when you open it, the picture turns into something else.
For example- you get a picture. the thumbnail shows a pic of a girl, and when you tap on it, a picture of a bear appears instead.
I've found out that pictures like these are made using apps like FhumbApp(iOS) and MagiApp(Android).

Looks like it. You can switch to the contacts tab and it shows your favorites at top...but yeah, I know that's not the same. Not sure why they got rid of it.
This sucks!!! I wonder why they removed it coz I find it very useful

Looks like they changed it to PIN TO TOP. Select your person from text app, tap on menu on top right, now look at the bottom for the feature. Think of Twitter pins.
Your pinned texting contacts won't be listed horizontally, just at the top of you list.
I'm on Tmobile note 7, it it makes a difference
Hate that they removed this feature. Pin to top doesn't work for me cause if I get 4 messages I don't even the last message unless I scroll down. I'm now missing that I got a text if I get to many at once. I get allot due to work and PS was a blessing for me. I hate the new app now
