Once in a while, when your significant other yells at you, you might use your phone a bit less. Rate this thread to express how the Google Pixel XL's battery performs under light use. A higher rating indicates that the device goes a long time when you're using the phone sparingly: no gaming or video/audio streaming, light web browsing, some calling and texts, etc.

This phone has amazing battery life compared to most flagships. It's also pretty much the cheapest phone with an OLED display. The low-power processor has its worse, but you'll never have to worry about a high framerate consuming excessive battery!
This phone after installing lineage is is amazing
The performance is day and night as compared to the stock ROM and battery life here you go

I wanted to post the very good results I get from my battery after all my good settings.
So I usually have way more than 24 hours of battery life with moderate to heavy usage. And I can go over 8 hours of screen on time, with wifi, 4g, and a bit of gaming not restricting anything. What are your results?

as long as you run android pie (9.1), everything is good. you can watch the percent of your battery slowly decrease and thats okay. but.. if you upgrade to android 10, things become worse. it runs out of battery relatively fast. it led me to downgrading to android 9.1 asap. for the standard user that uses the screen often to communicate via whatsapp, facebook or whatever, it is definitely okay and i think it will last the normal workday (like from 8am to 10pm) if you use it that way.

I get about 12 hours sot without gaming. And around 8 hours with gaming
I get over 12 hours of SOT almost all the time watching Facebook live stream over 4G.
12 hours? HOW?
I bought this phone just for the big battery. It's new, all optimised, just a few apps and the battery sucks...not to mention the battery graph. I honestly believe that I don't even reach 5 hours SOT, just by using WhatsApp and Mint Browser. mah!
Now my phone is at 87% with a 1h27 SOT. Google play services is at the top with 11.25% (which is still low, compared to usual values). I have disabled and optimised everything I could, no sync, no backup, nothing...and still, here I am
Depends on usage, but i can get from 10 to 6 hours of sot. If using phone non stop, 10+ hours easily. If a lot of standby, i usually get around 6 hours sot with 48 hour standby.
For me in half brightness it lasted me 11 to 12 hours almost non stop in YouTube and Instagram
