Are you kidding me? The biggest known bug in this phone. No fix from Moto for the last 5 months. Voice in both earphone and speaker is lowest I have seen. I have used cheap phones, but the loudness in this phone is the lowest. Any Chinese Xiaomi phone will have better volume. Don't buy this phone for voice calls.

For the Idol 4:
The speakerphone is pretty decent. Especially when it's rooted with Viper4Android. Overall stock is decent. A bit better with the boom key if you don't mind a more surround type sound. I'd say 8 out of 10.

Good but not excellent. It could be louder. Compared to a couple of top brand old phones, the speakers of pretty much all chinese brands arent very loud. In loud, if a Samsung is a 9, id give this a 6-7.

I had to switch from a Samsung Galaxy J7 2015 since i dropped it and the screen totally crashed :C
i love this huawei, i think it is faster (in performance) from the J7 but the speaker isn't as good as the other phone.
it does sounds loud to me, but it doesn't sound as loud as my previous phone
Here is some sound coming out from the earpiece very high pitch. Not loud enough though

loving the speakerphone
I just spent 2 hrs on the speaker phone. No issues, if anything it seems a little sensitive. I'm loving this phone.
The speakers are good, but it seems like the top speaker is noticeably louder than the lower one when watching a video. Not really an issue, but I thought it was interesting.

Phone call earpiece volume too low.
Hi everybody and happy new year!I have a TA-1196 and during calls the volume on ear speaker is way too low. Anyone experience this situation. Can be done something? I already unlock the bootloader.
