Amazing quality even in low light conditions
Selfie cameras are made for disabled amoebas. I would get rid of this bull**** module, and replece it with something handy. IR blaster for example.
With Google camera it is amazing

Selfies are not very great. Not bad, but not great. Beaufy feature and filters are quite good, but selfie camera performs quite bad in low light situations.

If you look at the quality of image captured you will see even the finest "dots" on your face. So the camera is good but the app doesn't provide enough filters so that you can beautiful yourself.

I wouldn't have minded a wider field of view. But this selfie is, IMHO, first rate.

Very good front camera. I admits that many midranger have better camera than this but this is not a SELFIE only phone wo very happy with front camera and screen flash works good in low light camera is capable however due to poor optimizations it acts weird in low light

After the new ASIG September update, I tried taking a "night mode selfie" in the day light and the result was stunning. Pictures turned out CRISP with so much better dynamic range, just give it a try.

Sorry to say this, but the selfie camera.. is not so good. its okay to take a fast selfie on a bright day. but the portrait option with the automatic bokeh is really annoying. my predecessor device huawei p20 didnt have such problems. and you feel that its only have 8MP. srsly, HMD could have done a better job here. but otherwise, the pictures are useable anyway. its not like it will win a grand prize, but it will still be acceptable
