Very less heating in this phone. even when using while charging.
i have enabled a setting on this phone to indicate when it reaches 42 degrees, and it almost always reaches this temp even when doing mundane jobs like talking or browsing. this temp has become a norm as phones get faster and more powerful so i wouldn't complain about this heating that much , I use it with a case and i hardly feel the heat so fine with me .

I don't play games on it. The only time I notice it gets warmer is when it is charging. The Battery monitor app I use shows an increase in tempearature (35-40 C) until about half way through charging, then it drops off to normal again (20-25 C)..
It gets really warm when I play Real Racing 3.But fortunately performance remains unaffected and heat drains out very quick as well.

Not had any heat issues but it's also winter and haven't tried driving down the interstate with the phone in a window mount yet.
I saw complaints about the non-existing cooling system but actually I can't see the need of this because even with heavy usage the device is still not warmer than my hand.
The Phone Build is clean so heat issue till now.
Oneplus 6T is a beast never heats.
I'll say heat not worry me at all. In games (Dead trigger, asphalt) it's not noticable as on my HTC 10. So most the time phone is cool or" comfy warm"

Any device will get toasty under extreme conditions.
I really don't see the point of this thread as the OP6T has no overheating issues.

I experienced little sluggish when i played call of duty mobile in maxed out graphics. I feel like is due to CPU thermal throttling because my op6t was hot AF, it was as hot as a frying pan.

Heating with PUBG on 60 fps especially if charging.
Compared to my old phone (RN 4)
Stays at a comfortable temperature under low strain, but gets very hot in no time during graphics intensive gaming.
It gets so hot you fear it might melt right in your hands.
I can confirm: a hot one under stress. Having the protective shell on is probably also part of the problem.

No heating till now... Used heavily but haven't run any games till now.
Even after 5 hours long gaming (pubg on smooth settings) the phone doesn't even get warm Even while charging.

Super-surprised at how little heat this phone generates, even while VOOC charging & multi-tasking at the same time - very impressive.
At first i thought the little heat was pretty impressive,but now i have sometimes the phone is heating up,with charging and some games like marvel super war
The thermal management on the Reno Z seem to be pretty much perfect, it even seems to fair quite well running basic tasks with the hot Aussie sun directly on it, overall pretty good.
