If you want a normal display work - install AOSP-based, because if sun shines on your phone, it make the display backlight crazy and black color becomes gray.

I'd say honor 8 pro is better here.
Impressive..
Nice deep blacks
The blacks come across very nicely on the Honor 9. One of the better non-amoled displays out there.

AMOLED displays have always been good with showing good colors.

yellows have a green tint, stay away from this phone, I regret buying mine
Can definitely confirm greenish yellows, which is very annoying.
Greenish yellows
I feel like it's something to do with dynamic contrast. I've grow to love this phone and it's display but if you ever for example open the emotional section on a white background and you have for example a page in the browser open that's white, watch the yellow emojis and look how they change colour but I do feel like this screen is a bit dull compared to my XZ Premium which I loved.
Yes, that's something I observed, too. Sometimes you can see it turning into greenish tint. Display calibration got a bit better with Pie and it now has 3 (+ default) presets for screen temperature. "Warm" works best for me for the moment.
