Thank you for this. It's awesome. I think I'm too lazy to make the auto script.
Edited: This mod can be used on stock ROM. Just delete something like NokiaVariantsManager.apk in /system/app. I tried with Simonoid and it works perfectly.

can anyone tell me where is Data Partition and where is Custom Partition? i'm a normal user, so i don't know about it.
i see only in wipe:
-dalvik/art cache
-data
-internal storage
-cache
-system
-sdcard

I've read the instructions but I can not understand the line "After successful auto reboot Wipe Data Partition"
I wiped Data, Custom, flash the mod, wipe data again and reboot but when it finished rebooting the Internal Memory is still the same, just a " custom.img " (400MB) appear in my SD card.

Bro in twrp if you did factory reset then it wipe /data,/sd-ext,/android-secure.and there is no option in twrp to wipe only /data partition so if you want to wipe only /data partition not /sd-ext partition you can't do that in twrp(only way is to remove your sdcard before doing factory reset. )

Thats what I wanted to say that we don't have option of only wiping /data in CWM as well, I will have to say again Wiping data in recovery means Factory reset.
The wipe data only is turned off via conditions in the ui. And can be turned on via themes. Here is a stock theme that turns on the format data button. It's untested, so give feedback on it. PLace it in the sdcard/TWRP/theme folder.

You you are right it can be enable through theme.but didnot tested what exactly these option
Wipe.
Some of these buttons are turned off by build flags. But could be brought back to a functioning button in themes.
Internal wipe means wiping phones that have an internal storage. So i'd remove that from themes.
External wipe is wiping the sdcard. Will add in future builds.
Android secure wipes /sdcard/.android_secure
data/factory reset... wipes cache, userdata, andriod secure, sd-ext
data wipe is meant for internal storage flags, but I just tested it and it did wipe the data partition.
sd-ext
Does anyone use android secure wipe only? I'm trying to keep the wipe section down to 6 buttons. This is due to the closeness of the onscreen home and back buttons and to prevent accidental wipes if there is a 4th row.

.....flash screen takes a lot of time around 25s......
Good to see an updated TWRP! could you please release versions also for P505/P506?
(they just need a slightly modified kernel, with a different framebuffer driver. See Rashed97's CM10 thread for an appropriate kernel)
Thanks in advance!
Thank you very much!!! So long time waiting....and surprise! Thanks again and keep this thread alive with updated versions

Yes it is OPT.
the first/only reason that makes you stay using CM12 is the OPT( Thanks to Mustaavalkosta ) :good:
maybe the second reason will my Candy'Saga
CM11 gave me a better daily usage but I like being up to date, maybe a work on CM13 will show up at any moment and this ROM will be useless.
The first time I booted, it took me to a screen that says "Encryption Unsuccessful" Its kind of weird.

* Fix missing library in android-8.0 (nkk71)

Questions
1. Do we still need to reflash the boot image after booting to twrp again to avoid encryption?
2. Where do we need to put the boot img and magisk/superSU files if we're going to wipe the data, won't that be deleted as well hence with the internal storage?
3. Lastly, will the sd card be read? Because in the other twrps I've tried both internal and extsd will not read or not mountable.
Hope you'll respond ASAP
Thank you

Just flash the no verity zip.then reboot the device. Then you're good to go what you want to do

Thank you

1. No
2/3. SD Card can be read but I can't mount it on a USB. You might want to backup all your data.

First off all I wanna know if TWRP is working or not? Secondly I don't own this device to work for it either I can but you have to provide logs(will be irritable). And I don't see many people for whom I can work.I mean these days, nobody like mediatek chipset devices...
Maybe you didn't set RW permission that's why USB can't mount ?
Okayyy thank you very much for the immediate responses guys highly appreciated:victory:

Let me make it clear.. to remove encryption, we need to do following actions : wipe - advanced data - data, - reboot recovery - wipe - advanced data - data - reboot system
Is that correct?

After flashing twrp and boot.img we have to boot directly to twrp? We need to then wipe data partition twice to remove encryption? @anabhi

is it compulsory to wipe data ? i mean if i dont want to remove encryption... will the twrp work ?
I've been struggling with command since 3 hours ago. Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img always give result command write failed (no error)
Fastboot flash boot boot.img also give exactly the same result.
Is there anyone able to help me? I've tried mostly everything I read online but the result is still the same..

@mustali erasing data is compulsory for make twrp works without encryption
@Nandsha check your device state on display - if it's say locked then you can't flash any img files , read the guide from starting ,u will understand !
And im working on remain fixes on both recovery , so don't ask for eta :fingers-crossed:

Is there any possibility of getting stable AOSP ROMs for our realme 2 pro? Because honestly, color OS sucks.

Maybe the OP develops the stable custom rom for our device but realme not released the full kernel sources for the start developing.

Changelog:
12.07.2022 - Initial Release.
Note1: You need a custom permissive kernel to boot with R/W vendor.
Note2: If you got bootloop on Samsung logo, reboot to TWRP and wipe metadata from Advanced Wipe section.
Hi, I am currently testing this. So far, I have only flashed the TWRP via ODIN (already have a custom ROM running).
I want to backup my data first before messing around. When I try to mount internal storage, it says 0MB.
So do I need to flash the custom kernel before I can access the data partition or internal sdcard?
Or is data access/backup not supported?

And what does GSI that installed to system has to do with data encryption?
If you are worried about your data just move them to pc
And if you are worried about encryption simply dont use twrp.

The GSI has no support for userdata encryption, which means that the internal data can't be encrypted (and should be unencrypted in /data). Otherwise I would not be able to boot into the ROM. But maybe I am wrong on this.
So if I reformat my data and run the multidisabler, does that mean I can access data in TWRP even having a custom ROM?

Yes after running multidisabler and formatting data. You might able to boot GSI without custom kernel but not stock

OK thanks. What partition does the multidisabler actually patch to disable encryption? System? Or boot?

Vendor is ro, it convert it to rw then patch vendor/etc/fstab.exynos****
TWRP and your kernel work in A536N, But root and /system are still ro
I installed stock May 24 firmware with magisk patched before installing TWRP
P.S ) I have to clear dalvik & cache every reboot

Yes as I said earlier only vendor is rw to disable encryption. We cant do the same for system as the size doesn't fit.
Ah, Biometrics lockscreen from stock ROM conflicts with SafetyNet Fix module...
That's why I have to clear that every reboot...
Are there any roms available for the A53? Because I was looking for twrp .zip files for this phone, and couldn't find anything for this model.

If I were to download phh's AOSP extended for the Samsung galaxy A53 would I have to get the vanilla version? Also when downloading due I have to extract the img.xz file to just get the .img file, and then using an sd card put the file on the phone to flash?
Note my phone model is SM-A536E/DS.

gapps = google apps (e.g play store)
vanilla = no google apps
You should install that via TWRP fastboot mode! (or fastbootd)
In fastboot, you may need USB 2.0 port
P.S) my phone is A536N + stock ROM
