Does the Galaxy S Duos support 5ghz? - Samsung Galaxy S Duos

Hi,
Does the Samsung Galaxy S Duos support 5ghz bandwidth wifi?
I don't have the phone but I'm looking to get a couple of them for a project,
I've done a lot of research online and couldn't come across any reliable source of information for this question.
Most specs websites aren't reliable like for example PhoneArena and GSMarena states that the Samsung Galaxy Axiom doesn't support 5ghz when it actually does, so I don't trust those sites.
PhoneScoop is the only reliable site that I found, but it doesn't provide information on the Galaxy S Duos!
Thanks for your answer this is very important to me!
Have a nice day!

Samsung Jet (s8000)

Hi,
I'm thinking in buying the new samsung jet but it doesn't come with android, instead samsung choose touchwiz2.0.
It came to my knowledge that samsung is releasing or has already release the Samsung Galaxy (i think that's the name) with the number i7500, this one coming with android.
Knowing that there are same builds and guessing that this phones pretty much look alike... could anyone tell me if there can/will be (or if it exists) a build for Samsung Jet that allows android in it?
Thank you for the time

Welcome to forums
As this is an HTC devices forum only, I´m not sure that you´ll get too much information.
However good luck,
thank you,
i know that... but I've found little information about samsung builds and a friend of mine spoke highly of this forum so i though I'd give it a go.
Can you refer me a more adequate forum?
thank you

Samsung Galaxy precedent forum?

Hi, I wanted to ask which is the best forum to post questions about the Precedent? It's by Straight Talk/TracFone. Its very similar to the Prevail (from what I've read) and also uses the Sprint Network (also from what I've heard).
Give Us A Forum Already!!
I second this! The Samsung Galaxy Precedent SCH-M828c needs its own forum!!!! We have roms we want to post!!!!
Did we ever get one?
I wouldn't hold my breath...
Looks like you didn't and most likely wont get one either, xda seems to be rather lackluster for having forums for budget/entry level devices..

forum for Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SGH-I757M)

I was not sure who to contact in this case so i decided to post here. Is it possible to create a new forum for the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SGH-I757M). The reason i am asking is because there is actually no forum for this device. Just are a few posts scattered in the Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 > Galaxy S II General section which can be very misleading. I think it would be beneficial in this case as there are a few people already working on the CM9 and CM10 roms plus it has been visited by thousand. Yes i agree not near as many as some devices (Galaxy S3) but as you can see there are people visiting the few posts every day.
Sincerely Gentledroid
any ideas who i may need to contact?

[Completed] Cm12

Anyone know when the cyanogenmod 12 will be coming to non LTE Samsung Galaxy s4?
Unfortunately no one can guess this information. Your best bet is to check out some of their google plus communities. You may find some answers there or even an unofficial port.
Good luck

[Completed] XDA is missing the Samsung Galaxy Tab A, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.7

Was planning on purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 tablet from either Swappa or T-Mobile. I wanted to research the rooting process and such before committing to the sale.
I've searched high and low and everywhere in between, there doesn't seem to be a forum for this device. The site also seems to be missing the Galaxy Tab E as well. I found the Tab , Tab 2, Tab 3, Tab 4, Pro, S, and S2.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
Yes there aren't any forums for the devices you have mentioned. However this may be because the device has been considered as a 'low-activity' device. This means you will have to use threads found in general forums like 'miscellaneous development'. We do understand the inconvenience of not having a organised forum compared to most devices, but this was a decision from the admins.
