Hey Guys,
does somebody know where I can get a Rollback-package for Honor 8 FRD-AL10.
I looked on Huawei/Honor Websites, but did'nt find anything.

Can you tell me what is the version?

I'm also still looking for the rollback file. I have the FRD-AL10 version now on Android 7.0!
The Build-Number says NRD90M test-keys. I really need help, I'm searching since 2 days and was also writing with the support.

Download the zips provided on post 5 , Flash it using twrp

Frd-al00's rollback is different from l04.
If you are in official emui 5.
I suggested you download hisuite in huawei website, and then connect your phone to pc, click system update in hisuite, you will see rollback button.

Interesting discussion. so is 360 the only version you can do a straight flash back to in TWRP, or is there a newer version?
Can the stock rom be rooted using Magisk or SuperSU - can one of them be flashed immediatedly after flashing the update zips before rebooting, while twrp is still loaded?

Yes, but if you flash back to b360, it doesn't take OTA updates, and I don't want to relock the bootloader.
The main issue I have with stock is the inability to turn off the battery charging LED - it really annoys me.

Help.
Been messing around. I'm now on b380 but camera doesn't work and updates don't work. I've lost twrp, and if I try to install it it fails, although my boot loader says it's unlocked. It's there a way to flash the restore from a pc if I can't get twrp reinstalled?

Eventually resolved by downloading rollback package and b331 from Huawei site, and putting the update.app from each in dload on the sd card and forcing flash.

Hello. After update requires huawei ID log and pass. Can't use phone.

FRD-L04 Help needed

I have a l04 with the latest 5.0 emui Android 7.0... The issue is that I wanted to format the phone to sell and doing so I deleted the os from twrp on accident and tried flashing the stock rom given from Huawei, but now the phone is giving me errors when trying to flash anything on twrp it tells me zip is corrupt. Not sure what to do from here since I cannot get the 5.0 recovery/boot/cust/system img files. Or the update app to do the 3 button reset.

Well i flashed the old img files for android 6 and they are not working i'm guessing because i am coming from android 7, so i flashed the twrp from xda for nougat and that is currently where i am at.

Okay lineage 14.1 worked, but is there any way to go back to emui 5.0?

I used the link on your profile for the go back to stock and I'm on the NRD90M test-keys official, but I wanted to get the b385 update from the team Mt firmware updater and it says it is approved. How would I update it through if the internal updater app on this ROM does not work?

Was able to setup proxy with desktop version and hisuite seems to be updating with new firmware.

How to wipe nougat from twrp 3.1 berlin

I think im stuck in nougat
i have updated my honor 6x to nougat through firmware finder. now this is my build no BLN-L22C675B310.
i tried to downgrade to MM but there is no roll back package for this build no
so i tried to format and wipe entire ph from twrp but the twrp from LOS download section is not booting even after completely power off then tried to boot into recovery not working. i think its for MM. so i tried twrp 3.1 berlin recovery
this time i can enter into recovery and i format data and wipe everything many times nothing happens after reboot it boots to nougat.
anyone help me

How go to MM without rollback package, via TWRP:
1. download twrp for MM, flash him, reboot recovery
2. make a factory reset in twrp, reboot recovery
3. flash full firmware MM (right firmware if not sure is it right don't flash it!!!)
4. reboot recovery, twrp is now replaced from stock recovery
5. tap factory reset in stock recovery
6. reboot, done

twrp for mm is not working on N. i tried to flash all the MM twrp recoveries they are not booting only twrp for N was working but its not wiping the device.
i have some experience on these recoveries when i was in MM. you can wipe your complete system,data and everything only from twrp recovery available on LOS 13 download section. remaining all twrp will not do the job. so finally we need good twrp for N.

Hi if u unbrick ur honor 6x please give ur honor 6x c675 marshmallow oeminfo I need this file for debranding my honor 6x to indian version

Oeminfo is common on both nougat and mm

Flashing Full Firmware *** [SOLVED] ***

Friends ,
I am using Honor 6x and rooted with TWRP recovery. I am on B320 firmware and model number is BLN L22. Indian model. Recently i got some issues in rom and decided to revert to fully stock unrooted.
So i have download B320 update.zip full firmware. About 1.6 GB. My question is how to flash it ? I need to go back to fully stock with bootloader locked. No more root needed.
I have just flashed L22 stock recovery now. So i have stock recovery and update.zip file.
Kindly guide me how to flash it without bricking . I am very new to 6x.

Delete this post sorry i didn't seen the model number correctly , but the process is same find the rollback package out side.
They won't rollback like that ,u have to first rollback to emui 4.1 and then feom there go for latest emui. Safest method.
Here is the bll l22 rollback package

Download and extract this there is update.app copy to external sdcard/dload now power off the device ,now press& hold all three buttons after vibrate release power button, it will update.

Now same as above one download-extract the update.app and copy to dload folder (delete the old one ) and power off and press and hold trick.
Done

I did not downgrade to EMIUI 4.1. I simply flash the update.app (EMUI 5.0) via dload method and now everything fine. Just now updated latest B330 via OTA and success. No need to downgrade.

B340 is about camera performance improvement and system stability , It might be flashable using TWRP, you can try it.
official roll-out will take few weeks.

So please make some proper guide..
Because once i already bricked my device on emui 5.0

But now i need to update because jio calls don't work on emui 4.1.
And not that expert as you guys

It is necessary, since that you wanna be rooted. You can choose between Magisk or SU root method; Magisk is better than SU to me, it allows much more than SU thanks to modules, a systemless root and many more. If you choose to root with magisk, then the "keep vendor partition mounted" option is a thing that you can ignore since that it won't be needed. In case you'll decide to root with SU, please follow steps as stated in OP from TWRP thread.

Hi..I am running currently on build B340,with twrp installed.factroy reset done,non Rooted. I am having issues with fingerprint scanner,so I want to go back completely to stock. can u guide me the steps that u did in the process..I am kind of noob in these things..thank u..and also can u upload the stock recovery files? Nougat on FRD-C900?

Background: I got my Honor 8 today, model # FRD-L04 (important later), updated to EMUI 5.1 and Nougat via Updater on phone, and decided I wasn't satisfied with EMUI. So I rooted and that went smoothly, but when I tried to flash a custom ROM, I bricked pretty hard. Long story short, tried flashing multiple ROMs until I found one that worked. The ROM I'm on right now has EMUI 5.1 and build number FRD-C900B131, which is completely different from my original build (FRD-L04). Looked it up and turns out it's a variant of the H8. Unfortunately, I tried to update via Updater and there were no updates available, so I'm stuck with EMUI 4.1 and MM for now (not complaining, since at least it works again). I also tried flashing the rollback ROM for the L04, but I got an incompatibility error when I tried dload method. So now, question is how do I get back to my original stock FRD-L04 ROM, or how do I update to Nougat on this model version (C900B131)?

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you guide me through how I would approach this? I'm not sure which TWRP to use for my (incorrect) build. Do you think using the TWRP for my correct build (L04) should be okay? I'm on EMUI 4.1 also, I think the EMUI version matters too when choosing which TWRP to flash.

I did, all of them are 3.0.2, none are 3.0.1. Should I try 3.0.1 from TWRP website?

Awesome, thank you. I've installed it and it seems to be working fine with no issues. So I found the rollback package for my model (L04), so I should just install this through TWRP? And then install the Honor 8 upgrade firmware? Does that sound right?

I get "Could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file". Is there somewhere I can download where it has META-INF?

Dude, i have the same problem, i´m stucked on android 6.0, my build number is C900B131 and it´s FRD-L04. Did you find an update for that exact same number? If so, could you please send it to me?
