Installation Instructions
ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST!
You have to flash latest Lineage OS to patch the vendor image before flashing this ROM!
Coming from another rom/clean install:
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe system, cache, dalvik/art cache, data
Flash rom zip and gapps
Reboot
Updating from a previous build/dirty flash:
Wipe system, cache, dalvik/art cache in recovery
Flash rom zip, gapps and any other zips you may use
Reboot
Substratum support is there as long as you have root and latest Substratum app. Some themes may have a little catching up to do, have fun testing them!
If you have any issues, grab a log after a clean flash, upload and link here please. Add steps to reproduce the issue in your post.
Do not report issues dirty flashing this over some unofficial build or with some kernel flashed.
Logcat Extreme app is great as you can choose to start recording a log just before reproducing an error and stop recording just after so you log just the part you need.

Big smiley!
I cant test if so please, someone can tell me how good this is and how's the battery?
It's good. Very good.
Fast, smooth, somehow the screen seems sharper and brighter - might be my imagination.
Ambient display working well for notifications, shame there's no gesture wake. Like the Ambient display link to display brightness, makes it far more useable.
Just finished charging, so we'l have to wait see for battery, but it didn;lt use loads during initial setup, so can't forsee any issues.
edit to add that Ambient display seems to stop working, not sure if it's a sleep issue or not. Issue I had on other roms of wifi going off when sleeping seems to be resolved,.

Yes, the bug where the camera can't record at 60 fps or the video on youtube dosn't work on 60 fps, the other rom for honor 8 that I've tested have this problem, it's the same for this one?

I've performed the tests on Validus so they might not be valid here.
- YouTube 720p60 and 1080p60 working flawlessly without any lags or shutters.
- Just recorded a 1080p60 video using Open Camera and its also smooth without any shutters.
- Default 1080p playback using stock Video Player also working great.
Since both Validus and Tesla are ROMs brought by same team and use same trees, your reported bugs should not be present.

Do try Validus. I have experienced zero lags on 720p and 1080p.

Both Tesla and Validus get really poor benchmark scores. Do you know why that is?

I personally have no interest in Benchmarks scores. For me anyways, the ROM is really buttery smooth. Anyways, where does the benchmarking scores falls short.

Try flashing this rom base on LOS, do not wiping data, just do a dirty installation.
It worked probably on my al00.
SIM card not detected is really weird.

How is it?battery and gaming and camera! Anyone tried this ROM?
Which kernel to flash with this ROM and how's the battery backup?
Masterpiece
I have been using this ROM since yesterday. Installed open gapps Nano , Using with In-built kernel Bazinga Halogen Death-machine.
Here is my review .....
The ROM has almost all the feature present in RR, Tesla, AOSP.
Performance, the best among all the 7.1.1 I used till now with all my daily needed apps installed and surprisingly without any custom Kernel, Free ROM shows about in the range 350 MB to 390 MB after installation of all apps I use. No lag, no shutter, no heating found till now.
Battery backup, awesome as observed from yesterday, It easily gives 1 day back-up with moderate use.
Well,
Camera quality is decent .
I am not a gaming geek but played LIMBO, it was a very smooth experience.
I am getting the best performance, battery back-up and casual gaming experience with all the desired features using built-in kernel, so I planed not to use any custom kernel unless there is any issue.
If the performance and stability continue in the future with the way It is now, this would surely be the MASTERPIECE among all Nougat for A6000 by @mshoaib7 :good:

A simple workaround you may like...
Create 2 additional APN mannually apart from Jio Internet APN as shown in SS
1st APN: Name: Internet , APN: mizone , leave remaining options as it is and Save
2nd APN : Name: Xyz, APN: www, leave remaining options as it is and Save.
If you are facing issue with DATA then switch among these 3 APN. keeping Data on.
Suppose Internet Data not working with Jio Internet APN then select any other 2 APNs you created, and it should work now.

Oooh. Tesla. My fave! I'll wait....
I have tested 1080p60 and 720p60 YouTube on this build and they're working flawlessly. Also native 1080p playback and 1080p camera recording without any shutters.
I would encourage you all to test it and see if its working for you too.
Update:
Sorry YouTube does seems broken. I tested it on a video where 60fps worked fine. I switched to a more action like video and there was the lag.

Try to disable Magisk and reboot to see if it enables.
If it doesn't works go to /system/etc, find a file named "Native Packages" and remove the .zip extension after it, then perform a reboot.
Many people are saying here that SafetyNet check doesn't returns 'true'. However for me it is working.
Please ensure that you have enabled Magisk Hide from Magisk settings and you're using the kernel that comes with the ROM and not any other custom kernel. Also ensure you're on Magisk 13.3 (surely not 13.1 since it had the SafetyNet bypass disabled).
When SafetyNet check return true you can use apps like Netflix, Snapchat that would otherwise normally wouldn't work.

Hello:
excellent ROM, it shows quite worked, I found the following bugs:
calls with Bluetooth do not work, only multimedia works.
Performance can improve.
4G / 3G connectivity can improve.
for now it's everything.
best regards
Very good ROM, have been testing it tonight and have not encountered any major bugs as of yet.
Slight things I've picked up on:
- During boot, you can hear the sound as if the ringtone volume has been changed (the noise when you adjust volume, aka the slight bleep)
- Compared to LOS 15 there seems to be a little discrepancy in terms of low level performance, I notice this ROM seems to have a few slowdowns in heavy usage and is a tiny bit stuttery.
Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to any upcoming updates!
cool, another 8.1, really hope we skip 8.0 to 8.1 like we did with nougat

There is a bug with YouTube, usually it doesn't work regardless of resolution.
We just have to wait for fix, probably YouTube app itself, not the rom.

Thank you dev! You are a true savior! MIUI is not my cup of tea and was waiting eagerly of LOS. Cheers!!
Will test in 1 hour. Will update results here.
Test result
working
-Front facing cam / Main Cam / Flash
-NFC
-Calls, VOLTE
-Wifi
-Bluetooth
Unstable
-Auto brightness (changing bright frequently with no reason)
Not working
-Double tap to wake (like thread said)
-Finger print (Says can't recognize - don't know why but after registering finger print it doesn't recognize mine. It has been tested 3~4 times with multiple fingers + brightness changes when clicking fingerprint sensor (Not sure if intended)
will update more

Did you come from Xiaomi.eu? If so you need to flash back the stock ROM before flashing this

Have you tried GSI ROMs? If so, how does the FP compare to the poor GSI performance?

Pardon my ignorance, but is that necessary? I'm asking since from my understanding, Xiaomi.eu ROMs are based on the China ROMs? Unless they borked things up somehow.
Does camera pop out during reboot? Are the circular edges smooth or jagged?
After some hours of usage, i can't now wake up screen on power button. I can sense vbrations when i press it longer, but screen won't turn on. Only restart helps, but it happend every time when i lock screen.
Any fast fix?
Before i enter my pin after reboot, power button works well. When i enter pin, power button don't wake up screen anymore.
When i deleted my fingerprint its working now.
But when i try to add fingerprint screen won't turn on.
That was pretty fast

Great build! The only issue I've run into, that I've also run into with a few other ROMs, is that my bank app won't connect. Not a deal breaker, though

I'm wondering if it's an AOSP issue alone seems like that bugs is present in ALL AOSP and should be listed as a KNOWN ISSUE. Just my 2¢
Nice , thank you so much
Rom is running great, only thing is I'm getting terrible idle drain. About 11% an hr

Not really
It's that way in order to allow for fingerprint reader to see fingerprint
On OOS is not happening since it lights up just a small area and current AOSP ROMS implementation is limited
However might be fixed eventually

Is just first build
Working on it to see how to improve
Is it just me or is the camera quality bad using AOSP Camera?
