There is at the moment no working xposed version for all 5.x devices of chines manufacturers.
The problem is the "ForceNotDex" I own a P7 (5.1.1). But I already opened a ticket on github so rovo89 knows about the issue.
For more information / news look at:
https://github.com/rovo89/Xposed/issues/72
Has rovo89 fixed this yet?
Does XPosed work on our device yet?
If not I will take it upon myself to make a systemUI theme.
The only reason I really want XPosed is to get the UI (Or the statusbar at the very least) to look like stock Android.

I checked your link. Just the last update from him was December 17th. I figured maybe there was a slight chance someone else had figured it out.

I'm waiting too for rovo89 answer... So the only thing I can do is check if rovo89 need more information or files... I am waiting too.
You guys should get KangVIP ROM for the P8 soon which will come with xposed and other mods. I do the KangVIP Slim rom for the Mediapad X2 and Mate 8. I don't own a P8 max but when the rom is released I'll share a link in the P8 max development thread. You can dirty flash it over your current rom and then just remove the Chinese bloat. I can even try and cook up a KangVIP ROM that is debloated and pre-rooted and has Google Contacts Sync, Calendar sync and Play Store included. It would be based off the Chinese version but should work on all versions. I would just need a person or two to test it as I'd be doing it blindly without owning the device.
Does anyone know or have any insights about whether Cyanogenmod ROM will be available in the near future for Honor 8 or not? I'm really looking forward to see an AOSP ROM for this devices

It's not the same. From my experience with Kirin platforms, AOSP is easier to get working (since EMUI is based on it).
About the 'near future', no idea, if you want me to talk from my experience, I've been sending Huawei emails since December and I am still waiting lol.
Relax, explore the device, try not to scratch it and wait for the roms.
According to @svetius Huawei is close to releasing the kernel code. It's not everything needed for CM13, but it's a place to start. I'm hoping they are going to provide more than just the kernel, and they provide a device tree and vendor proprietary files as well. I know I'll be trying my hand at building cm13 as the source files are released.

Is there even a difference? Try to find a difference between the FRD-L09 kernel and the FRD-L04 one.
And no, it won't speed up rom development or whatever, we've discussed about that countless times.

Not sure what parts of EMUI is giving you pain, but if it's just the UI you could just change to Nova Launcher or another Launcher for now. I've been using Nova-Launcher since the moment I got it and I think it works great.

Keep faith, but don't hope for too much....
Does this phone really need cm? I don't personally like emui but the phone is such a powerhouse that I can live with it. Plus I use my phone for aleast three weeks as the manufacturer intended. And I'm leaning more on it than past emui software...

Nano ROM
Debloated Customized and Inspired
Hello honori user
Since the Galaxy S3 i build Custom ROMs, but i'm since then not known here.. Everyone that use my builds know, the ROM is almost completely debloated. Unfortunately Im not a fan of the whole content they build in, although less than others. Before i changed to huawei i had an S3 like mentioned before, and a Z2 from sony. Im here since mid of june, and appreciated so far with a very stable and bugfree P9. At this stage i start here with my projects for all users like to flash custom roms. My support is highly 2-3 years or until EOL from Honor/Huawei.

Will this work or have any support for the L04 US model?
is this a modified stock rom, or is built up from the ground (source) - if so, could you post a link to your sources?
It zipalign automatic with deodexing.
Not for L04, but i can build too if some people want it.
Modified stock, read the based on line.

The modaco ROM on the modaco website forums is for L09 and was flashed on L04 and works perfect. It's in the honor 8 thread on modaco website. So this ROM should flash with no issues. I maybe wrong but just my 2 cents.

Hello guys,
Simple question, could someone tell me if there exists somewhere a rom in MM for Google Pixel to be able to downgrade my device?
Or maybe it wouldn't be very complicated to port a Nexus 6P rom to the Google Pixel? Any tutorial?
Thanks
Seeing as the device shipped with Android N, not a chance. I could be wrong, but I certainly havent seen it anywhere.

I haven't seen it here either, but it must be feasible even if the Pixel is released under Android N no? Nexus / Pixel smartphones are close to AOSP it should be simpler than with any other device

If you want a device with an older OS stay away from Nexus/pixel
And then worry about apps that no longer work, not a huge list yet, security, etc

No, there is a topic for Xposed MM or news about Xposed N. 0 topic about an MM rom for Pixel or about a tutorial for porting rom on our device.
I specified that I wanted a rom MM for Xposed, but I didn't ask about it so please be calm.

Guys i can confirm this is Oreo, it's written in the notification bar, that's it's im quoting "Dec 2017 with Android O"
Oreo Stable is out!
Seems like they kept a promise. Maybe we could give them a little bit credit next time? Seems like they really worked hard to deliver.
Complaints about android 8.1 in 3.2.1...
Also pajeets who installed million mods asking "how to inztal plz" in 3.2.1...
Sweet! Hopefully it'll teach my device soon
yes that O.... finally....
waiting for full rom....

Why use 14.4? there is 15.1 out. FWIW, I did use 14.x on Nitrogen OS running 8.0 on my previous phone, so I would say that it works. Just missing XPosed for Oreo.
