I think, it's fixed, because there is "Charge Controller" in "WHAT WORKS"
It takes 4 hours to charge from 40% to 100% :'(

Using this for a few days now. Overall smooth, but Instagram gets laggy AF. My charging is normal, but my battery life is awful, barely 3h SOT. Not sure why, on CM13 I was getting 4-5h SoT. Hope the development gets continued.
Am facing repeated unexpected rebooting of device any fix or ideas

Yes, it is true but for RN2.
Now we building 3.10.72 kernel for RN3. When the kernel will builded, then first of all we will build cm13 for our device.

You can check on 4pda or miui forum someone post the link for cm13, its alpha state no sim card and many more not working
And the most important thing - Sharp (and possibly Boe_s) display drivers are currently missing, CM13 wouldn't even boot if you have any of those
I noticed from a bit of light use you cant change the brightness and functionality of capacitive buttons and also the notification light does not appear to function at all? Otherwise great!

You can install Xposed as usual with TWRP or FlashFire
this rom is by far the best & smoothest custom rom ever made for note 3 mtk with decent battery life. If they can't bring up something new, please help us by fixing the bugs of this rom & giving more stability to it.

AOSP is working as great as MIUI except for Goodix scanner. Even 4G on both sim cards is possible. My last use of it was in May 2016 and at the time I could reach 7h of SOT on AOSP and 6h on CM12. This ROM lacks themes and customization completely, you're stricted to Xposed modules

Latest release of the cm12.1 will be in November, it is necessary to complete a couple of things...
Then I start to develop only cm13.0.

Thank you. It has a few bugs. There is no phone reception to call and texting. My device error : the process android.process.media has stopped; and : Google Play Sevices has stopped. Sounds very bad when playing music. Hopefully next update Will fix those bugs. Thank you very much.

I have a real big problemm

To turn off your phone completely hold all of it's buttons for 15 seconds
To boot into recovery hold both Vol + and Power and release the power button only at Mi logo
Reflash to CM12.1 and wait patiently for a new build with Sharp and boe_s drivers included

OS seems to be stable, no freezes or crashes so far... BUT the CPU is bevaving weird sometimes which causes lag to happen.
In case someone is wondering, AnTuTu Score: 61k

Very good ROM, tested on a Le 2 Pro, moving OK, no freezes, battery ok, not significant higher consumption than the original rom. The only problem is camera. For pictures ok, no problem, but for movies, impossible to use, not even with Footej. And if I try to view a film in gallery, the whole phone freezes.
Anyway, this ROM is a huge improvement compared to original EUI! Thanks alot!
By the way, it needed a full wipe on TWRP, it does not installs on top of old OS (error 7 in TWRP). After full wipe (without reboot!!!!!!, or you risk to brick your phone (well, no big problem, there is an unbrick kit on this forum)) it installs properly.

I download source and make patch in magiskpolicy and then start build. Now we have fully working magisk for my roms based on adnroid 7.1.2.
Installation:
download and copy to internal storage Magisk-v15.1.zip

Installation
Backup your files on PC and backup your apps using Titanium Backup
Push ROM.zip to the root of your SD card/memory
Check your bootloader status
Boot in TWRP
Wipe Cache, Davlick, System, Data
ATTENTION! Go to Advanced->File Manager. In File Manager go to sdcard and delete Android folder and MIUI folder if you have one. Then rebot in recovery again.
Flash ROM.zip from your memory without anything else
Reboot to ROM. First reboot may takes 8-10 minutes. Pass the start settings.
Then, reboot in recovery n install GAPPS, root, xposed, etc.
Restore your apps using Titanium Backup
IMPORTANT THING! Mobile internet cant't work woth two SIMs. It is Redmi Note 2 Flyme's bug. Frotunately, You can fix it. How to make an Internet with two sim cards. So far the solution is. Select the tray with the sim card and insert it back, an alert will appear. Click on it and select "Data transfer" and the SIM card you need. All.

No, I wrote in the post, you must go to Advanced->FileManager. Then choose sdcard->Android. Then delete it and reboot into recovery.
How to pass safetynet in this ROM? Magisk does not work correctly
Thanks for this great ROM. I've been using for 1 day already and still testing. Overall okay, just I missed a lot the fingerprint ability from MIUI and other CM based ROM.

Has anyone tested Google maps while driving with this ROM yet? I cannot install this ROM if the problems with the accelerometer and the compass affects Google maps' reliability.
Also, why do all custom ROM for xiaomi redmi note 3 mtk have laggy scrolling problem?
After 2 days of testing, I changed to RR. Some of the reasons are:
1. Problem with proximity sensor, sometimes it is not working while using Wave2Wake. I have to wave a few times to wake up the screen.
2. Problem with orientation. Orientation keep on upside down while using Waze. It's not stable. Also problem while entering pincode from lock screen to home. It stayed in landscape mode although set to portrait.

Several Days using this ROM,
1. Sometimes, camera apk force closed/crash after taking/shoot pictures/video.
2. Sometimes, touch screen unlock display didn't respond/worked after standby a long period while didn't connect network (wifi/data) to close must reboot the phone
3. Playing video or open pictures in full mode screen sometimes rotating self (Gyrosensor?)

Edit: Tested the rom myself and it was pretty amazing to see the smoothness of this rom, there is no issues which i have mentioned below and is best Pie rom I tried till now! Go ahead and flash it guys.
Thank you for the rom but I need to see a review of this rom before I flash. All the Pie roms i have tried has issues like 1. slow charging, 2. Battery drain/ low backup and 3. Heating issue.

Yes, there are many customizations available on "Superior Settings" section in "Settings menu". Also, System theme helps to change the looks of the ui. I have not still explored the fullest but this is the most stable Pie I tasted!

+1, even torch on QS doesnt work
Just installed this ROM, soon going to post a review and a lot of screenshots.
Installed this ROM about an hour ago. Here is the detailed review:
1. Boot up within 2 minutes(or max 3) just after flashing (no boot loops or waiting, nothing).
2. Just basic apps installed, though Messaging app is missing (see ss 2)
3. Camera app is not working (won't open) and am also not sure if it is gcam app(see the ss 12 for camera info and app version).
4. Tried to install another camera app from play store, but it's not working either(it won't even open).
5. Torch or flashlight is not working ( tried from status bar and also by long pressing power button when screen if off ( and obviously I enabled that feature from settings, see ss 11)).
6. Tried installing torch app from play store, but they won't even open. ( see ss 13)
7. 4G network is stable, not sure about VoLTE.
( Right now I have 1 SIM card only and that too is SIM 2, i.e. no SIM in SIM 1).
8. Bluetooth is working and Bluetooth headset as well.
9. Not sure about WiFi( don't have WiFi right now).
10. There are some customisations available.( See ss 6 to 11).
But there is nothing to customise in Recents Section (see the ss, it is just blank).( See ss 9)
11. Charging Speed is ok:
a) 31% charged in 40 minutes while not using phone. (39°C temperature)
b) 25% charged in 1 hr with mild usage( like using Google assistant or using Chrome or writing this review).
12. Battery backup and deep sleep yet to check.
Overall, ROM is smooth, no lags. ( Also no apps installed yet)
Magisk and kernel manager are yet to install.
SIM card selection pop-up is also there, everytime you reboot.
Battery backup is awesome, and 0% battery drain overnight (With mobile Data ON).

Please someone help me..This happens in every rom for me..After flashing any rom i get nice battery backup..But after charging above 90% and when battery stats resets the battery backup becomes worst..I am facing this in every rom..

Nothing special.
Just clean flash the ROM...did nothing else
Payment apps not working.(maybe because I installed magisk.
