@unsupported Would you try latest test build from https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/translation/test-build ?
CPU features detection is removed for Android-x86 ROM but I'm not sure if it will actually run since x86 codec is optimized for Intel Atom processor.

Yes, you was right. MX Player started, download x86 codec, and after that did not start. Log file is attached.
P.S. Can i configure MX Player to use some custom codec instead of those shipped with it?

MX Player uses many android internal modules to improve performance. MXPlayer Player will show this message if the modules not compatible.
They could have changed anything which has broken the compatibility. Without proper logs it can't be identified. Kindly use mx log collector & post the logs

Hi,
After installing CyanongeMod: 12.1-20150816-NIGHTLY-jfltexx sound is not working at all.
When any media are launched the app crashes. E.g youtube.com>play = Unfortunately, Chrome hs stopped, AudioFx : Unfortunately, Audio FX has stopped.
What Am I missing ?
Device Model : GT-I9505
BaseBand : I9505XXUFNA1
Version : 5.1.1
CyanongeMod: 12.1-20150816-NIGHTLY-jfltexx
Thanks a lot
It is a nightly build, and it isn't ready for daily use. I think that it is a media encoder problem, contact the rom developer

Hello Guys !!!!
I am an avid media consumer and like all of you I too love to watch videos on MX Player. This is a fabulous app but please add a feature so that we can move videos from one folder to another folder without leaving the app. For instance - If I've to move my YouTube video from " Downloads " folder to " YouTube " folder, I've to go to file manager and do that manually. It would be great if we can move videos within the app.
Thanks in advance and hoping to see this feature in MX Player soon.
Kudos to bleu8888 for developing MX Player !

Brother I tried installed Mixplorer and then added vlc plugin but when I open my video in Miplayer it doesn't play. The Player crashes and automatically closes. Tried installing and reinstalling. It still crashes.
By any means can we add that feature in MX Player by tweaking the app ?

Kindly do not post any patched version here.
There are lot of users who doesn't aware about the side effects.
Even though you have patched only codec, It will still prevent users from upgrading to new versions.

Sorry. It was a misunderstanding. I thought that it's patched version as you have mentioned t as patched.
Now, I have checked the package & It's basically a flashable zip with custom codec library instead of MX Official ffmpeg library.
Anyway it's quite old version & updating it will loose the ac3/dts support.
Note: Post Restored

Since failed attatch ac3/dts codes with latest mx player force close error
i think hw+ codes in latest devices support ac3/dts codes
all libs in latest mx is 0 kb
size of package is reduced to 15 mb to 9 mb
but old devices/custom roms has no much play power with new mx
note:- remove patch in post

Yes, it appears that you are using an older version of a custom codec by renaming it. Please use a custom codec built from the latest sources, and you shouldn't have this issue.
Yes I Am using now latest custom codec it is working now.
I have the same problem on my Xiaomi Mi Box S. I've downloaded latest custom codecs (v1.32.0) and installed them from here, but subtitles won't be displayed.

Thanks. That solved the problem!
To anyone who is facing the same problem. What I did is update the MX player pro. Though the update was not available on the playstore but I updated it from the official website. This problem is due to custom codec for me and for most of us. Just update somehow and use latest codec as mentioned above already by MXPlayer.
