Reminder App for Daily Work : Prompt
This app helps you create a reminder and alarm for any of your daily tasks with the option to periodically repeat them. There are a number of alarm and reminder apps used for daily tasks on play store but Prompt stands out. The beautiful Material UI of the app makes it the best available alternative among all other daily task reminder and alarm apps. We tend to forget a lot of things due to our busy lives, reminder helps us to complete all our tasks without fail. We need to wake up on time and alarm helps us do that.
In today's era, punctuality is the most important characteristic of all successful people. A punctual person is able to complete all his task on time. Students, Teachers, Politicians, Officials, Traders and the Farmers all have used prompt in order to win glory and success in life. Prompt helps you stay punctual and always on time by reminding you about what to do, when.
Punctuality brings in its trail efficiency. A punctual person commands the confidence and respect of others. If we look at the lives of all great men, we would realize that they had got a time schedule for every day. The Alarm feature of prompt will help you rise early in the morning and kick-start your day!
Those who have problems in waking up early, Prompt is the ultimate solution for you. You will never fail to wake up, ever.
Everyday routine provides a sense of structure and familiarity. Structure is a way of organizing your life so that it makes sense to you. You wake up with a sense of ownership, order, and organization of your life.
One of the more convenient reasons why prompt is important is because it negates the need to regularly remind yourself about what to do. You already know what you have to do each and every day. Once you are finished with a task, you already know what is next on your schedule. This structure provides direction in your life, enabling you to act instead of standing still because of a lack of direction or decision paralysis.
Another major reason for using this app for daily work is that it creates a routine. A routine is something that you do over and over again, eventually making it a habit. Once it is a habit, you do not need to think about it to act. The act of automation increases efficiency in your life, by enabling you to do things without consciously thinking about it. You will automatically get things done, without having to remind yourself to get things done. In this manner, you do not let anything slip and you save time by not having to decide what to do with your day.
Use Prompt daily to never miss out on any task!

Hi all,
We are developing free application for Android 2.1 (or more) named Progress Succes.
Short description:
This application can help you be successful! Add task and every day mark it as done or not. And a few days you can see the results! Simple and easy motivation tool for Time Management which can help to you achieve your goals.
For those who do not know about motivation tool in Time Management.
Consider you have a goal - learn Spanish. So you choose reading a book in Spanish as a method of learning, but you don't do it every day. Once you haven't enough time, once you lack enery after a long day. So you need something that stimulates you to archive your goal. You need something to visualize your process.
The simpliest resolution is a table which has tasks in its first column and dates in its first line. In a particular cell you put a mark showing did you execute your task or not. So you can track your progress.
How does it work?
You create an activity named "To read 3 pages" in the application. Every day you put a mark about executing this activity. You can put nothing if nothing should be done for the activity. So you report yourself about the work done. In statistic you see how your progress goes.
Current features are:
Add/Edit/Remove/Suspend task;
Change marker state on each day for each task. Three State are available (Done, Fail, Non);
Statistic is available for selected tasks;
Support multilanguage interface;
Help is available;
Nearest future plans:
Notification for some seelcted tasks.
For each task you can choose priority
Select a period for statistic.

Thanks, I've been looking for something like this for a while.
Currently I don't have an Android device so I cannot test this - sorry. Looking at the screenshots and features, it's pretty basic. As someone who has used this method for achieving goals, you need different types of tasks other than "done/not done". For example:
- How many pushups did I do today? (every day you put the number, and potentially define a set goal for each day. For example you set 50 as the goal and if you get to 50 the number is in green, if you did any pushups it's in black and if you did none you get an X)
- Did I floss both in the morning and before bed? (same task but two places to tick in the same day. Or n number of places to tick)
- I don't want to spend too much money on cigarettes/don't want to spend more than 2 hours on the computer (and you input the number of hours/money spent. For example, set 2 hours as the max amount of hours and if you put a higher number, you get a negative result for that day. Otherwise you get a positive)
None of these tasks are, of course, related to my real life )
There are probably more unique use cases I've found, I have to think about it.
Also the UI itself could be prettier IMO.
Good luck.
Neat! I'll try this one out immediately

Thanks for your recommendation! It's really important for us.
About more state of marks: The main idea of application - don't spend a lot of time for using it on day. Only one minute per day! If you done 49 pushups instead of 50 then - FAILE. You goal is not achieved
But if you really want to be able to do push-ups 50 times then create task - 20 push-ups. When the result is successful, then create new (or change the previous) task 30 push-ups etc... )) Divide your task

What a great app! its wonderful to see all the development using the digitizer cant wait for more!
While I applaud the create of a pen-centric planner app, and I think that there is a lot of potential behind this idea, I feel that there is still some room to grow before this weekly planner is mature to the point that I would adopt it for regular use.
Some of the features that make a paper planner book most useful as an organizational tool are the sense of perspective it gives about the upcoming days and weeks, and the ability to add future events quickly and easily so that they are not forgotten. The inclusion of a monthly calendar as a reference is another nice feature common to daily planners.
What I would like to see from Sunny WP is a more natural method of navigation between weeks and months. Rather than Next Week, Previous Week, and Go To Date, I think that an "outer" or "higher" visualization of a calendar would go along way to making this feel more like a planner and less like a portable whiteboard with lines on it. Flipping through actual paper pages is still the method to beat when it comes to any kind of book navigation, so an easy way to visualize all my past and future weekly plans is critical. A bonus feature would be integration with Google Calendar, displaying events on the side of each day, but that is more of a personal preference.
I won't go into depth about the monetization mechanism, except to say that restricting use of the prominently displayed undo button to the (non-existent?) deluxe version feels like the developer is trying to annoy me into upgrading rather than promising me a richer experience when I buy the app.
One technical/user experience issue I have is that the eraser has a much bigger brush than I expected, and that makes it hard to erase small mistakes within a tightly packed block of writing, without wiping out everything around it (and there is no undo feature to recover the lost notes...).

NominalValue - Thank you for the insight. I hear ya.
- "outer" or "higher" visualization of a calendar: That's something I think I would warrant as a 2.0. I do agree technology like this should reduce the friction for frequent actions like adding new events. It's interesting you mention this because the general feedback has been that a daily planner is more useful than a weekly one. After the daily planner, I was looking to do a monthly one. Think of a giant monthly calendar that you could pinch/zoom out to achieve this reduction of friction. Do you think that would work?
- integration with Google Calendar, displaying events on the side of each day: I would like to introduce Google Calendar but after some discussion, people like to default to one source of information instead of a hybrid cause of sync issues. As an alternative to Google Calendar, I was thinking more along the lines of telling you the weather for the week you are viewing. High/low temperature. Who knows, I need to do more research how I could bring in outside content. Perhaps empower users what they would want to see.
- Monetization: If you are annoyed, that's the goal. Rather than deliver enhanced user experience, the goal for the deluxe version is that provides 'relief' from obstacles in place. But there are other features bundled in there that other users may value like different colors or be able to blast their list via email or facebook.
- Page flipping is coming soon, it'll likely be the odd 3-finger swipe cause it's hard to figure out the difference between a 1 finger swipe and 1 finger panning the page.
- Giant Monthly Calendar: I could see that being useful, along the lines of what I do with my little desk calendar. One suggestion I have for this would be to implement a double-tap-to-zoom that auto-aligned to the day you tap on, rather than only having a free-form pinch/zoom/pan navigation method.
- Outside Content: I really like the idea of daily weather info with high/low temperature numbers, and a basic sunny/cloudy/rainy/snowy icon would be nice, too.
- Monetization: I get that you want and deserve to make money from your app, and however you choose to do that is your decision alone. But if I may give my admittedly novice advice, I think that different wording for your version names could go a long way in shaping customer reactions to feature limitations. Calling one version Basic and the other Deluxe brings with it expectations that the one is suited for everyday common use and the other is for the true planning enthusiast. That doesn't, at least for me, seem to fit with the particular feature sets you have chosen for the two apps. From my time with the app, I would describe the Basic version more as a demo, in the way that the app "LectureNotes," for example, has a feature-limited demo. That way, I know to expect limitations and my mindset is that I am evaluating the app with the end goal of buying the full version in the back of my mind. That's just my two cents in the topic.
By the way, I couldn't find the Deluxe version in the app store. Is it not released yet?
I like it, but would like the following in a future update.
1-When zooming on a page and you start to type, the resulting writing is not as fine.
2-I can't seem to keep the page from moving when resting my palm on it even using the lock feature.
3-pen/stroke size options needed.

Hey there,
I'm currently writing my thesis on "connection between context and creativity of persons" and made a simple note taking app for this. Every time you work on an idea (e.g. "How to get my cat to like me more") several contexts are collected (location and date) which will be send to a server for later analysis.
The long goal will be an app that supports you in your creativity and will notify you when you are in a similar creative context.
More info and the APK can be found here: http://apptest.willey.de
Thanks for your help!

Based on the description, you have me wondering why I need an app to tell me when I'm being creative. Or am I missing something? This is being asked because I'm curious, not to be argumentative.

Yes that sounds weird
Imagine a student who works on a project with some fellow students. And they are in the "Idea Phase" where everyone should collect some Ideas which will be discussed in the next group meeting. Everyone knows how this works. One hour before the next meeting we write down some ****ty ideas and that's it.
What could you do about this?
Set some fixed reminders like "Every Day at 8:00 pm, COLLECT IDEAS FOR PROJECT!!"
So every day at 8:00 pm you get a reminder no matter what your actual context is. If you don't feel like thinking about the project you dismiss the reminder and that's it
The goal of this app would be that it waits until you are in a similar situation (f.e. in a cafe, in a park, at home, in the evening, in the morning, on mondays, ...) and then suggests "Hey wanna think about your project?"
I hope I could make it a little bit clearer, english is not my native language
Your English is fine, in fact, while not prefect, better than quite a few native tongue, or fingers if you will.
So based on a calendar or location you can set reminders? Does it, or can it, tie into Google products such as: Now, Calendar or Keep?
Unfortunately ATM the app is purely for evaluation purposes to see if there are any patterns in usage or if creativity occurs just randomly. Developing a full App would be the next step if any patterns are found. Without patterns the "intelligent notifications" wouldn't make any sense I think
This almost sounds like the chicken and the egg argument. You need to find patterns before intelligent notifications, but without knowing when to prompt, how are patterns determined?
A typical note taking app like Keep, tied into a time keeper like calendar with the geolocation ability of Now would partially answer your issue. "Ok Google. Remind me to enter project ideas in Keep everyday when I get to work." Not sure Google now is quite there yet on its own, but there are things like AutoVoice with Tasker that would do those types of things now.

As for when creativity happens, it will probably be determined to be individualistic. Some will display randomly, some during sleep and wake up to record. Others may only be prompted by environment as opposed to scheduling like work (think song writers or authors).

The problem with "traditional" Solutions like Tasker/AutoVoice would be that you enter those notifications yourself. So you set notifications when you plan to be creative. My idea is to look at your past, find "creative highs" and notify you when you are in a similar situation.
Examples would be
--> Person X tends to work on his idea on mondays and fridays in the afternoon when he is at location X but never after 9:00pm.
--> Person Y worked on his ideas in a park nearby when the sun was shining
--> Person Z tends to work in cafes in the morning
...
To find these patterns (if there are any), is the first step. The next step would be to implement the intelligent notifications based on the users past behavior.
--> Welcome home, time to think about your Idea "Solve world hunger"
--> Hey look at the beautiful weather. Time to go outside and think about your "Cat Problem" ?
--> There are 5 Cafes nearby, time to think about "how to take over the world"?
So the agenda looks like this
Track users creativity to see if there are any patterns
Create notifications based on this
???
Profit

Tasker can be utilized and is utilized exactly as you have described. There are "assistant" apps/tasks that allow events to be kicked off automagically based on environment: location, light sensor, what WiFi you're connected to, time of day or day of week, etc.
I can have a task set that will turn on my WiFi when I get to work if it is Monday-Friday before 5p. It can also make sure to turn off my Bluetooth and kick off my time recording app. When i arrive home, a textthingsred off to my wife letting her know I'm home so she can add to my honey do list. These tasks run apps, turn things off and on all based on location and calendar.
I'm not trying to make a case for utilizing tasker and other apps to do what you're trying to do. Getting all of that stuff configured is not the easiest thing to do. Just mentioning it is possible and being done.
Now if you can have your app recognize patterns and trends in how people think (their creativeness), you're onto something beyond this university assignment.

I know Tasker but I think it is horribly complex and still you have to program it yourself when to notify you or do certain actions. For someone who is brainstorming on a project and just wants to be reminded from time to time Tasker might be overkill.
I don't want to analyze the users behaviour or analyze how people think. In the best case no data will leave the device because everything could be done locally (Get current locations type via Openstreetmaps, search similar locations, search current weather conditions, ...). For my thesis I just want to see if there are simple but interesting regularities like 90% of my users used the app in the morning, they rarely switched locations when brainstorming, .... Or in the worst case no patterns at all.

Something to think about, the 90% of the users that you talk about may only "be creative" in one or very similar ways and may not give you an adequate picture of the data you're trying to acquire.
Your app may only appeal to one segment of the creative audience.
It's already been shown that people learn in three different ways and many of those often blend two of the designations. Seeing, hearing and doing. Being creative isn't going to be any different, just look at the examples I've started before.
You're going to have to design your app with multiple interfaces that will appeal to different audiences. A robotics engineer, oil painter, song writer, dancer, marketing executive aren't going to think and record notes intuitively the same way.
Getting organized is on many a busy administrative assistant's to-do lists. But once you’ve set up systems to tame the clutter, staying organized can be a continual challenge. So how do you keep on top of your time and workspace while getting your job done? Well, as they always say, there's an app for that:
Search Google for - REMINDER APP FOR DAILY WORK: PROMPT
Trying using this app for your daily tasks then, almost to your own surprise, you’ll find that you are organized like you’ve never been before. And your goals, together with your new methods of determining them, will act as landmarks that will keep you on track.”
TL;DR:
I created an app that schedules your goals automatically at the best free time in your Google Calendar. This is a complete replacement to Goals that leaves Google Calendar tomorrow.
Android Download
iOS Download
Feel free to open issues on the app Github page. That would help me keep track of the issues
Background
I am using Google Calendar and Goals religiously. After Google announced that they’re removing Goals I started working on Goaly. For those who aren’t familiar, Goals used to be a feature in Google Calendar that allowed you to create a “goal” - something you want to do every x days or x times a week. It would then take those goals and automatically schedule them in your calendar based on your free time and other preferences. Once a goal was completed you could tap “Did it” to mark it as completed and keep a streak.
If this sounds great it’s because it is. It was a super handy feature I found myself using all the time to find time for my workouts, meditations and even calling my mom.
Unfortunately Google announced that they're removing this feature in November (as they do), so I decided to create it myself.
The goal of Goaly
Goaly is firstly meant to be a complete replacement to Google Calendar’s goals feature. That means that Goaly can
intelligently finds free time in your schedule based on your preferences
schedules goals automatically for you
keeps track of your goals
allows multi device support so you can view and manage goals from your phone/laptop/PC etc
Examples
I use Goaly to schedule time for my workouts whenever I have 2 hours to spare. I also use it to schedule meditations 5 times a week, call my mom once a week and do my studies twice a week.
