try connecting your device when booting twrp and windows explorer instead of adb push, it's far easier than having to work with command-line tools. if you really want to use adb, your phone is in the wrong mode. you can't push a file on it in sideload mode (as far as i know, correct me if i'm wrong) but only apply a zip file. to have it "long-term" on the device, you have to enable mtp mode, either by choosing "transfer files" from the notification slider when you can normally boot to your rom or as i said before by just booting twrp (fastboot.exe boot twrp.img)

[Q] Error flashing Android M

HI, Im trying to finally flash Android M on my Xperia M2, but when i write the command to flash, it stays forever with `waiting for deviceĀ“. I have searched and created a file to determine the access to my device when its in fastboot mode. Concretly, the file is called androidrules (not exactly, but it is his main name). I created the file with vi editor because it is the only tool that can be used to create it, and i have added the `rulesĀ“ for an xperia device with each id vendor and my user name, but it stays the same.
However, i have fastboot drivers installed and it detects my phone when i type sudo fastboot devices. I don know what happens....
Im using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit on VmWare Workstation.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE? :crying:

The root process or custom recovery on a Alcatel OneTouch SHINE LITE (No bootloader?)

Hello, and before I get into it, yes I have tried many ways. Using adb, using one of those root tools for PC and Android. Etc
And yes the bootloader is unlocked in developer settings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think the error is the bootloader
This is too see if we can find the bootloader on this phone.
I have tried "adb reboot bootloader" that just restarts the phone,
I've tried rebooting into recovery and selecting the reboot into bootloader option.
That again just starts the phone.
I also found that with the recovery menu adb option my pc does not recognise it, so maybe there is no drivers for the adb in recovery mode if someone could find drivers for that that'd be great :laugh:
I am currently stumped on my progress on this phone. And would like some help
I can not install ROM zenfone 5 A501
I am with a Zenfone 5 that was with intel screen problem.
I was able to reinstall DROIDBOOT, but I can not install the rom of the device.
When I go through the ASUS Flash Tool on the device the following error appears: E:failed to mount /factory (No such file or directory)
I tried the process via adb but when I give adb devices (command) the device does not appear.
I believe that there is little left for me to relive the cell phone, I have read a lot but nothing concrete, I hope you can help me.
Thank you all
can not be folder permission? How do I give permission for the folders?
Will it be that if I somehow do the "root mode" it will help me?
Thank you all.
Phone seems to be entirely bricked. Please help.
I have no idea what the issue is the result of, last night I tried to update my phones software, using the standard method of update, twrp script, magisk. For whatever reason the phone got stuck in a bootloop. I tried fixing it in TWRP to no success and looked up several methods to try and restore the phone. My phone is now stuck in fastboot mode. It cannot boot into recovery or EDL mode. Fastboot detects the device but ADB doesn't.
I've tried reflashing the stock recovery in TWRP.
Tried flashing the fastboot ROM, through CMD and the all in one tool.
I can't use the MSM tool as my phone won't go into EDL mode, through button command or through Powershell.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this ?
Bootloop after attempting to flash back to stock POST Magisk
So, I can't flash back to stock with my Metro G Stylus - I attempted and I get a fastboot error trying to write to single partition
Fastboot reports after trying to flash with RSA tool below...
No Bootable A/B slot
Failed to boot Linux, and then falls back to fastboot.
Here's my phone
And RSA is NOT actually helpful in this case.
I think I need to "undo what I did to get Root", except for locking the bootloader. But, I got a bootloop now, so...... how?
Standard recovery, and fastboot works as well.
Anyone got any idea? I gotta return this device, but it *only* needs to be able to turn on and boot, I believe.
