P900 is a Exynos device while N9005 is not. N900 is the Exynos one and maybe some dev can make the job to port it.

Well spotted Andrew,
I copied and pasted the ROM from Sammobile, what went wrong I don't know but is should have been the N900XXUEBOA6 ROM for the Exynos.
Now I have given you the right information, anyone know if the N900 ROM will work on the P900?

On the P901 (exynos), the radio module is different but everything else is the same as the N900 (exynos), although the system board revision for the N900 is 0.60 and the P901 is 1.20.
The problem could be with the lollipop boot loader. I believe it is needed to boot lollipop. If it is installed and does not boot, will you be able to get into download mode to re-flash the kitkat boot loader?

5.1.1 reached russia for exynos variant of neo. I have download the same firmware for russia and flashed on my indian note 3 neo and its awesomeeeee... feeling refreshed. Still development seems pending . Battery drain is quite quick. Love the new notification shade. Multiwindow features have got a new overhaul with note 5 type features. Air command has now got the smart select option with can scan texts as well. Wow. Just amazing

but i will do some ports later on. i will start by porting galaxy a8 launcher which is the newest one of tocuhwizhome

we need to get a recovery fisrt
hoping that there will be twrp soon otherwise i will try rooting it with some windows roottools and than flash this cwm .img which should work

Was just causally checking Dev forums of Note 3 yest. and phone seems to have solid ROM ports such as Aurora,DarkLord etc with almost all features of Note 5 including the camera (with few bugs here and there).
Wish there was similar Dev. scene here for Note 3 Neo . Wouldn't mind contributing some time for testing and few $$

remember J5 is running on a snapdragon 410 which is a popular and widely used cpu
therefore there are many devices wih a stable CM so porting a stable 1 is easy.
just like J7 snapdragon version. they can easily get stable CM
as for exynos... thats a samsung processor and powers like 5 6 samsung's??? relax we have to make our CM piece by piece

I prefer CM 13 for J7 because it's more recent and it has more options. If you can port it I and a lot of people who want CM will be very greatful

Samsung S5 Neo ?? that cousin of ours shares the same chipset and gpu as our J7. So I assume porting the LOS is possible.

Yeah I'm super interested in a Lineage OS Build for the J7 2015's,I'm currently on OSKiller v2 Final Port for my J7 Exynos 7580 (MetroPCS)
My old and very underpowered phone compared to J7, Galaxy Grand Prime has LineageOS 16 almost stable even though dev and people are abandoning that device. Seeing J7 not having LOS 16 is quite disappointing.
