Hi i just buy mi gear s3 frontier and it was all ok when i set up everything but then i update the watchs and all the names of the apps starts with WDS_ .... so i hope anyone can help me with this problem, i have photos but i dont know how to upload then here thank you.

Anyone have luck with using a gear s with a none Samsung phone? Or running android wear on a gear s??
Would love to get a non Samsung phone soon and still be able to use the watch. Pretty much only use the watch for GPS apps to run.

Purchased Gear S2 in China recently for a good price. Paired it easily to my HTC One M8 but Gear Manager after cannot connect to the watches. This is the first problem.
Second is that i would like to reflash it to US English firmware, where i can download it ? I believe i can do this with NetOdin.
Anybody can help with both problems ?

I have a problem ưhen I connect my HTC M8 with an gear s2..
Ít stuck on Connecting to Gear Screen.
My phone can pair easy with S2 but it stuck in Gear manager app.
Can anybody help me?
Tried reinstall Gear app and restart my fone thousand times.
Would like to bump this.
I'm facing the same problem with my Note 4 (910C, 5.1.1, Rooted) and Gear S2 Classic.
Tried every possible solution that comes to my mind. Would really appreciate if someone comes up with a solution

You have to install 3 apk from google play:
1. samsung gear
2. samsung gear plugin
3. samsung accessories service
It works with my Xiaomi Mi4.
Recently got this watch and now i got severely annoyed with my S6 edge so i got me a new Lumia 950XL. Now I am trying to link devices anyone got any ideas? Amazing that tizen hasn't got support for all the mobile OS'
Please help me out guys I don't want to have to change this watch too I was quite happy with the watch.

It's not compatible : search "device compatibility samsung gear s2" on google and click the first link. (I can't give you the link because my account isn't old enough on this forum.)
Hi all thomas from denmark here. I have a few questions. I hope you can help me. I would like to know the best app for remote control off my camera via my s3 gear. And one more question. Is it possible to see the battery leven on my phone (charging) via my s3 gear
