So this is supposed to be the experimental ROM for testing new kernel? 3 nougat ROMs by you now. I've flash it and so far have not experienced any issue.

No problem here (Eastern US). Likely a regional AFH problem. Try again later.

No, this is the Easter egg build I did and originally posted in the lineage-14.1 thread. Thought it needed its own home.
More to come.
So which rom do you recommend? I just care about stability and battery life.

To be honest, they all seem very stable. My favorite of the nougat ROMs so far is Slim7. It seems much leaner but still feature complete.
LineageOS-14.1 might be better for you as I am not modding the kernel for that one.
Thank you for your roms, everyone work pretty good! I am in CM13.1 in my Thor because of the camera, work the brightness correctly in any of these new releases?
It woroks good.
I have been on this build for a few days, no problems yet. WiFi has been solid. Great job.
Will celluar data work with this rom?

WiFi stability on this device can be problematic in mixed signal environments, especially if 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals eminate from the same AP/router. It's largely ROM independent although 4.4.x (KitKat) based builds appear to be more immune. The best known remidy is to kill the 5 GHz source although that obviously isn't practical in most environments.
Please note this is a hardware/kernel issue that can not be easily 'fixed' at the ROM development/customization level.
Thank you sou much for you efforts . It's my favourite rom on Apollo.

Yup, I've got this too, I have to switch it off and on again after waking up from a long sleep.
Just want to say thanks, @ggow. The ROM runs very well on my Apollo. Occasional Wi-Fi disconnects after sleeping, but not a big deal. I really like the OMS support. I don't see OMS support for Lineage-based ROMs that much. Actually, this is the only one I know of. Anyway, nice work. Thanks for helping to keep this device alive and customizable.
I keep getting an error for no mirrors found (lineage-oms-14.1-20170810-UNOFFICIAL-thor.zip) on AFH, is the download broken?
EDIT: Nevermind, I guess the site was being weird. Hopefully flashing over normal LineageOS shouldn't cause too many problems!
EDIT 2: Flash went great, ROM runs great, keep up the great work! Just had to reflash SU and make my build.prop changes again.
EDIT 3: Turns out I currently have an issue, the internal storage meter always reports the same free space. Not sure what's causing that but after freeing up many gigabytes of data it still reports the same number (but the storage space running out notification went away after doing so). This can be seen through the Settings menu and different apps that can report the free storage space (in this case, ES File Explorer Pro). Only modifications I've made are to the build.prop (qemu.hw.mainkeys=1), flashed SuperSU + Pro, flashed opengapps mini for 7.1, installed a Substratum theme (but I'm not sure if this was the cause or not), and installed AdAway. It seemed to be fine up until the storage space got low, then once the notification came up the number has been stuck every since. It shows that around 8.6GB is being taken up by "Other", most of which I have already cleared.
EDIT 4: And it might just be me, but alarms don't seem to have any sound or wake the tablet up from sleep, and yes I've checked the volume levels and notification priorities.
good work,thanks

A new ROM for Surnia. That's great, I'm downloading and I will test it. Good job
Tested the ROM just now, layer is working great, no white to white text, no black to black text (so far), xposed worked as it should be. Are you going to add slim recent on the next following builds?
Thanks for the review

Currently I am just focussing on fixing LTE issue on the Sprint variant (XT1526). If you have noticed, there is no camera, browser etc in this build. I will add those too and will see whether this rom can adapt to slim recent.

I didn't notice them actually, it okay to me if it wouldn't be added to the ROM for now, take ur time bro, the good thing is surnia now have 2 stable ROM w/ layer support :good:
This ROM it's like a SlimROM with the camera gesture and the slim layer feature. Amazing, thanks for your work! Working flawlessly on a XT1527! and keep it working
Downloaded chrome from play store, installed aosp messaging, moto camera and gallery from stock 5.1 and so far I can't find any faults ... Default CDMA is showing Boost and LTE is a go.

I suppose LTE problem is only with the sprint version. The main cause of the problem is the use of proprietary RIL blobs which is compatible to only few variants. Yesterday, I did a series of tests on my device by making different changes to RIL blobs.
First, I switched proprietary RIL blobs from current one to sprint specific one. I lost my network after doing this change. This made me realise the problem that occurs from these proprietary blobs.
Then, I removed the proprietary ones and switched to CAF. I noticed that after making that change, I lost the entire data connectivity and got lots of error messages on debug.
I saw Seraph08 changes here https://github.com/Seraph08/android...mmit/884cd57eb79f81f3a4094b1c5566c5063f0e2e0f and I have added those changes in my build. I am yet to test these changes.
I have two ideas for fixing the sprint variant:
1. Work on CAF and fix the problem by making custom RIL class (is this necessary? )
2. Make an entry in the releasetools to build separate the variants's proprietary

I have a silly question: Can you send a Logcat when you register network to your mobile network? I mean, go to Mobile Networks, then to network operator, register your service provide and logcat all that process? It could have some information about this issue, i don't know really, but it's just a test

Hello:
excellent ROM, it shows quite worked, I found the following bugs:
calls with Bluetooth do not work, only multimedia works.
Performance can improve.
4G / 3G connectivity can improve.
for now it's everything.
best regards
Very good ROM, have been testing it tonight and have not encountered any major bugs as of yet.
Slight things I've picked up on:
- During boot, you can hear the sound as if the ringtone volume has been changed (the noise when you adjust volume, aka the slight bleep)
- Compared to LOS 15 there seems to be a little discrepancy in terms of low level performance, I notice this ROM seems to have a few slowdowns in heavy usage and is a tiny bit stuttery.
Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to any upcoming updates!
cool, another 8.1, really hope we skip 8.0 to 8.1 like we did with nougat

There is a bug with YouTube, usually it doesn't work regardless of resolution.
We just have to wait for fix, probably YouTube app itself, not the rom.

GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Moto E 2015 LTE, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES

Sounds like you broke your phone. I be mean you tried different roms with same results either restore to stock and see if it's something low-level you messed with or get new phone If it's VoIP you are using then might be mixer path issues. First try a magisk module. Or use Google to learn about editing it. Honestly though you need to be more specific when it happens. What caused it. Anything besides something so general. It like saying my tires are broken. Yes the car is down and there is issue with tires but why what ect. Is a there a nail? It's it flat? I think the speaker and mic are part of the same module in this phone. So sounds like hardware issue. Do you have mods like sauron/viper/Dolby?
Note: Post it in one place. The best being where you lost the use in the first place. Then get logs.

I did not not test between the two on this device.l, but I have done yesterday on at least he 6 different phones and crdroid was always better for battery life. RR might get more updates though. Tried the rom yesterday, and actually it doesn't have any lockscreen shortcuts yet (middle nor bottom). Also there isn't a 4g/LTE button in quick settings (maybe it's possible to get it with tasker or other apps).
If the rom isn't "go", is there some other reason why split screen doesn't work? I would really love to use this function on a pie rom for surnia.

You can set a low ram flag. I think some kernel managers have it, you can look up how to do be it manually, I know for sure lspeed has that option. Only thing it does is allow you a different app set and a bit different memory management. If it's built to it though it's different I think. Different system apps and Google apps like assistant.

There are a couple of wishes for a future update:
- try another core, because LOS17 is now the most unstable version of Android 10 for our device.
- Use 8.0 fingerprints to pass SafetyNet so that GPAY works without unnecessary manipulation.

For me getting very good battery backup of around 4 hours sot and nice idle drain. The best i have been getting in long time. Snappy rom with no bugs.
Nice job.
Hello why the rom isn't in the official website of pixel experience ? And is there the navigation gestures enable ? The interface is the same as the pixel experience based on android 10 for the others phones or not ?

Can you explain the issue with double tap to wake? Works fine for me.
Making it more responsive would probably increase idle battery drain, so I would prefer not to change it.

It's not on the official website, because these are not official builds.
Gestural navigation is pretty much broken if you don't tinker with build.prop manually. Seems to be an issue on another devices aswell that have hardware buttons (like Xiaomi Mi 5 etc).
Yes, everything is the same like for other phones that run this custom ROM.

Hi,
I really appreciate the work you guys are doing.
I just had a minor issue. Can I update to the new build from the previous December build without losing data. I tried the ota but it put me into twrp and didn't do nothing
Awesome, finally here comes a new maintainer to save my favourite ROM. I'll switch as soon as it goes official.

why use this rom when pixel experience exists?
i dont get why there are like 1000 different pixel roms and most of them are ultra buggy
just put all your work into one project and baam it will be the best rom

Its because most people want to be a developer and need fame or attention or whatever. But this wont be one of those builds IG
Yeah, there are some bugs
- BT audio didn't work
- Xiaomi Parts is causing some issues as well. But other than that no issues.
I tried to fix the bug, but then found this is a source issue, and January patch will be merged soon, so will be fixed with that IG. Anyway, thanks for posting your opinion. Posting these after trying the ROM will be appreciated, Anyone can talk bad about anything, right?
I ran 100 builds or more, to adapt trees and fix bugs, and this is like the best output, that I'd like to use. I need no fame and just sharing what I use (Private builds)
I'll try to do better builds in the future
Is app lock available in this ROM? Thanks
