Hello. I am new here and I got S7 edge. I like record videos on my phone, but I think S8 have better camera what I see on youtube videos comparison.
Are some app, rom or something te get better quality videos? I just try Zero Mod but I don´t like it.
It is possible to have OIS + EIS on 4K + only little bit flatten profile on S7 edge? Just like S8 in youtube´s video named: "SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 vs S7 Camera Test Comparison! (4K)"

Well dear friends, i was willing to buy a Note 5 because a lot of features, but one in specific that i like it is when recording a video in Note 5, then in the screen appears a little light bulb to control the brighteness during the video record.
So today i found a real good price deal in S6 and i bought it (over the internet). Then later i went to a Samsung store and played with S6 thinking about the same camera sensor and all, and i didn't saw that light bulb option while recording video, and i really don't like dark videos (i have a S5 and some of then is like crap).
So, did the S6 have this option in any way? Maybe with a different third part app or in a new update?
Hello, yesterday I start recording my first time-lapse video with Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I was suprised how good can S7 Edge shoot everything without laggs, and especially shooting against the light and reliable color reproduction is no problem :good:
PS: In the video I also have added some of the epic music so I hope that you will enjoy it

Here is my comparison test between S7 Edge and the S5 in the night comparison (completly dark).
The S7 Edge is using Isocell sensor. And the results are awesome!

Galaxy S5 is still got good camera. IF YOUR looking for a bargain
In my opinion, the S7 Edge is a lot of better. I think, that videos will be in 80% the same (because S5 have good lowlight manage too, isocel sensor and more...), but when I saw the results (how you can see on my video) I stay amazed! I don't think that differences between this two phones can be so big.
Hi, could someone compare mis5s plus to samsung (s6 or s7) camera. I want change my old s6, because I want bigger screen and good battery, but in Internet I found ambiguous comments about mi 5s plus camera. I like s6, because, it's fast, good image quality in dark rooms and etc, very good for me, because I take a lot pictures with my kids.

I'm sorry I don't have any samples for you, since I don't own a galaxy s6. However, one of my relatives owns a galaxy s7 and I can clearly tell the quality difference. Even with the mi 5s plus' dual camera photos, the quality will still be average. In low light, it is a decent performer, and usually the camera needs plenty of light in order to capture a decent shot. However, I can definitely say that the samsung galaxy s7 shoots much better photos, even in low light. If you really care about the camera and don't have a tight budget, I suggest you go for the samsung.

Did the original poster get this phone? Are you happy with its camera quality?
I am thinking about picking up an unlocked AT&T S8+. I know that the phone isn't as wide as an s6 edge plus but it is a little longer. Does the long skinny screen distort or stretch out movies? Are games stretched?
By default, videos will play with the expected aspect ratio with black bars to fill in the space. Both YouTube and the Samsung video app have an additional full screen button that forces the video to fill the entire panel. I have never noticed any distortion of the video in this mode.
Thanks for the info. I saw one on display and I was a little surprised at how much better the display was than the on on my s6 edge+
I came from the S6 edge plus as well, and that was an impressive display. Look up "4k video" in the YouTube app and make sure that the resolution is at 1440 when a video starts playing. Do the original full screen, and then look for the expanded full-screen button. It is mind-blowingly beautiful.
Oh, and the S8 plus is only about 1mm bigger in either direction. The phone fits perfectly in the holster case that I had for the s6 edge plus.
