Galaxy s7 battery temperature too low... - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Dear XDA'er,
My Samsung Galaxy S7 had a little problem with water recently... Since then the phone is telling me that the battery temparature is too low. The battery is so low that it doesn't turn on anymore.. Display is working. I've tried a new charging board, new battery and now I'm out of options I think.
Some of you got any ideas?
With regards,
Jochem

Battery protection ?

Hi All,
I bought a Nexus S yesterday and upgraded it to Android 4.0.4 but today i noticed my battery was 2%. From what i know Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Desire devices had some kind of protection that would shut down the phone @ 5%. Does the Nexus S not have a function like this ??? will the battery not be damaged ???
Best Regards,
Shuts down nearing the lower end of 1%.
Ah so it's normal for this phone, didn't know that
Thanks for your post.
Yeah it's normal. It won't give you warning immediately before it does it, it'll just start shutting down sometime at 1% in general and you can't do anything about it by then. Such a low charge can shorten the life of the battery if it stays that way for extended periods, particularly in heat. Generally nothing to worry about.
This topic made me realise i haven't really seen my phone shut down due to low battery its more than a year now

You can run a lithium ion battery down to zero - it's overcharging and heat that are truly detrimental to battery service life.

[Q] problem with the battery of Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung Galaxy S6 Charging Problem

Hi, guys!
After updating my phone to 5.1.1 I now have a weird scenario when charging my phone.
I would let my phone die, and then when I charge it I would switch it on when it gets to round about 10%. Upon start up my battery display in the notification panel will say around 50-60%?! I'm really confused. Is there a way I can reset this? I have tried cycling the battery but that hasn't solved it.
Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks,
Paul.
afaik its not good to leave the battery go below 5%
i always try to keep my battery between 40% and 90%
after an os update it takes a couple of weeks for the new os to adjust itself to the battery and the more you use it the better it will predict the remaining battery level
I have issue with battery charging too. When i plug it charging is fine ,but when i get phone on my hand to use Then stop charging like 10-20 mA from 1100 mA. Any suggestions?

Samsung s6 Charging without battery

Hello, i got a s6 recently and the next day i bought it was dead. I thought it was a battery issue, so i changed it, but the battery expanded and it really didnt worked out. The phone just turns on while charging. I tried disconnecting the battery and still shows around 70% while charging. Any help?

Galaxy S7 replacement battery.

Hi everyone.
My S7 (flat) is just after battery replacement.
Old battery health was at 69% after 2 yrs (SoT 4hr)
New battery shows 72% which is weird, cause its new battery but there is more.
Genuine battery capacity in flat S7 is 3000mAh, now it shows I have 3600mAh, but it doesnt seem to improve battery life at all.
Im just after reinstalling SupermanRom v3.0.1 so will check SoT in a while.
How the 3600mAh, new battery, lasts same as 3000mAh 2yrs old worn battery on same phone setup?
Any ideas?
The Rom must be based on the S7 edge that's why you're getting a 3600 mah battery.
Same ROM in exact same setup was showing 3000mAh with old battery.
