Hi Honor 8 users,
Just want to share my grief about a recent issue that popped out.
Currently my Honor 8 is with Build Number FRD-L02 C675 B330.
I'm facing a weird problem with earpiece. As and when there's call to attend, I have to press it really hard to listen to the speaker who called.
Is there any similar issues you faced? Any workarounds you can suggest me?

I've downloaded a free app called speaker boost and set it to 10% and my phone is perfect in volume now
Did you try rebooting? This is the first aid in every problem.

I have around 21 apps that were allowed to show dropzone.
Can I disable them all??

Rt now im searching in my office for earbuds.. To clean that dirt from earpiece..

Yes,also if it is not sloved just Give to Service Center they will fix it ( if it was a hardware issue )

It does not push it deeper. I have faced the same exact problems few months ago, and the only thing that helped was cleaning earpiece with toothbrush

I've got the file on my internal storage and hboot isn't picking it up.. Am I missing something? .. Wait, has to be on an external SD... I knew that..

I could probably re-host with OPs permission.. but I can't find my damn microSD card so I can't tell if things are better or not.. The 2014 version of Needle in a haystack?

Just flashed via hboot, it does seem to boot faster. Maybe the sound is better, I can't tell. But prior to flashing I had installed the HK MOD from @santod040 nusense thread. I'm going to go back into hboot and see if the adsp from this zip flashed over HK adsp
Edit: still has the HK ADSP in the hboot, it is definitely a faster boot than prior. Good job @sun_dream

From your mobile device click the link. Enter the password 56zb I n the obvious area, then hit the button next to it. It will take you to another page with a orange button, a blue button, and a down arrow under one of the buttons. But the down arrow

It definitely sped up the boot with sinless. I'm sure it'll be much more noticeable with 4.4.3 sense roms.
Edit: Signal was a lot more erratic. Went back to stock firmware.
Insert coin svn120 same long boot up, no obvious difference.

When taking multiple photos in a row around 4 or more. I can't charge phone when off either it will just reboot and yea on stock it will charge when phone is off.
Am I able to flash with Android 5.0 Gapps? Or do I have to stick to 4.4.4?

I've used your rom and yes the phone will turn back on when off and you try to charge. Have the same issue with the mahdi rom.

Yes i have flashed this but does'nt solves the display flickering and dim colors got when u pull down notification panel and it temporary solves when u pull down notification and uncheck auto brightnes then colors got fine but after again lock unlock device this issue again came ... I think this bug is not related with systemui its roots are somewhere else

Hey there, so yesterday my N5 wan in idle and when i checked it Wifi symbol was showing an "x" next to it then i tried disabling and enabling it but it didnt want to enable wifi. So i made a search on Google about that issue and saw that by deleting /persist/wifi folder would solve the problem but i deleted the whole /persist folder by mistake. After that i searched about restoring /persist contents and i successfully restored /persist/wifi and /persist/Bluetooth folders and contents but that didnt help about the wifi issue... Today wifi managed to revive by its own for some secs but then it wouldnt load a page and tried re enabling it again but it stuck again. Bluetooth would partially work i can pair my N5 with other devices but it would restart every now and then and show up an "Bluetooth share has crashed" message, it also takes time to activate. So my question is if its a software or hardware problem and how can i fix it? I really need some help as my N5 is my daily driver and wifi is a must. Thanks in advance
Update: i just replaced with a friend's motherboard and ill use it temporarily...but its a 16GB version >.< Any help would be appreciated though

I live in INDIA and I'm using Nexus 5(32gb) but I don't know why I'm only able to use 12.55gb of it...I went to the LG's mobile centre and their answer is I have to change my MOTHERBOARD...I just read out your comment about fixing your friends MOTHERBOARD...can you help me in my situation...please let me know...!!

I didnt fix my friends motherboard he just didnt use his N5 as its screen is broken and gave me his working motherboard thats it. Do you happen to use custom rom?

Try flashing the stock firmware (tot file) with lg flash tool and check if theres any difference
Please help me. Custom firmware was installed and after a reset the touchscreen stopped working. Re-flashing to the stock does not help. Sim version
