I'm trying to root my tablet, which is in Android 5.1.1.
I tried Kingoroot, I tried Kingroot, I even tried the computer app, but they did not work.
Without putting a new ROM, how can I do it?
Still no help. Do I really have to make a quick reply to my own thread if I want someone to help me?
STILL no help. Why I cannot get help?!?

I have been unable to root the Pandigital Supernova. I've tried everything I can find on the net to accomplish this, but I've had no success. I've tried the Gingerbreak.apk, OpenNova-ROOT-Spz0-v.1.0.update, and the market-3.0.26-update - all to no avail.
Could someone please explain how to root this device? I'd appreciate any suggestions /help. The tablet came with the IR80_S_BN_W_F_B_09282011 Firmware, and I tried all mods I could find on that version. Then I upped the FW to the new IR80_S_BN_W_A_A_12152011 version, repeated the attempts and still was unsuccessful to get SU. I really would love to get Google Market on the device, primarily to get a Netflix viewer but also for other 'sandbox' things to play with.
Help, please.

Hello I don't know if I can ask here but I can't root my device. I have tried almost everything, from the apk's and even on my laptop. I have a Lenovo A816 running on 4.4.4. I just got this phone, I'm actually an Apple user but my iPhone is being repaired right now. It's safe to say I don't know anything about Androids. I've looked all over google for guides on this phone but nothing comes up. I really want to uninstall some of these system apps. Every time I play music from Spotify or Deezer the app crashes. I've tried King root, Vroot' iRoot' framaroot, oneclickroot. I've literally tried everyone one of them to no avail. When I switched to my laptop, I used Kingo Root and it said root was successful but when I tried root checker it said my root is not installed properly, so no root again. Is there anything I can do to
Thanks

So I rooted my phone using Kingoroot. When i decided to unroot I used the same software to unroot, Kingoroot. However, the programas would not let me unroot. Now I have tried many different programms. Some actually work, but when I reboot, my phone gets re-rootes. I have also tried deleting the su files (via terminal and file explorer) but it wont be deleted. I am starting to get really frustrated, all help is extremely appreciated! Im advance, thanks!

Greetings,
In order for anyone to help you, you must provide your device model specifications.
Thanks.
This phone is a bit crammed with system apps & rooting would make the phone so much more useful to me but I just can't seem to get it done. It's android version 7.1.1. I've tried everything; interestingly enough when using kingoroot on PC, it said the rooting was successful yet, the phone remained unrooted. I'm having a hard time figuring out what went wrong. The mobile apps kingroot and kingoroot do not work and kingroot pc version also does not work. This is bugging me, I need some help ASAP

Nope, unfortunately. So frustrating, I gave up
Did you tried to unlock bootloader first and apply the root tools after?
So first i've unlocked the bootloader. Now, i'm currently in recovery mode, and /system can be mounted from there. Is there anything I can do to root this? Preferrably with a PC.
EDIT: Actually, all i did was turn on OEM Unlocking. The phone doesn't want me to unlock the bootloader.
