Hi there
So I'm thinking about buying a Pixel and I've searched a bit around the net and it seems the phone (bought unlocked ofc) will work 100% in Denmark but it would be nice to hear from someone else from Denmark if it truly does work 100%
Thanks
I'm quite sure that Pixel from us works in Denmark. But I'd like to recommend that you buy the phone in Germany near Denmark.

Look for a Google Play one that the bootloader can be unlocked if you can. That way no carrier restrictions will be on the phone and you can flash different firmware to match whatever carrier you will use in Denmark. I don't think they are different hardware wise but you definitely want on that can be unlocked and rooted even if you do not root.
I have a stock Verizon pixel that I use in Denmark with a project FI sim on the local networks. Works flawlessly.

Ah that's cool, have you tried with any Danish carrier sim cards? Cause I think I'm gonna keep my CBB sim ?
I would like to confirm that a Pixel XL indeed does work in Denmark yay

Just wondering is there are any Aussie users of the G Pro 2?
Obviously its not available here, and the grey imports only work on the Optus network
They are so cheap at the moment - wondering if I should just get it
It's a great phone, I brought mine off becextech. I've got my 32gb black model running pretty well on Telstra. The problem is if you wanna do customisation (you will want to with this phone) you can't due to all its restrictions. I think you should do a little more searching around because it's not perfect.
Thabks for the heads up.. Do you regret getting it?

Yeah sorta, the 3G/hspa bands that Telstra uses in rural areas arent supported on the G Pro 2, or at least my D838 model.

Good to know - Im still unsure , as I would only ever use it on Optus , which works perfect
Maybe try sell yours on gumtree and go for the G3?

I might just steer clear of phones with stupidly secure bootloaders because I can't stand not being able to flash a file through TWRP
Since today, can be purchased from motorola Mexico, starting from $5,999.00
Anyone in Mexico want to help me buy one and ship to the US?
Can anyone confirm the Moto X Play sold in Mexico is the dual sim version? It's unbelievable how confusing Motorola's model # and specification pages are.

The Moto X Play in Mexico has dual nanoSIM, model XT1563
The mexico model should be good to go here in the states and be unlocked. I would also be interesting in a 32gb model. If someone has an address in mexico we can ship to and then ship it back to use here...thats all we would need

Is that because you have one in hand or just from the motorola.mx website? I chatted with the motorola latin america support and they said at the moment only the single sim version is available. If you go through motomaker it makes no mention of dual sim, nor in the any of the description content. You only see dual nanoSIM in the specs.

Yes I remember. I was going to get one from you but decided against it because of the hardware buttons. Atleast in Mexico we also have full access to the 32gb model and moto maker. It is the best option and if you can hook it up I know many people will be happy

I already have it since thursday, and also I already used it in the US with a T-Mobile nanoSIM and on AT&T using a Telcel nanoSIM, in both cases I got 4G. So I can confirm that this phone has dual SIM

Yes I'm willing to try! The Mexican version is exactly what I'm looking for since it's not tied to any carrier and it will get updates directly from Motorola.

The experience with T-Mobile was really good, this phone has AWS band for T-Mobile 3G and all the bands in LTE for T-Mobile and AT&T, and even some Chinese LTE bands, and I guess this phone is really good for a backup phone, I still love my Nexus 6, but this phone holds his ground pretty good.

I got an invitation by Motorola, so when they announced the availability of this phone, also was available a few units for us at the time, but only in white or black, right now the only way to get it is via Moto Maker, takes around 10 days, in a few days it going to be available in Best Buy Mexico, but I don’t think the deliver to the US, usually we buy in the US or import from the US, not the other way around, I don’t think there is a good exporter to US

I think there is a person doing what you need, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/selling-moto-x-play-mexico-t3187218, beside that; I like the phone but no more than the Nexus 6.
Hi Guys,
It has been a while since I used an android and the usual problem with carrier phone is they lock some bands (dont know why they do this) and undeletable bloatware.
Saw some ads in eBay that are selling refurb pixel phones and the price is not that bad.
I just want to ask will there be some issues of using verizon pixel in Canada or is it possible to change the firmware of the phone to make it global so it can unlock the bands,
Thanks for those who will reply
Today or tomorrow you can find out!
New firmware will be floating around. Try to take the update to your device. See what update it tries to push.
Hopefully it does a good thing for you..

Hi,
I am planning to purchase an unlocked U11 from US and use it in Canada. I am concerned about compatibility and any battery issues due to network configuration. If anyone has done the same, please share your experience so far. What all should I be worried about?
Thanks in advance

Hi. It's the same model. I have the read and it's great on Rogers, however, no WiFi calling of that's important to you.

it's the exact same phone.
even when you purchase from the HTC.ca website, all it does it forwards you to the HTC USA website, but charges you Canadian Tax and in Canadian money, but stock and model it's the same, and are from the same warehouse.
Because I already purchased 4 of those, 2 red, 1 silver and 1 blue

Less bands on the China variant no 66 and 71 if you plan to use it with T-mobile. Probably better on AT&T if someone else can confirm. T mobile will probably work fine for the most part with a few dead spots
Indeed, make sure you buy a version that fits your carriers' bands.
Verify the seller first before buying that Product. Do look at the reviews also!!!
I bought 4 oneplus devices ( 1, 3t, 6, 7t) from Ali. No issues! Good prices
if you can find someone help you register a local Taobao account, that would be even better. You can get much better price, though shipping could be a problem. Ali can help you buy a lot of different products. I also bought part for laptops just for repair and refurbish.

It should be the same exact modem I would assume? So it would simply be software on said modem that would unlock the bands. You can flash the Tmobile modem to the international build and vice versa so I don't see why you couldn't here... There aren't any RSA checks like in other phones, like LG and Sammy.
If there ARE hardware differences, then it wouldn't work but I don't think there are any.
Can someone more knowledgeable help us out here?
