I have an unlocked Desire S running TWRP 2.6.3.0. I've never had any problems installing new builds before, but every time I do now it always failed and I always get the error "Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/cm-11-20161203-UNOFFICIAL-saga.zip"
I've tried installed the Open Desire Project Cyanogenmod builds 11, 12 and 13. The phone previously had 11 installed and I had no problems whatsoever flashing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have been flashing stock factory images on my Nexus 5 without any problems for the past several months using the command as "flash-all.bat". Starting today, when I wanted to flash the latest 5.1 build, it failed and generated the message stating "Error: Update Package Missing System.img". I, then, had to manually flash each ".img" file to install the latest 5.1 build on my Nexus 5. Before installing the latest stock build, I flashed Euphoria 1.1 custom rom just for the fun of it. Did Euphoria custom rom cause this error to appear?
I am just curious to know what may have causes this problem on my Nexus 5.

Same here. I've used flash all just fine on every factory image that dropped except for the 5.x.x versions. I get this same message on two computers.
Update your fastboot. Should be 1.0.32. Google 15 second adb install xda. That'll install what you need.

So I saw that an official version of Xposed was posted for 5.1. I tried flashing the zip like in the instructions but I keep getting

and bootloops. This is the replacement tablet I got from Nvidia for the recall and I unlocked the bootloader an have TWRP installed. I tried running the uninstall zip, even though it didnt have xposed installed before, but that didn't work. I'm tempted to just factory reset and try again but I'd like to get it working with my current settings before resorting to that if possible. I also had this issue with romracer's port of xposed. What else could I do to get it to work?
Error with bliss pop and cm 12
I know this is an older thread but I have recently tried to root and install a custom rom and I get the same error. I have the most current version of TWRP flashed and I have looked up others who have installed both CM 12 and bliss pop, to follow their steps. For example formating the casch and system before install, and every time I get the same error. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I didn't explain that, it's the same error as the first post. "Error executing updater binary in zip" then it will list the path of the zip with the rom I'm trying to install.

So I am using at the moment a OnePlus One and have just recently flashed twrp-3.0.1-0-bacon.img as a custom recovery. Also I have just rooted the phone using SuperSU.
I tried installing the latest nightly of cm 13 for the OnePlus one and the corresponding GApps, however when I install it it either says "file corrupted" or "error downloading cm 13 error 7".
I have already searched for a solution and tried deleting asserts. That didn't work...
Can someone help me solve this problem?

Im trying to install LineageOS 14.1 on my OnePlus 3. Im getting error code 7. Ive updated TWRP to its latest version and im still getting the error, any help would be awesome thankyou

"Updater process ended with signal: 4
Error installing ZIP file (then here's the path)
Updating partition details...
...done"
I'm not sure what to do. The phone is a Redmi Note 7 lavander, Orange Fox is the latest (I just installed it today.)

Different ROM and different custom recovery but same issue:

A little update. Have tried other roms (Evolution X and Havoc,) and both have been successful. Is probably something about the rom (or maybe something I did wrong, or something wrong with my phone.)
