Samsung j3 sm-j327p trouble installing Google play mod on rooted phone - General Questions and Answers

I'm fairly new to modifying phones, so thought it prudent to get advise. I'm trying to install Google play mod on my phone. I opened it with es file explorer it simply said apk not installed. Thanks

I also had the same problem when I rooted my Vega phone. I just downloaded the apk on Google and good thing it worked well.

If you have TWRP, you can sideload it.

You need the Xposed framework for your CPU architecture.
Find out which CPU type you have then do a Google search for:
"Xposed framework for (your CPU architecture)"

If you mean you can't install TWRP, TWRP isn't an app, its,a custom recovery.
If you have a locked bootloader then you can't install TWRP.

You have to install it in recovery with lollipop. Make sure you get the latest version as it plays well with lg phones.

you could unzip the gapps and move the apps manually into the system apps folder, fix permissions, then reboot. dont try to install, system apps install themselves on reboot.
im thinking, some will work and some may not. i believe for some of the apps, there are other files the gapps install, you should see them in the gapps package, but i dont know where they need to be placed. maybe you can look at other apps to find similar files and place the new ones in the appropriate places.
i would make sure you have some way to recover your phone first. you just never know what might happen when dropping non native things into the system.

Xposed framework on stock ROM?

I've been out of the XDA game for awhile now since my last phone couldn't be rooted. I just got this phone, and immediately rooted it
Well, my question is can the xposed framework be installed on the stock ROM? Xposed seems to be really different since the last time I used it haha
If it can then what would I need to do to install it? Thanks to anyone in advance

I had the same problem with the download from XDA thread, did a google, and installed from a different link(sorry, can't remember which) ARM64 v80. Works like a charm, except APM+ module doesn't work, and I can't find a module to center clock, and full statusbar mods. Just try different download. Good luck!

Is it just the Gapps your missing? If so and you have a custom recovery try flashing open Gapps it may fix the issue. Another thing I found out this morning in was if you have something mess with the host file (like an ad blocker) it may cause play to act up. You can go into /etc/ and rename the host file.

Yes, uninstalling Magisk will result in your device going in no-root stage. Uninstalling Xposed doen't affect device's root-stage.
