This message keeps popping up every 3 seconds! help - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

The message pops up every time im trying to make a call. I need to click OK to make it disappear but then after a few seconds it pops up again
"call recorder is currently recording audio. com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox:intercator will not be able to record right now"
Also, when recording a video I get this message that keeps popping up every few seconds
"camera is currently recording audio. com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox:intercator will not be able to record right now"
How do I stop this?
EDIT: OK, I realized I need to disable google assistant. Is there no other way?

how to get rid of the "call ended" notification pop up

Every time a call ends, i get a "call ended" notification pop up telling me how much time it was.
is there a way to get rid of this notification, its really annoying.
It only does that when you end a call and you are not on the main "call" screen. If you disable touchscreen while on calls it is very hard to get off of that screen (unless you want to) and you won't get the popup.
Your cheek is probably touching something thats making the screen change.
thanks, it does seem to only happen when i leave the Call screen.
i wish i could turn it off completely though.
i just noticed now that im having issues with the phone being delayed when i get a call. my bluetooth headset will make a sound announing that a call is coming in but the treo wont show the caller id or ring for at least 3-5 seconds after. its very strange. even the screen goes on but it takes a while for the caller id pop up to show up.
is anyone else having this problem, is there a way to fix it?

Voice Recorder Issue- Please Help

Basically I would like to use the voice recorder on my AT&T Tilt to record lectures. The problem is that any command that activates the phone during this time will automatically stop the recording. For example...I was recording a lecture today...a reminder went off....I had to then restart the recording on in a new file. Then someone called in but I hit ignore and it still shut off the recording. If I open Micrmedix or any other function it will stop the recording. Anyways..you get the point..I soon had 6 files for one lecture. Question is...can I stop this from happening??
Any help is appreciated. Is there some brain out there who could write code for this sort of thing or is there an easier way?

locking screen during recording sound.

This may be a silly question as Im not to familiar with my phone yet, but is there any way to lock the touch screen/buttons so they dont operate when the sound/note recorder is running. The phone is a XDA ORBIT.
I cant seem to access the 'lock' icon when sound recorder is running, without the recording stopping.
I have tried installing a device lock app, that locks fine, but again when it locks - the voice recorder stops recording.
Is there any way to lock the screen and let an application continue, so I can have the notes voice recorder left running, without fear the screen will be touched accidently or a button accidently pressed and the recording stopped.
cheers

[Solved] Phantom call to voicemail?

Ok this is wierd, I went out for a cycle this afternoon and was listening to music using the headset on my Desire S the whole time.
When I got back I went to use the phone to make a call and noticed that the last call in my log was an outgoing one to my voicemail timed at 15 minutes into my cycle ride, and lasting for 46 seconds.
How could this happen? I did a quick check and if the music app is running and you go to make a call then the music cuts out on the headset and of course you hear the call. So it can't have been any accidental screen press on the phone in my pocket.
I'm now getting a bit paranoid that there is some rogue app on my phone trying to make calls. If there is, how do I find it?
For info I'm using the VoidU rom with the Unity kernel and latest radio from the recent OTA update.

I have the exact same config as you at the moment. The only way to find out which application could be responsible would be to check which applications have access to the dialer.
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > "Application Name", then scroll right down to the bottom to view permissions.
very strange!
if there is some app trying to make call, it should not be appeared in the call log, i think
After I noticed another phantom call in my log the other day, I've finally solved this...
Seems that a double-click on the headset button when you're listening to music will redial the last number called.
In the original situation I'd forgotten that I'd paused the music briefly and taken my earbuds out, to talk to someone at some traffic lights. Must have double-pressed the button by mistake and by the time I put the earbuds back in, the voicemail call had timed-out as I had no messages so I was unaware what had happened.
Can't see this double-click, redial, function documented in the manual anywhere!

[Q] Annoying Screen That Pops Up While Phone Is Connecting A Call

Hello, I am currently using clean rom 1.1 but I know this is a standard feature in stock.
When you make a call while connected to a Bluetooth headset their is a screen that pops up that shows you the different choices you have to connect the call. The Bluetooth I am currently on or I could choose the Phone or speakerphone I believe.
It is a popup that says Audio Source.
My problem is sometime I call somebody I didn't mean to call and I cant end the call fast enough because that popup screen stays on for like 2 seconds.
So, is there a setting I am missing to get rid of it or something else I could try I am rooted and s off.
Thanks...

Can't you simply end the call with your Bluetooth device?

I suppose I could do that but my headset has small buttons it would probably be just as fast to wait for the popup to go away.
I don't recall this kind of popup in any of the previous phones I owned. Just a minor annoyance..
I have the same complaint.
My call log has fairly small text and so if not careful could touch the entry next to the intended entry.
AND because the audio source popup is in the way I can't see who I'm calling until the popup goes away.
AND the phone has already started ringing by the time it goes away.
I'm simply asking if there is a way to disable this popup???
My phone app itself has a simple way to change audio source if I want ...
