at first I want to say I've reading all related threads and I think being able to do the right things if I would be sure which things.
My problem is that I'm unsure which way I have to use for my device. Pls look at the attached pic and tell my which thread I've to follow and if I have to update before via the ota.
At least for my excuse, I'm from Germany and my english is not as good as it has to be for understanding all posts especially these are written in "online-english".

then you can download ROM Manager To install CWM. Form CWM you can flash every CR you want. You are lucky, 4.0.3 has root without increasing the counter.

Du hast Glück 4.0.3 drauf zu haben, diese Firmware kann man rooten ohne den counter zu erhöhen.

2. What have you done between the time, when you could boot into recovery and the time when you could no longer boot into recovery? The more details you provide the better help you will receive.
3. Check the One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Frequently Asked Questions thread.
4. Best is to ask in the HTC One Help and Troubleshooting forum.
Usually you will have to flash a new recovery/firmware to fix this issue. But there are some device specific things to be aware of.
As I don't have your device, best to register on xda and ask in the Q&A forum I linked above.

Als erstes Ladet ihr euch das Lenny 3 Update V54 aus dem Wikoblog herunter.
Achtung die nächsten Schritte Löschen all eure Daten !
Nach dem Download Entpacken und Exe als Admin Ausführen.
Als Nächstes das Lenny3 ausschalten und via usb mit dem Pc verbinden, Download Button im Programm drücken und Warten
Das Lenny Bootet dann selbst und fertig ist die Rückkehr zur Stock Rom.
Viel Erfolg :laugh:

DAS GERÄT NOCH NICHT VERBINDEN !

Drückt Download in SP Flash Tool.
Jetzt zum Gerät :
Das Lenny 3 Ausschalten Akku Entnehmen und Ohne Akku Via USB mit dem Pc Verbinden.
Der Download Vorgang sollte starten und Ihr bekommt eine Nachricht nach dem Alles Fertig ist.
Akku dann wieder rein und VOL+ und Power gleichzeitig gedrückt halten um ins twrp zu booten.
Jetzt Die Supersu.zip auf eurer gerät kopieren ( In Download ordner oder sucht einen aus )
Drückt in Twrp auf install und wählt die SuperSu.zip aus installiert sie,
danach das gerät wie gewohnt Neu Starten

DO NOT CONNECT THE UNIT!

Downloaded in SP Flash Tool.
Now to the device:
The Lenny 3 Powering Off the Battery and Unplug Using the PC via USB.
The download process should start and you will get a message after which everything is finished.
Recharge the battery and press the VOL + and Power button simultaneously to boot into the twrp.
Now copy the Supersu.zip to your device (in download folder or search one)
Pressing in Twrp on install and selecting the SuperSu.zip installed it,
Then restart the device as usual

- Do I have to unlock the bootloader to install TWRP ?
(I am asking, because after following the guide, I can`t get into the TWRP recovery. All I get is a garbled screen; like if the GPU is about to die)
The process in SP Flash went fine... got the green OK at the end of flashing; closed SP Flash, disconnected the usb cable, inserted the battery and restarted with vol+ and power buttons to get into recovery, but no luck
- I can boot normally into the Android OS, and all works fine, but no TWRP recovery ???
Any suggestions ?

With the more recent TWRP 3.0.3-0 for the Wiko Lenny3 the custom recovery works as desired.

Ein paar Schritte zum Umschiffen von Untiefen -- hier mit LINUX (genauer: KUBUNTU) PC:
Das beruht alles nicht auf *Wissen*, sondern auf z.T. nervtötender *Erfahrung* : )
1. Setup Linux mittels Anleitung:

8. Recovery-Flash läuft... (grüner Haken am Ende)
9. USB-Kabel raus, Batterie rein, START-Knopf + SOFORT VOL+ Knopf drücken,
sobald "Wiko" Logo erscheint, Start-Knopf loslassen.
10. Twrp-Recovery Bildschirm erscheint aufm Handy
WENN NICHT: andere twrp-Version versuchen! <-- ich hatte erst bunte Streifen aufm Display..
JEDESMAL wenns schiefgegangen ist (Streifen oder Stock-Recovery): NEU FLASHEN!
11. Weitere Vorgehensweise wie in einschlägigen Beschreibungen (SuperSU installieren)...

Is there any working TWRP Version 3.0.2-0 instead of TWRP 3.0.3-0?
When trying to boot into recovery in 3.0.2-0 the display is looking strange, when flashing TWRP 3.0.3-0 is does work but I can not change the mount point as mentioned in custom rom:

Ich habe gestern und heute viel gesucht und gelesen in Sachen Lenny 3 und TWRP. Alles läuft auf die zwei Dateien raus, die hier verlinkt sind: TWRP 3.0.2 und TWRP 3.0.3. Flashe ich die erste, dann erscheinen bunte Streifen auf dem Display meines Lenny 3, flashe ich die andere, erscheint der erwartete Bildschirm, aber die Recovery reagiert nicht auf den Touchsreen.
Ich muss annehmen, dass es zwei Versionen des Lenny 3 gibt, sonst müsste die Recovery genauso gut funktionieren wie offensichtlich bei einigen anderen.
Hat irgendjemand Erkenntnisse, ob es für das Gerät noch mehr TeamWin-Recovery-Versionen gibt? Und wenn ja, wo? Diverse genannte Downloadquellen gibt es nicht mehr ...

Ja es gibt mindestens 2 Hardware Versionen und zumindest 3 verschiedene twrp Versionen fürs wiko Lenny 3. aber selbst wenn du ne passende twrp Version gefunden hast, wirst du kaum noch ein passendes custom Rom finden, alle hosts sind leider down oder hast du ne aktive Quelle gefunden?

I haven't used the tablet for a long time, now I wanted to convert it into a "fun tablet" for my daughter, the thing is really solidly built...
Runs Android 4.4.2, no further updates available.
I now wanted to install Plex because I have a small server running with old children's series, and there came the problem, older Plex app versions no longer establish a connection and newer versions from Vers. 7.0.xxx onwards could no longer be installed (error with parsing the package)... the solution idea, a custom ROM.
Now I wanted to ask you what you can recommend to me or possibly links from where?

habe das Tablet lange nicht mehr benützt, nun wollte ich es umfunktionieren als "Bespaßungstablet" für meine Tochter, das ding ist richtig stabil gebaut...
Läuft mit Android 4.4.2, keine weiteren Updates verfügbar.
Wollte nun Plex installieren da ich einen kleinen Server am laufen habe mit alten Kinderserien, und da kam das problem, ältere Plex-App-Versionen bauen keine Verbindung mehr auf und neuere ab Vers. 7.0.xxx aufwärts lasen sich nicht mehr installieren (Fehler beim Parsen des Pakets)... die Lösungsidee, ein Custom ROM.
Nun wollte ich euch fragen was ihr mir empfehlen könnt bzw. ev. links woher?
