Hi Guys,
Just wondering whether anyone has plans to create custom ROMS for the Ascend P2 now that Huawei have released the kernels.

We really need custom ROMs. The stock firmware is awful. Music player cutting out on me ect. We just need the boot loader unlocked.

I've just huawei for boot loader unlock. They sent a link to page but our device model isn't on the drop down list. I hope they add it and hope I can unlock the device even tho I'm rooted with eroot

Bricked phone - HELP!
So my p2 is bricked (stock at boot logo) and usb debugging is disabled so i dont know i i can fix it does anyone know any methods to fix it

I also have tried... Can somebody help.
I want to get rid of China UNICOM. After installing an application I see a chinesse message and I don`t understand what that means...
I want english only. (No offense)

try flashing this CWM recovery , it work for every version of Galaxy fame
i didn't make it .. it's made by (Noob_Friendly_Nerd) so all the thanks are for him
It's in the attachments section
but you MUST change default backup mode when in the recovery by going into backup and restore then clicking on change default backup mode and select DUP and then hit yes then your free to flash, backup current roms and so on

I have try it already but will do again. Thanks for your reply. Thing is that after flashing any recovery phone just reboots, can't boot at all and need to re-flash stock in order to have it working again. Also, after writing recovery ( any version ) i can't enter in recovery, phone just keeps resetting.
Most likely this mobile has different flash memory inside as it was always with Samsung 'i' versions..

I already tried it by downloading the smg361hu firmware.
And i tried to flash it in odin but it always fail at recovery.img.
I really want to make my phone android lollipop but theres no way i can find answer on google.
PLEASE HELP.

Thanks for using XDA Assist.
You cannot do that.You can only flash the firmware of your device on it.

is this phone impossible to root ???

okay so i have a DOOGEE X5 PRO with android 6.0 and im dying to get root access !
but no , Kingroot , framroot , and so on all fail.
i have tried soo many different methods including flashing twrp through fastboot but on every reboot no matter how the reboot is performed the stock recovery loads in twrps place.
heres some device details: Android security patch level/ 5 october 2016
baseband version / DOOGEE-X5PRO.2016.07.28
Kernal version/ [email protected].2016.07.28
Build number / DOOGEE-X5pro=Android6.0-2016.07.28
bootloader unlocked
i have searched for months and found nothing
any help will be greatly apreciated

So most probably there's no solutions to root your device atm, not all devices can be rooted

Wow. I bricked my red magic 3 over 4 months ago by flashing the wrong TWRP. I will try your tool an let you know if I can get my cellphone to work.
Even a cellphone repair shop could not repair the damage I caused.

Um I pretty much have your wish covered lol. My phone has been unused by my bed over 120 days now.
Will post if it makes my cell come to life?

You don't need to short any wire or test point in order to boot into 9008 mode. But you can still do that if you completely bricked your phone.

Mate I want to give money to the developer of this unbricking tool. Thank you so much for helping me in less than 4 minutes completely fix my Nubia Red Magic 3.
Now I am not the guy who destroyed a $1100.00 New Zealand dollars phone anymore.
As promised I'm sticking with my Xiaomi Mi9 and my partner has the very scary awesome Red Magic 3 cellphone.
Here is a picture of her syncing her Google account an transferring her data from her 2016 Xiaomi Mi Note 2 to her completely functioning 2019 Red Magic 3.
Please let me know how I can pay you for helping me fix this cellphone that was bricked for 4 months.

You should use the EU version.

Bricked badly!
I installed the cn rom on my gb rom through OTG update and wish to have the gapps so installed twrp for cn rom! And while installing gapps from twrp i wiped the system partition too in the wipe option of twrp! And now my phone is stuck with no recovery and no OS!
I tried every other method to flash .img files from fastboot, they do get flashed with OKAY! but nothing happens it stays in fastboot mode only!
Will this unbricking tool will help me? :crying: :crying:
