Flash SM-G920F on a SM-G920T - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I have trouble flashing stockrom G920F on a G920T device. I looked at other threads here in forum, but did not get an exacltly answer to that. What should we do to make it flash? The Odin doesn't go further than cache.img, I'm thankfull for answer and I really hope there is a solution to this problem

You can't flash g920f firmware on a T-Mobile variant s6, it won't work.

Yeh it will not work different builds
Try the original stock rom for your device

If you make backup for your phone, you could try to
extract the stock firmware for g920t & flash boot.img with flashing g920f firmware
so you need to flash g920f stock & boot.img "for stock g920t".
if your phone doesn't boot up you could root your phone.

N8010 with n8000 bootloader odin question

Hi all, so like a lot of overzealous flashers I loaded up the early release kk rom and flashed the n8000 bootloader on my n8010. Now I would like to reflash my device with a original firmware with odin. But as most of you know you can't flash original 8010 firmware if you have the 8000 bootloader... I saw somewhere that I could unpack the original rom and remove some files then repack it as a tar file for flashing through odin.
I can't find the original post so I was hoping someone could help me with the info about what I need to remove from the factory Img...
Thanks

Yes it possible just not the tar file in Odin because that would copy the modem and baseband and that would brick your device but a custom rom or even a stock rom with a installer script should work fine but u might need a call fix :good:

Galaxy 10.1 A6 SM T-585 no more recovery flashing via odin possible

Hi forum,
first of all,
I am a new member here and my name is harry.
I am a newbie regarding flashing and so on.
Anyway my problem
I could root a SM t-585 with the nougart os (7.0)
Everything worked fine until I tried to flash the TWRP recovery
with the TWRP App via Nougart os!
Result:
Hanging at the first screen...Introduction .. Samsung 10.1... bla,bla...
I opend the device and removed the battery connection..!
I still can manage odin, I can flash the boot section but I cannot flash any recovery!
Odin waits and says ....Get pit for mapping...!
What does this mean?
May I throw my Tab into trash?
Sorry for my terrible English
Greetings from Germany
Harry
This is forum for NOTE 10.1 NOT for TAB you are posting in the wrong forum .
Does this mean you have flashed stuff for Note on TAB ??
I could root a SM t-585 with the nougart os (7.0)>>
>>You do not root with an OS .
Everything worked fine until I tried to flash the TWRP recovery
>> Flash TWRP tar through Odin .
I still can manage odin, I can flash the boot section but I cannot flash any recovery!
>> I really dont understand are you flashing a bootloader ??
Suggest you flash your stock rom via Odin first .
THX for your quick response..
Ohh no... ..my fault, you are right wrong forum and
yes I rooted via odin!
( I guess it was to late yesterday..)
I was simply trying to say that odin is still working
and I only could flash the bootloader stuff.
Flashing of recovery firmware doesn't work anymore.
You are quite right with your suggestion, but where can
I get the stock rom from? This is my major problem!!
I appreciate your patience.
regards
You need to ask in your phones forum.
Probably sammobile or updato.com
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I guess I can throw my Tab into trash!
I've got all the firmware's for flashing from your
suggested site for my TAB A6 10.1 LTE
but
my flashing stops all the time with the message
Get pit for mapping!!
How knows this message?
Thx again
You need to ask in your phones forum.
PIT partition information table is damaged .
Find pit file and flash through Odin .
