Hello Friendsss ... Past one week I have Been facing a issue of " SLOW CHARGING " of my Osprey xt1550
Initially i thought that there might be some issue with the Rom so I flashed the Squid Kernel but the Problem was not solved
Then i changed the Complete Rom and flashed 2 roms during this week but the problem persists
Then I thought may be There is a issue with the charger but i tried 5 charger of same configuration but still Charging very Slowly issue is there .
And May be my fone was accidently dropped in water bucket so this might be the issue :silly::silly:
plz help me guysss:fingers-crossed:
Thnx in Advance
Slow charging is never (well, rarely) a software issue... it is almost always hardware.
1. Charger... get a quality replacement of at least 1A
2. Cable... get a new (or known good) quality cable
3. USB port... The Moto G 2015 series has been known to have USB port issues, luckily it is easy to replace without soldering on this device. YouTube can be your friend here
4. Battery... If the battery is at or near it's life span, it will charge slowly and should be replaced.
I would tackle them in that order.

Try another charger. Quite a few people seem to be complaining about the OEM Sammy chargers going kaput. Also could be a cable problem (broken wires) - I had a similar problem with my wife's tablet, fixed by replacing a cable.

Before buying a new charger, I would suggest confirming the exact problem first. You may be able to borrow a charger from someone (any USB charger with approx 2 Amp output will work, for example, from an iPad), or a cable. See what fixes the issue, and get a replacement. Also, if you have some average soldering skills, the cable can fairly easily be fixed at home (in case it is a faulty cable) - the wires usually break at the connector, and the OEM Sammy 30-pin connector is snap-assembled, not glued, so you can take it apart and put it back togethet. Good luck!

unpredictable charging and draining. I have not yet figured how to work around.
I am also having the same problem with not being able to shut down except when
on battery. (better than the other way around I guess).
help needed with Gnabo v8 - battery not charging
bump
Battery went to zero. When I woke up this morning, it had miraculously charged to 76%.
Now draining again when plugged in.
Anyone seen this ?
Have rewiped and flashed again, but did not help.
(p.s.) I tried a shorter cable.........no help.

bad battery/battery charging circuit it sounds like
GT-N80XX need an OEM cable & 2.1A 5V Charger to charge correctly.
Never use long cable (usually cheap 3rd party cable) to charge your GT-N80XX.
Broken Cable/wall charger also possible.
Broken Battery is another possibility.
My old Battery is down to 68% of it's full capacity (from 7Ah down to 4.8Ah) so I decided to replace it with a new battery.
Now It looks like new again
I am ashamed - twas the cable
Before I retired in 1998, I had a reputation for giving good advice as a tech troubleshooter.
One of the toughest problems is when you make a change to a system and , simultaneously, something else fails causing a broken system. Your first thought is always to attribute the failure to the change you made. In this case, I failed.
I had just flashed Gnabo v8 and suddenly, my 8013 would not charge. Must be a ROM or flash problem - right ?! I reflashed and still no-go.
?
I tried a (longer), non-oem charging cable I had. Still no-go. Finally found that the oem cable had failed where the cover, when open, causes it to bend near the connector. I am usually able to charge if the cable is straight and the internal break is positioned just right to make contact. New oem cable has been ordered..

Do you mean how do I measure my battery capacity?
I'm using Android Tuner & in the battery section you can find the capacity.
But you need to do a few charge-discharge cycle to get the right measurement.
Other option is using Battery monitor widget.

Hi Friends. I have this weird issue with my le1s. It's only charging while it's off. please tell me if any one of you would know how to address this issue and what might be wrong with it. Thanks in advance.
Are you using the original letv charger and adaptor? This issue usually pops up when the charger that you are using delivers very less current. So when you power on, it charges in a higher speed and may be the cable/ adaptor is not able to deliver enough current. Please check and let know if a new cable/adaptor fixes the issue.

That's a good point. I did buy a replacement cable as i had lost the original one...I'm not sure about the adapter being at fault...will need to get a new set to see if this fixes the problem. worth a try though. appreciate your inputs. :good:
Just make sure that the replacement cable is of a good quality. I'm using mivi cable and that's pretty good. Can be found in amazon. Happy to help. Cheers!

Please use original charger if you're using original cable because our original cable needs 12v output if you're using another charger then don't use original cable instead use a Type-C connector along with usb 2.0 charger it will surely charge your mobile while you're using it.
I'm too facing the same issue ,I'm using original charger and adapter with latest os version installed

Like all the other replies say you should have a good cable. But your mobile should charge even when it is switched on. Maybe too many apps are running in background, due to which it is not charging fast enough to notice.
My le1s is charging but when i put my phone in charging at 11:30 pm at that time my battery was 12 and my phone was charging but when i sawed at 9:00 am the battery was 9 percent please help me!!!

Hi all, i have a problem with my s6. I repaired my s6 usb port and changed it with a new one. But still my phone charges at 250mah instead of 2000 and my pc wont recognise it, any suggestions?
A kind of "script-type" solution, but have you tried different USB cable? I suggest you buy a proper one, like 28/24 gauge USB cable.
These are a bit more expensive, but charge very well. Much better quality and charge faster.
Already changed ton of cables and usb ports, still the same problem

I think your charging ic on logic board needs replacing. Only micro solderer people can replace that. Might not be worth for you.

The way I read that you're expecting to get rapid charge from pc ports. Need a rapid charger for rapid charging.

Same issue here. Think its related to a charging chip
Hi,
I've got the exactly same problem here. Repacinfg battery and the USB port of the phone did not solve the problem. Did your repairing work out? Any more ideas?

Hello all :
I have exactly the same problem that you all I have 250 to 300ma really charge, that it is any charger of 0.5 amps 3.1 amps either with a quick charger from Samsung or quick charge 2.0 or other, any cable too, and any rom, tested Global, Lineage and stock.
Oooo, and i tested with a custom charger, 9v 2amps, nothing change !!! 0.250amps and 5hours to 50% -> 100%....
Is really strange problem.
Any Idea ? is possible to limitation software ???

Yes is possible, but here i dont know.. beacause, it would have quite different effects depending on the chargers and on the voltage. here we have, in my case, the same problem regardless of the charger amps or voltage.
this is more like a software crash of the chips in the worst case.
Other hand I noticed that I had lost all utilities USB my phone example when I plug it on my computer it is absolutely not recognized... Any Idea for that ???
Thanks

Need help.
In software, how or where is manageme the charge ? In the kernel ?
Is strange, the charge is blocking at 250ma...
Hello,
I'm struggling with strange issue with my phone. When I try to charge it with original charger and cable it looks like he tries to enter the fast charge mode but something is wrong and the proces is interruped (see atachmed movie). This happes all the time but when I use some othe charger with less power the slow charging is fine.
I've tried different cables and chargers but with the same result. The phone is from second hand so I can't say where it was from the beginning, because I've immediately updated it after the first charge. The first owner says that everything was perfectly fine, but he haven't used him for 4 months.
Anybody had the same problem or know what might be the reason?
Could be a problem with the charger or the cable. You'll have to test it using another Poco F2 charger/ cable.

Most OEMs use proprietary charger and cables, so you'll have to use their branded charger and cables only for testing, unfortunately. Without those, your phone will still charge, but not at the speeds that their proprietary technology supports.

Hi,
But 2 chargers and 2 cables where from the OEM, I've bouth the same phone becouse the old one had damage. Now I tested all the chargers I have and when the power is strong enough to trigger fast charging I see this strange braking. I had used these chargers with the same model before without any problems so I don't think it's a charger fault.
Just to add some background: the phone is not rooted, I've started the unlocking process and I'm waiting the 7 day period to be able to unlock bootloader.

Rooting or unlocking bootloader won't make a difference.
At this point, I'm beginning to feel that there is something wrong with the battery, and is the reason the previous owner was not using it for 4 months. Is the battery lasting fine it you charge it fully, even if slowly.
it's known hw issue, happen on this devices after years of usage if you're frequent using miui 33w turbo charge
that's why custom rom limit the charge 22w, the hw can't handle it
you will have to replace the charging board or/with the flex cable, or some people succeeded patch the flex/connector with some paper (look up on yt). The later usually won't last long.

It's also my guess. After charging slowly everything is fine, it last like the previous one at the beginning so 2 days of normal use.

well, just reset it if you doubt, all software related issue should be solved
i don't understand the need for you to debate this
the mainboard and charging board handle the communication about turbo charge, the battery doesn't matter if it's can hold a charge
either try to replace those or accept you have a broken mainboard
