Hi guys,
Yesterday I noted that the U11 screen is more sensitive than HTC 10 with the pressure and distortion.
If I'm in a dark background and I touch the screen and then move my finger quickly from up to down I can see some screen distortion for few seconds. Please note that I'm pressing it with little force, nothing hard. I tried to reproduce this in HTC 10, iPhone 7 and no problem.
Can you test this? Please put your finger on screen and without taking it off move your finger from up to down quickly against a dark background, picture, or application. Do it along the entire screen. I can see some distortion. It's like the glass is not separated enough from LCD screen. You need to do this a few times as sometimes you can't see it alright.
Sorry doesn't happen here

hi friends
yesterday night unfortunately my son fell over my touch pros touch screen when i checked at night the phone was working perfectly and today morning the screen is showing 1 big rectangle mark with small dots on the screens surface and the screen is not responding phone is working but screen not responding
will i have to change the screen ?
please help
The same thing just happened to me!??! Exactly!? If anyone has any tip, please let us know. It's a rectangle slightly smaller than the screen and it's a blurry colorful appearance with a grid of faint dots. It appears as though layers in the touch screen have separated. I didn't do anything to my phone to prompt this - no abuse whatsoever.
I use a black background for both my lock screen and home screen. Just this morning I noticed that sometimes after I unlock my screen, or hit the home button and return to my home screen after being in an app, I get artifacts that pop up on my screen for a second or two. Usually on the left hand side.
They arent truly "artifacts", it looks as though its images of the icons on my home screen flashing up on my screen for like 1-2 seconds then dissappearing. I have also seen a little checkerboarding pop up as well
This is sort of hard to explain through text. I guess I'd have to record a video and post it here, but I'm at work and cant do that until later. If anyone knows what im talking about or has had this problem, what did you do to fix it?
Hi All,
I just recently dropped my Nexus 5 flat on front face down. Now the screen is showing colored vertical lines some are horizontal and some vertical lines. Most lines are at the bottom part of screen. The LCD is completely safe and clean because of tempered grass. The screen is also unresponsive. Phone is turning on without any issue. When I press hard on the screen then so many vertical red lines appears.
Please help if anyone has fixed this issue before.
Thanks
Screen appears to have died.
First it started with a vertical line of wrong colour pixels, it was this way for a few months. Then half the screen went white and later that day the screen died.
It flickers white and pink for a split second in the top right corner when you wake it, but then goes off. Otherwise the phone works as screenshots and apps respond, and responds to touch.
Don't suppose anyone knows any dirty tricks for fixing it that don't require taking it apart? Like heating it or something?
Hey,
I got problem: after changing broken display, new on has some issues: i can see very small blinking horizontal stripes (darker and brighter, so they are visible mostly on colors other than black/white) and they are moving, like when you record screen with different refresh rate.
Also sometimes there is problem: when I turn on screen, after few seconds all colors change to bright and contrast is extremally high (like with using some bad picture filter), or very rarely i have vertical stripes, which become more visible, all screen becomes brighter and there is no response when I touch screen. This two problems dissapear, when I turn off and on screen again. (but I still can see delicate horizontal stripes - these are all the time)
Is it problem with software, or hardware?
If hardware, it is because broken/poor quality screen, or there is some issue (damage? dirt?) on the connection between screen and mainboard, on socket or band?
