Guys, I have an MHA-AL00 that I get an error on Huawei's unlock site:
https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/detail
"The Huawei ID used to apply for the unlock code has not been used on the device for more than 14 days."
I emailed support in the US but they sent a form letter stating they do not EVER provide unlock codes.
Any advice on how I can get this thing unlocked??
Wait 14 days or get bootloader code via dc-unlocker (it costs a few euro. I guess it is 4 EUR)
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads
Watch the tutorial video there. Do not press 'unlock' button, but 'get bootloader code' button.

OK, I guess I'll wait, but do you think that message is confusing enough?? Did you get yours after 14 days, anyone else successful??

I'm reading that error message differently -- waiting isn't going to help you. The problem is that you haven't logged into the HiCloud or HiApp services (or anything else using a Huawei ID) in the last two weeks. Re-enable those apps if you have them disabled, log in, then request your unlock code.
The 14 days waiting is only for chinese models. AL00

Send an email to mobile AT mail01 Dot huawei Dot com, including the following information:
1. Dial *#*#2846579#*#*, ->Version Info->Other Info, make a screenshot
2. Your MEID, IMEI number.
3. The screenshots of failed unlock (including 2 IMEI and MEID).
Then ask them to give you the unlock code. You will get it in 2 days.
Good luck.
'Other Info' is behind

Hello.
I'm planning to get MediaPad X2 (701L version). I'm going to use it as a car media center - and for this reason I will need to rebuild the kernel (with CONFIG_SND_USB and CONFIG_SND_USB_AUDIO set to support my PCM2704 DAC). I don't care about system updates with 703L ROMs, especially that they seem to cause some trouble. So, my questions are: is it possible to flash just rebuilt kernel, not whole OS, and if it is, what I will need to do with the device first (unlock bootloader, root, flash TWRP)? Will it be possible (in case of RMA) to restore device to factory state?
I never got usb audio working on 701. I am on b211.

Have you tried rebuilding the kernel?

Have you checked GEM-701L.LL.EMUI3.0.opensource.rar from official Huawei support site? Looks like sources to me, but i'm no expert .
Same to me. But even if I we're, I have no idea what to do.
I have one usb device: zoom h4n, which should work, but if even does not work on my nexus 6p. Maybe you could be successful trying your device.

Hey guys, I'm desperate with this device... I never had so much troubles with a single android device before and I don't know what to do anymore.
I tried to restore my device via the offline-method, while this didn't work out And between these tries, I've lost my IMEI. After various other tries to restore it, I thought I could try FunkyHuawei to restore. It all showed up as it should and worked well. But the Mate 9 still wants a Certain Unlock Code for the SIM-Card and still shows up IMEI null ( 0000000000000 ). Is there anybody, who has an idea, how to fix this ****ty phone? I need to get it work, because I have to send in my S8+ because I broke my display..
EDIT: Bootloader shows PHONE Locked and FRP Unlock... if that helps? ><
Desperate greetings and thanks in advance,
Ardian

Hello everyone, I need my help, I bought my Honor 8 in Gearbest, version AL-10 (Chinese), but I made the huge mistake in updating, and with that it was only on the screen of eRecovery, searching the internet I found some steps and I did it, but now my cell phone does not call anymore, it's only on the screen with the Blue Honor logo, I can not do anything else, I do not enter eRecovey anymore, I can only enter Fastboot mode, but the phone is locked, Unlock this mode, from what I read I need to unlock it, but I do not have the product id to complete the unlock process, does anyone have any light on how it could make him come back to life?
How do you get it back into eRecovery mode?
Thank you guys
Sorry my english, I do not have much knowledge of the language.

Hello my friend
yesterday I ended up getting
I used a program called DC Phoenix, it unlocks and makes the recording of the new firmware
But now I'm trying to find a correct firmware for my cell phone
He entered cross flash, I installed a version yesterday and when he came up he showed me another version.
Hi alisonduarte,
You bought a chinese model of Honor 8 (AL10). But, did it came with a AL10 firmware or, in most cases of imported models, a rebranded one. (L14 or L19 maybe).
Rebranded chinese models (AL00 and AL10) are known to bootloop with recent firmwares. The last working firmware, for my own rebranded AL00 phone, is B380.
I advise you to rebrand your AL10 to L19, with the help of this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-honor-8-to-frd-l19-t3632220 (L19 Firmware link is dead, another link here: https://mega.nz/#!ELQXnYgb!H7c0hCSIZ6N3ljMBm8JD21-aaNY3E-1JD0M99dntr7o)
Then update to B380 using "Firmware Finder for Huawei" app -or- "dload" folder method -or- RedLotus method. (For the last one: HiSuite 5.0.1.300 needed, download link here. Use this "filelist.xml" link for FRD-L19C432B380 firmware: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G753/g104/v77475/f2/full/filelist.xml)
Good luck! =)
It all started when my phone didn't get the Oreo Update. So I unlocked my bootloader, installed TWRP, downloaded an Android 8.0 rom for my phone.
I wiped data, system, boot, caches, and internal storage. I tried to flash it but is failed. So I restored the backup of system and boot. When I restarted the phone, it is missing many key apps, keyboard, file manager, and system update, and settings such as bluetooth is not working. Please help me! Games are running pretty slow and
the UI is ugly as hell, please someone help me!

You will hardly find a trustful source since FF does not host anymore, or what.
There is a generic Huawei Firmware Finder thread on XDA (not specific for Mate 9), find it and ask there, maybe FF moved or reorganized, maybe there is still a chance to use and download
Otherwise, you can try:
Search - AndroidHost.RU
Check multiple download links at the same time.
androidhost.ru
Enter MHA-L09 or MHA-L29 (or just MHA-L), depending what's your model and Search. Go through the list if you find something for c636 (there is more for v432, but it requires unlocked Bootloader and rebranding).
Most of the firmwares here contain official Installation instructions from Huawei, and a matrix from which build numbers they can be used for DLOAD - they are the so-called Service Repair firmwares for Huawei service repair shops
There were threads here about American users updating from Nougat and Oreo to Pie, find them and read. If you ask there, maybe spmebody can still answer (threads were still acive last year, not in 2018 like the the threads you choose to ask)
Good luck

Try searching for general FF thread on XDA and ask them what happened with their store
As a last chance you can try:
Huawei | Halab Tech Support
support.halabtech.com
They have scattered things around various folders and pretty complicated scheme (at least it was 2 yrs ago) how and what can be downloaded for free and what requires and which type of subscription
Two years ago I downloaded something successfully (without subscription), later didn't try anymore (btw, I have ended up with my Mate 9 and generally the Huawei phones)

problem that before had the Russian site Ffinder that had the ROMS and now has no more.
I managed to do the DLOAD only with Nougat that I have here and I don’t think anymore, I found other C432 C185 Oreo but I don’t find the C636
it's really hard
I downloaded this MHA-L29C636B378 (8.0.0.378) but when making the DLOAD folder it doesn't work
Hello,
1st i want to say, that I am not a phone expert. I got (I could not choose) this Mate 9 but how you already know it's chinese version. I was researching but after reading so many threads and websites I got tired and confused that I had to sing up for help. I would like to ask if there is a option how to unlock bootloader, because the officially way through Huawei website seems to be shut down. The link for registration for the unlock code does not work and I could not find any information about it on the huawei website. So is there any free way how to unlock it ? I want to change the region and get fully English rom. Another question is, I read on couple websites that AL00 should get the new EMUI 8, I have in the phone 5 and I am wondering how to upgrade to version 8. Again I found some info and files for download but boodloader has to be unlocked but on other side I saw something that it should be officially upgrade, so I will still need unlock bootloader ? If no, how can I make upgrade to emui 8 ? Current I have B186 and next new upgrade I have B233, I didn't download that one yet. Do I need some special build and after it will be installed will show up the upgrade to emui 8 ?
Thanks a lot for help.
