Well, the Sprint TP2 radio is locked from using United States GSM networks but it is unlocked for Non-US networks so in order for you to use a US GSM networks you would have to Pay for SIM/Security Unlocker and flash an unlocked radio.
Probably not what you wanted to hear.
Thanks,
Wich radio could i choose ?
You basically need to do this:

You should do the SIM Unlock process first here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578642
Then use the unlocked 1.96 or 2.32 Sprint radio from the thread the previous poster linked you to.
1st question:
This related with the unofficial AOKP 4.2 ROM for the LG LU6200 latest version 0417 (post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240710#post40443849): does anybody has tested the battery life of the phone with this ROM?
2nd question:
Somebody was able to activate this phone on a CDMA Network in the continental America? because Im trying to activate on a CDMA network provider (IUSACELL) but I cant find proper a walkthrough or proper steps to program it
Hi people, last year I bought an unlocked e975 international version in the US and I live in Argentina, the frequencies used here are 850/1900 for 3g and doing a quick search i've found that the phone specs say it supports 900/2100. There is nothing i can do to get the 3g to work here? If I try flashing modems is it going to be the same? Thanks in advance

I am not sure about it.
You can read a similar thread here: [Q] E975 3G connectivity
And ask your question in the LG Optimus G (International) > Optimus G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Hi guys.
The Verizon m8 supports these LTE bands : Verizon: 700/AWS/1800/2600 MHz (taken from the official HTC web site),
but it seems like 1800/2600 are software locked and can't be used.
I had the same issue with the AT&T version of the M8, but installing a rom would fix this issue.
Unfortunately, installing a rom on the Verizon m8 does not help and these bands are still locked.
bootloader unlocked and soff.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hi, M9guy
I have same issue with you, I am in China Now, they lock 1800MHz. I tried to find solution, but failured, android version for Verizon M8 can use QPST unlock Verizon Band limitation, but M8 for windows not support by QPST. Certainly, I am not expert, so don't know whether exactly support. After check XDA, found have some guys use QPST flash custom image for Lumia 1520, I don't know whether M8 for windows can use QPST.
If can use QPST, we can try to change Band data that should same as android version.
Thanks
Yong
