Agreed. Nobody bothers to mention the version number and then everybody is in trouble. The OP didn't bothered to mention what he is looking for? And the other person also didn't mention whether it is for L09 or L10...

There should be no trouble, cause there is a doc file inside the ZIP file saying L09.
BTW lnxs05 asked for the Rom in another thread and thats why i knew he wants L09

UPDATE: I have tested the Sprint LS996 ZV8 TOT, and it works great. The ATT H950 11z TOT has also been tested by one user, who was successfully able to switch back from H950PR.

I am running the 5.1.1 h950pr software on my at&t h950 g Flex 2, because it was difficult getting the update from at&t. I would prefer to have the 5.1.1 11z at&t update, if I were to download and flash this at&t TOT file, is it likely to work? Or will I brick my device do you think?

It has been tested to work by one user, who was able to switch back from the H950PR ROM. See this.

Probably stupid question, but I should have no problem going from the original AT&T 5.0.1 to this latest 5.1.1 using this method correct?

I cannot believe my freaking luck. Right after my phone gets hard bricked, I find the one thing that can fix it. What can I do now. LG tells me that I have to have the Proof of Purchase or they may not be able to fix it, but it only said that on the printing slip. Is their anyway to save my phone with this or is it off to LG I go?

Why would you want to flash it?
Is your phone in bootloop or semi bricked?
If the answer is no to both questions then you dont need to flash this.

I used the ATT H950 tot to go straight from out of the box 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 (I'm on tmobile so no OTA for me). Thank you op!

Used this TOT to unbrick my soft-bricked 5.1.1 H950PR using LGFlashTool. Ofcourse I find this fix after getting a G3 as a replacement but thank you!

This will only be useful if you can get in to download mode.

Honor 8 Stock Recovery

Does anyone knows the best method to revert back to the Honor 8 stock recovery from TWRP? I tried goggling for the stock recovery.img for Honor 8 but the search comes out with nothing.

You have to extract it from UPDATE.APP. Then flash it via fastboot.

Thanks a lot but it is the stock firmware and it ll unroot the phone again..
What I'm asking is in case wifi and hotspot doesn't work after rooting is there a way to flash csc file only and sustain the root ?

I m not sure about the Autoroot process but I think you are referring to this..

Just follow the steps in the procedure..
Remember to make back up of this rooted configuration in TWRP so that you can always get back to this configuration when ever you want.

1. What is the new 'magic photo' mode?
2. Does it support switching between normal & wide camera during video recording now?
3. Substratum rootless support?
4. Boombox on off toggle? Earpiece as secondary speaker?
5. Bright mode, is it still 1/4 or full resolution like v40?
6. Fullscreen 19.5:9 gallery? Or does it still act like 18:9?

You don't have to root if you just want to cross flash to the Korean pie.
