Got my acceptance to the beta today and set up Samsung Pay with my debit card.
Just used it at a local pizza shop and it was wicked fast.
Little confusing though on what you need to do.
I fingerprint activated my card to pay, held it up against the terminal and it was slowly vibrating. The payment receipt printed immediately but I wasn't sure when to release the phone.
I think it's just a tap and release thing. So I will try that next time.
It's awesome. Since I can't use Google wallet on here, I'll take it!
Works on ALL types of terminals.. [emoji4]
It also puts a tiny little bar at the very bottom of your screen so you can just swipe up and it will display your card immediately for you to use.
Interesting to see how much battery this uses throughout the day. I didn't see a way to disable that.

Right now the beta only supports Bank of America and USBank cards.
It should open up to more once it's out of beta and in production of Sept 28th

Same, but for me it was because the attendant didn't activate the swipe yet, I gave up arguing with him that it will work. Only realized later if I had waited until he activated it and the blue light came on then it will work.

Yeah it is weird because I usually swipe first and then pump gas, but I wouldn't do samsung pay before I start pumping. Weird

Oh for me it wasn't for gas. It was inside to buy a red bull lol
I have it installed but since I have USAA Bank it won't let me add my card. Hopefully USAA fixes this issue soon.

Only works with US Bank and Bank of America ATM. I'm have USAA too. We gotta wait til the official release on 28 September

I have USAA too, it will be supported, they just ain't part of the beta phase. I'm holding on without root just to test this nice feature.

From my understanding it's a server side rollout. Means you can't just download the apk and update it, Google has to flip the switch for your phone. It's a waiting game.

Yep. It will happen when it happens.
I can't paste the link, but if you Google search new google play store apk. You will find what you ate looking for. Apps for all Google Apps are always list online before they reach your phones.
I thought all marshmallow and nougat devices were getting it?

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, I'm not rooted on this particular device. I use my shield tablet for work (my monitor for flying phantom 4 pro drone for real estate).

The question you'd have to ask were you approved to start with. Also check your all section to see if you have updates. I noticed sometimes updates never show up on the update section since the S6

Anyone figured out how to get it to unlock the phone.
I say Hi Bixby and it answers but every time I say a command I have to unlock the phone. I saw it said I could change it but... the box disappeared too quickly.

I haven't figured that out, either. Really needs to work from locked screen. Maybe trusted in the same way we can trust a paired bluetooth device.

Ahhh okk i'm using mod and i thought that these problem was mine
Ditto here for XDA SMH! That's the main app that I use Tapa for like most of you I'm sure. It's a pain to type out an entire reply just for the app to say you don't have permission. The "no results" in my subscribed threads list had gotta be the most frustrating issue.
Perhaps XDAs database is too large for Tapa. All other forums I go to load everything rather fast. The few things that I currently can get to load via Tapa on XDA take a dramatical longer time to load up. I hope that I can even post this reply *fingers crossed*....

My thoughts exactly. I'm no it sure what a site has to do to maintain Tapatalk functionality but it's probably easier for site devs to focus on less platforms.
