You're on latest. An EMUI 6 update isn't confirmed yet for our device, but if it should arrive, it'll be on Q1 2018 most probably.

you are already on latest EMUI. EMUI 5 is running for most of them with couple of them running 5.1.

The device was released for EU market only. I'm NOT looking for TWRP for Chinese versions known as Changxiang 7 or Enjoy 7.

So today I asked Huawei about Huawei GR3 2017 being updated to EMUI 8 and they confirmed that it'll get the update in September
Since this device is named by the country it's in it's safe to assume that these are getting the update too:
Huawei GR3 2017
Honor 8 Lite
Huawei P8 Lite 2017

Honor 8 lite have chinese versions...
In which china has started the beta update for Chinese variants (PRA-AL00X, PRA-TL00, PRA-AL00......)
So for these devices may get early as possible......

Honor 8 lite is for the chinese version as it will get the update first
Then P8 Lite 2017 after that GR3 2017

Hmm.i just hope all models get the Oreo soon just like what honorglobal stated.. And if honor 8 lite gets the update first I should be receiving it soon

By the way now i have updated to oreo by nocheck recovery method
Huawei GR3 2017 is also have a beta release though, just last April 2018

Huawei P8 lite/Honor 8 lite/GR3 2017 oreo update
I talked to huawei customer service and they told me that the update started rolling on 29th of May in UK,so should be in whole europe very soon(some users in greece got the update)
Hey Guys, I have Huawei GR3 2017 with build number PRA-LA1 8.0.0.416 C185
I have already unlock the bootloader, Now I need to make root and install TWRP.
Thus install a custom rom, I have tired google it all of searches leads to Huawei P8 lite.
Because P8 lite and Gr3 have the same model number (PRA-LA1). So I tried many of TWRP versions
but no one is compatible with gr3, anyone have this experience before and can help me?
