I guess you have patched V2 firmware because me too :crying:
I've the same problem too. We have to patch the firmware V1, but all download links are dead for V1.

OMG now what we do. Is there anyone who bought brandnewYU yunique plus not yunique and created a backup of his nandroid then please share that backup files. So we can flash it.

OK bro I got the NEW VERSION YU_YU4711_SW_V1.0.0 BUT IT IS THE ZIP FILE AND A BACKUP OF NANADROID using twrp NOW I WANT TO CLEAN FLASH IT USING ETS TOOL NOT USING TWRP. but how still confuse because lots of the files in emmc.win extension I HAVE TO RESEARCH ABOIT IT.

I JUST Want to convert them to normal firmware structure like what we flashed using ETS tool. our yunique now become yu yunique PLUS I got 2 updates
1st was around 283 MB
and 2nd was 50mb
now it become our old yunique plus.

Logo can be changeable The one biggest problem is Shortcut key for Recovery, is fixed.
Splash is OLD.
I'm in AOSP.Ext 4.2 + Ceasium Kernal. I can customize everything, even though Navigation Bar too :cyclops:

Hmm That Ugly YU logo(blue color) is removed after those 2 updates and become simply"yunique powered by android" and afterwards the animation is same dude
stock recovery is working perfect.
no need to TWRP or any other just stock recovery working fine as before.
Now i m in stock firmware lollipop 5.1.1 :fingers-crossed:
If u dont apply those updates you will face same YU (BLUE COLOR) logo after updates it will VANISH.:laugh::silly::victory:

I flash MM official OPen os from the site that was working perfect to me but the only problem is that it doesn't has VOLTE support. Otherwise there is no issue at all bro. You have to use that reliance jio join app to call

Actually when I installed validus os 1st time ever it has lots of features which u mentioned above as well as so I fed up with them ya I can say that navigation customization is superb while playing music.!!!!
Tell me some different os for yunique plus which is stable. Cuz lots ROM has camera issue expect MMYUOS. Thats y I installed that but NO VOLTE there

in nougat ROMs, I only had problem with magisk. Sometime after rebooting I lost the root. And sometimes infinite bootloop. I just removed the magisk and using SuperSu by chainfire. Now smooth.
AEX + ceasium kernel is super stable.
LINEAGE also stable. But no Volte.
I have tried, RR, Lineage, Mokee, MIUI 8.2 beta.
Currently in AEX + Ceasium + SuperSu

Yes dude magisk is now going to shut down I don't know y and yes SU is awesome I also tried both of them.
Magisk was inbuilt in VALIDUS OS
SU I installed manually in Stock
Did you try video recording on your current OS??? if not then please try and Switch between camera to video mode and keep trying it time to time you will found bug there
like camera will stop working or unable to record video or even camera app will crash.
One more tip when your flash light is on and you will try to take picture and video you unable to capture them or it will crash. I tried It while my flashlight was on and my camera stuck and whenever I opened it there was nothing just black black screen only!!!!!!!!
if you want to assist me then please tell me how to add volte in MMYUOS is there any way to add it I already tried static blaze patch but it didn't work for me.

I downloaded "miui_a117_javajohn_4.2.18_c8e3a6f79b_4.2" rom from miui india official site, i was running lewa5, and i did all the steps for installation as you mention.
But my phone is stuck in boot loop i think(initial micromax M! logo ). I tried it multiple time but still same.
How long does it take to boot for the first time? is there anyway to fix it? any tips about how to check what could be the issue. I don't know much about debugging and all adb stuff but i can follow steps and all.
EDIT:
i get following message will doing reset,
"no app2sd partition found. skipping of /sd-ext"
I don't know if its anything to do with that.

Check if your Downloaded package is fine, sometimes it can be the issue..
We can check it by comparing MD5 unfortunately on mega its not possible.
Another thing, do factory reset and than wipe delvink cache. Then do to mount and storage from there.
format /system
/cache
/data
There is no sd ext partition in your sd card that's why it skip that.
Install package and boot up..
I want to share a problem regarding call volume when using headphones and playing music.
It's a very critical bug, when somebody calls me while m listening to music call volume is very low, many times my mic also do not work (headphone).
Please fix it.

Yes u have to d/l the whole rom again to be on 4.2.18 now we can expect 4.2.21 from @Javajohn anytime but need to fix this boot loops for this rom first.

Step 1 : Copy the rom zip, gapps zip in your SD Card
Step 2 : Boot into Recovery
Step 3 : Enter recovery mode
Step 4 : Make full wipe including “system” (dalvik cache and others)
Step 5 : Flash the rom and then the gapps
Step 6: Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2 minutes)

I must say this is the rom i m searching for.

bro wait for few minutes and it is kitkat rom so first flash kitkat patch file and then rom if you have done this then wait for few minutes it will boot up

This problem is also seen when flashing CWM recovery or old Twrp recoveries. After flashing Recovery it will stuck on boot.
it has some problem with speaker.......after every 15 secs there is a crashing voice from speakers if u listen a music

but tow thing u can do
1....disabled the sound fx in the setting or equalizer
2....install other sound fx or equalizer

I flashed custom rom (Unofficial)validus os in my Yu yunique Plus(2gb) which have lots of issues like heating problems, network interruption , and when i connect my pendrive using OTG it thinks I am charging my mobile and unable to connect my pc via usb cable. Please tell me any solution if any.
And how to install (Official MM 6.0.1) in YU Yunique Plus using PC Full procedure.

I'm having Yunique Plus. I tried to install MM6.0.1 from Yu Dev. But ended up Boot loop .:crying: Manual fastboot option and adb side load option are there.
In TWRP, you can find adb sideload and run the command from the Yu Website. It will work. I guess validus os may be compiled from Cyanogen sources.

I have seen some videos on which people re install firmwares but the android security patch level still old 2015-11-1 or something like that not 2016 which we got when we purchase brand new phone. I will try to flash firmware but don't know the exact procedure please let me know if you know that thoroughly.
And one thing I want to mentione over here that a brand new YU yunique plus has ENHANCE 4G LTE option but after rooting my phone its vanished. I thought there is no need of it but now I m unable to make calls???????
Also as I mentioned above the security patch level also degraded??
And VIDEO calling option also Vanished not able to do video calls. CAN we revert all the changes and get everything back like before.

Don't panic.
1. Install the firmware

2. Unlock the bootloader from developer options
3. Install TWRP https://dl.twrp.me/jalebi/
4. Install Volte Modem patch by StaticBlaze thru TWRP https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457084094631641756
5. Finally Take your ROM Backup

Same chinese problem
I found that's an engineer mode, to test the mobile. Yes the link is volte supported, I'm using it. The problem is Validus OS Rom may not have Volte Support too. It may be compiled from old cyanogen builds. The only way to restore is use the stock firmware and move to lollipop.

DL Mode should be 'Emergency download'
I also faced those errors. Just skip them. If you set your USB Port., Make the fastboot into download mode by pressing Vol Up + Power + Vol Down., then 'yes'. Now 'start all'

But I already tried it but ending up with the same error but never clicked on set all Should i Click on it. ???
Now in the guide every thing is happening in power ON mode should I do all the things in Power On mode Or Power Off mode??? Is there any need to enable USB debugging or can perform with out it.??

Switch to any other VoLTE enabled N ROM. Install the VoLTE Modem, caesium or phantom kernel, that's it.

I dont have yuphoria right now but hard bricked it...and the cost for reviving it around 4k according to service centre...so i bought RN4 2mnths ago...but i always believe on some devs who can keep alive yu phones...pawan is one of them...grat work buddy.keep it up.

Your phone is hard bricked by updating miui through updater app. Search on Google how to recover hard bricked Yuphoria through SD card method.

Yea I searched in Google bro, but I can't files related to Yuphoria stock android version. Is there any other way than using memory card? I'm reading on QFIL tool, is this possible to flash using this tool for Yuphoria? I read this method with yureka. Please assist.

Make a back-up. Backup > Check System, Boot, and Data. ( This is important. If you don't like the ROM, you can switch back to your old system using this back-up )
P.S: If your BACK-UP is KitKat based, you can switch back right away. However, if your BACK-UP is Lollipop based or higher, you will need to install the stock Lollipop ROM first before restoring the back-up or else you will HARD BRICK your phone.
Wipe > Advance Wipe. Check Data, Dalvik, System, and Cache. Swipe to wipe.

To change the device name, follow this guide:
Open ROOT Explorer app ( Pre-installed )
Navigate to System folder
Long tap Build.prop and open with Text Editor
Look for these tags and rename them to Lenovo A6000 or A6000 Plus or to any name you want.

ro.lenovo.series=
ro.product.ota.model=
ro.lenovo.ram= - You can change this to 2GB if you are using A6000+
ro.lenovo.rom= - You can change this to 16GB if you are using A6000+
Note: Do not touch the other lines which are not indicated here.
Press the three dot buttons on the top-right side, Save and Exit.
Reboot your phone.
Renaming in a computer.
If you connect your phone to a computer and named as Lenovo K30-T, you can rename it by changing your USB connection to MTP and then go to My Computer > Right Click your phone and click Rename.
Changing the default minimum CPU Frequency.
The default CPU governor is Interactive with minimum CPU Frequency to 800000. To change the default minimum CPU Frequency, follow this guide
Open ROOT Explorer App.
Browse to System folder.
Open Build.prop via Text Editor.
Find this ro.min_freq=800000 - Change 800000 to 200000 or 400000 or 533333.
Save and Exit.
To prevent apps from running at Startup, follow the guide below.
Open SafeCenter app.
Go to Permissions.
Under Behavior, browse to the bottom and look for Auto-start.
Toggle to allow and reject any app listed.
Note:Make sure you have given Power Manager root access in SuperSU.
Going back to KitKat from Lollipop or higher version of Android
To go back to KitKat from Nougat, Marshmallow, Lollipop or Oreo, you can either use Lenovo Downloader or Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QPST) via computer or you can choose and follow my guide for an easier procedure.

Copy them on your SD Card.
Boot to recovery and flash Stock KitKat BUT don't reboot system after flash.
Install recovery by image. Tap on Install > Install Image and locate the TWRP-2.8.6.1.img and flash it.
After that, go to Reboot > Recovery.
You will now have a new TWRP Recovery. Make a full wipe by following my instructions on the first post and proceed with the installation of the ROM.

In order to install this ROM. You must first install/flash the stock KitKat.
To do that, check the fourth post. I made a guide for you guys.

You do not need to feel sorry. We use our device based on how we want them to. Based on our usage and enjoyment. In my case, KitKat is the best suited version for our device. I can play 3D Games, Social Media, Surf the Web, Play Videos Online without any lag and I can do it 5-8 hours straight on screen.
On top of that, this ROM is modified. You can see the screenshot. It's way better design (UI) from the stock VIBE KitKat.
Otherwise, we have different perspectives and purposes. You can choose your desired ROM in your phone. You can do whatever you want to and use it to however you wanted to.
I am just sharing this ROM to everyone who got the same usage and basis as mine.

What version of recovery are you using? Did you tried flashing QFIL(QPST) or lenovo downloader? Otherwise, in your recovery, go to Mount > Uncheck "System" and flash the stock rom. If you are still having error, let me know.

No. You will hard brick your phone. As what I have said, flash the stock KitKat rom first.
