N920c Keeps rebooting even after WholeFormat/new rom Dr Ketan Rom everything.... - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note5

Hello everyone,
I tried to check in other threads and in forums in general but couldnt find a problem similar to mine , because all of them were fixed by Wiping/Formatting or installing a new Rom.
So the phone was ok stock 7.0 t'ill it started rebooting and stucking sometimes with no way to get out if it,if not resetting to Download mode. I wiped the cach and all and it seemed to work for a feew days, now its every time, i Flashed TWRP as a recovery, Wiped formatted vereything from the phone and did a fresh install o Dr Ketan Rom (even so it wasnt easy due to device random reboots).
Now the issue is still there, what have i missed? Is it a Hardware problem?
Thanks in advance .

You're asking for help in the wrong place.. This thread is for the N920V and not the N920C.. You're better off asking in that thread for help seeing as the N920V doesn't even have TWRP..

It's cool happens a lot.. The problem is us Verizon users don't really have much experience with the TWRP on this device so it's just best to ask where, they've probably had the problem before!! I hope you figure it out bro!

[Q] Nexus GTI9023 issue need help

hi guys,
i have a nexus gt-I9023.
i connected my phone to my laptop to copy some files and something happened and my phone started restarting itself.
i even tried to do a factory reset and it seems to be going through the same issue even after a factory reset.
is this a hardware issue or can i get rid of it by installing a new rom.
also i am a novice users when it comes to resetting roms, would appreciate if someone could give me a step by step instructions on it.
You should try change your kernel.. if you use overclock also, disable it.. changing rom is not bad idea.. making a full wipe might help also not just factory reset..
i am a newbie at this can you please help me do a full wipe .. ?? i am not interested in putting in a new rom .. just want to restore my phone to the factory defaults... i am not that worried about the data ... i have it backed up in my google account.
nexus s same problem
hi,
i am experiencing exactly the same problem on my nexus s, kindly guide me to the full wipe process
i have done a full wipe as well .. using hard reset method ... and still the phone is not working properly ... would appreciate some help here...

I started writing a some posible ways to fix and i realised that if you are pure stock you can go to your carrier and get it fixed.. (they will probably replace the motherboard)
I had a similar problem that started like 1,5 years after i bought the phone. Random restarts when i connected it and problem loading the phone now and then.
I cleaned the usb-port from some dirt and it started working again.
Very strange but it worked for me

YouTube videos & all games auto pausing.

Hey guys,
I would really appreciate your help.
I'm using a HTC Desire 310 dual SIM - rooted but stock Rom.
I started experiencing this problem just today wherein all the games I play and the YouTube videos I watch keep pausing automatically. I have never faced such an issue in the past. Today I factory reset my phone twice and the problem has started since.
Kindly help.
Thanks

If you have the problem with YouTube video , download it and play it ( costs almost same data , but the benefit is you can watch it continuously)
I suggest TubeMate , which can be downloaded from here .
A hard reset can be solve them all...
If you have still the problems, reinstall the existing rom( for your case , the stock one ) or flash a new one .

AlfasMP
Hey bro thanks a lot for your suggestions.
Could you please let me know the difference between hard reset & factory reset..thanks

Before posting please add a quote , then I can get notified easily.
Hard reset and factory resets are same . Hard reset means , it will bring you to the factory version (stock) of your Android ( since , if you installed any custom rom , you cannot go back to stock without reinstalling it ) .

That might be your problem . When updating a rom from one to another , you should need to do a factory reset . You are using note 3 , then why can't you take a backup using samsung kies? ( You said TW above , is that TWRP ? )

It is better to install a custom rom to identify does your stock has any issues.
Take a nandroid backup ( if you get any error or need to go back to system, it's necessary). Then find a non buggy rom from anywhere and install it by wiping all types of datas and caches .
If the problem still exists ,
Take a logcat using ADB , attach it and ask to any one of the well known legends ( developers ) on xda . They can help you to figure out the error .

Thanks a ton for all your help buddy..Cheers!:good:
Hi Guys,
Sorry I have to revive this thread as I'm still looking for help and I can't find a solution to my problem anywhere.
I flashed stock rom for my device from needrom. com and the flash was successful. However, I'm still facing issues with Games and Youtube videos via the app pausing. Now even Videos saved on my phone which I watch via MX player are pausing every 5-10 seconds. The keyboard as well keeps minimizing itself every few seconds while I'm typing.
Do you guys reckon this might be a hardware failure.
I cannot take it back to HTC since the stock rom which I flashed is a different build..i.e for China region.
I could not get stock rom anywhere for HTC desire 310 dual sim bought from India.
Also, I forgot to mention that I had my motherboard replaced a couple of months ago after I had hard bricked my phone. Could that be the issue?
If someone can help I'm attaching my device's logcat.
I hope I have done it right. I'm a bit of a noob.
Thanks.
Anyone?
Need your help folks.
Of course, the way is a clean install but not the problem

Thanks a lot for your suggestion buddy. At the moment I am not facing this problem because I reflashed stock rom.I was running quite a few xposed modules, and I don't know if those were causing the problems.I have not installed xposed framework since reflashing stock rom, and I think that solved the issue. Anyways, I will remember your suggestion if I encounter this problem in the future. Thanks

Same problem here. Found any solution ?
same here... mine reboots itself randomly since 3-4 days, i tryied flashing another roms using twrp and miflash with fastboot, removing sim card, airplane mode... and still rebooting
Anyone solved this? or any idea?
I think it's a problem with Deep Sleep. Try seeing through something like Kernel Aduitor if your phones can enter deep sleep.
it's working with the code : *#*#995995#*#*

Echoe Rom Calling Issue

Hello all. Since this is a new account I guess I cannot post under the development page. So my question is this (sorry if this has been asked before I search as much as I could). I installed this Echoe Rom about four days ago and works great but when someone tries to call me I recieve nothing, sometimes a Voice-mail but doesn't ring or get a notification. Rebooted and no go. I thought it was an issue with the cache/Davilk so I wiped and rebooted but still nothing. So I researched and some android users (pm another site) said you have to switch between Auto/LTE/4g and 3g/2g and back again....finally worked. But every time it reboots I have to do this and it's rather annoying because I get a random reboot everyday. If anyone knows a work around for this would greatly appreciate it because after a day of trying to fix it I'm stumped lol. Thx

I has this issue ... what fixed it for me was just making a backup with TitaniumBackup and doing a clean install of stock firmware, re-rooting and and flashing the rom and then wiping data in the Aroma installer... doing this gave me zero issues .

Do you have Lspeed installed by any chance? If so do you have improve call quality enabled? Disabling this fixed the issue for me so anyone who has this problem and enabled it, disable it and see if it fixes the problem.

[Completed] LineageOS 14.1 APN issue SM-G900V

SM-G900V (PB1) KLTE, Samsung eMMC (CID 15)
When I first was able to install Lineage everything seem to work fine. But when I woke up the next morning I had a notification saying SIM card not found. So I went to go to cellular networks to check the APN and when I clicked it I recieved an error com.android.phone error. Would you like to restart or mute. Neither option worked. So I reflashed the os and still had the same issue. With TWRP I reformatted and wiped all data and tried for a fresh install. Nothing worked. Was wondering if anyone knows of anything. If you took the time to read this I thank you for your interest.

Thank you for replying. I seem to have fixed the issue. So I flashed the phone back to factory and rerooted and reflashed rom and it seemed to fix the issue. Not sure I understand how. This time I did wait for a little bit after rom booted and it seemed to eventually work.
