I bought an S8+ on Amazon and found out it's the SM-955F version. Is there is someway to get Samsung pay to work on this version? Thanks in advanced!
I think it depends on location and possibly the CSC. Mine works (same model) I'm in the UK.

I have the AT&T version which is locked but I want to get an unlocked version of the GS6. Which one is the best to get? International? T-Mobile? I want the one that has the most support on the development side.
I think the G920F (s6Flat) or G925F (s6Edge) would be the best, because I've seen some kernels just for the international variant and no other. Plus, it's compatible with all if not, most roms. made for the S6. It' s (I think) the cheapest too. Although, I'm not too sure about network bands and compatibility with AT&T.
I have a g-925f, the edge unlocked. Works great on AT&T. Just keep in mind that you aren't going to get samsung pay on an international unlocked model. Learned that the hard way.

I don't care about Samsung pay. I will get the regular 920F since it's got the most support.

If I'm right, most G920F roms, kernels, and recovery's should work the the G925F. So both have equal support.
Or should I get the nexus 6p?
I bought the S6 from B and H Photo online store. The phone is carrier and region unlocked which means it will work anywhere in the world. It came with no bloat except ANT radio which I disabled. It's a G920i from Australia and came with Australian wall charger but I called the store and they sent me a US travel charger for free. B and H is good for customer satisfaction.
I bought my Gear S3 on ebay from Korea, so far everything is working well. I was in Saudi Arabia all this time where Samsung Pay isn't available so I couldn't try it.
Now I came back to India where Samsung Pay is available but still I'm not able to use it.
I get error shown in attached screenshot, when installing pay plug-in in my OnePlus one.
P. S.: I'm using Indian sim.
Any help is appreciated.
I bought an unlocked S7 SM-G930W8 model off ebay then realized that its Samsung Pay is different with the same app in US model. It has no stores, deals to take advantage of Samsung pay promotions. Also I didn't see anywhere to earn points. I uninstalled and reinstalled from Galaxy app but still the same.
The phone is from Telus and updated to latest version (still Android 7). I wonder is it possible to put the US Samsung Pay on this phone? Thanks for help.
So there's discussion that if we purchase an International Note 10 or Note 10+ from ebay, we may not be able to use Samsung Pay in the United States. The reason being, the Note will be preloaded with Pay App that's from that region. Had anyone been able to uninstall the pre-installed app and reload the app via apkmirror to get Samsung Pay to work in the US?
Saw a post on the s8 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/how-add-samsung-pay-to-sm-g950fd-dual-t3600699) which talked about this exact problem. Not sure if it's the same here and if anyone got to work around the region problem. Not talking about U firmware.
Just got my Note 10+ dual sim from Ebay N9750 (HK) version and Samsung Pay worked out the box in South Africa. However the adverts and loyalty program is specific for HK.
Hi,
Is the HK version Samsung pay really locked to HK only? Wondamobile says Samsung pay will only work in HK.
Is this true? Is there no way around it?
Is MSRP on eBay also selling the HK version?
What about the Taiwan version SM-S9080DRGBRI? Is Samsung pay on that locked to Taiwan only?
No one is using S9080 and Samsung pay?

Samsung pay works in the US on my SM-G9980 Hong Kong variant. I have confirmed MSRP's SM-9080 is TGY CSC.

Did wondamobile state Samsung pay wouldn't work outside HK on your SM-G9980 at the time?
Has MSRP said Samsung pay won't work on theirs?

I purchased it from Never-MSRP, they had no input in that regard. Originally Samsung Pay on the Hong Kong variant wasn't compatible but it's been updated to function outside of Hong Kong. I would suggest uninstalling the app which comes on the S22 and install the current version on Playstore. Google Pay is another option you might consider.
