[Q] no sounds, no vibration after removing casing

hi, looking for a bit of advice please.
my speakers and microphone were sounding very muffled so i decided to take my phone appart to clean out all the lint and dust that had built up over the past year.
the only problem is that now that i put it back together i have no sounds what so ever. also no vibrate
i have checked in settings etc. to see that all my notifications are on. (they are the same as before i removed the cover).
the only other piece of advice is to say that the volume button on the left hand side also raises no respone from the phone when pressed. it fell out when i pulled it appart but i think i put it back together correctly. it depresses both up and down but nothing happens on the screen
apart from sound and vibration phone works great!
any ideas.... cause otherwise i have just stuffed a perfectly good working phone!!

I can't tell if you're trolling or not...
Yeah he's being a ****. I solved this problem by lining the sides and bottom of the back cover with some scotch tape. Make sure to avoid the gold contacts on the bottom.
I put atiny bit of WD40 on a cotton bud on the latch for the back door, and it stopped imediately. I did have some creaking when pressing on the touchscreen, but thats gone too.
Must have broken it in.
I had initially no creaking noise but it has started after 6 weeks of use. And it is really bad. The upper right corner of the screen started to move slightly when being pressed, causing a creaking noise when doing it.
What I did was to put some thick scotch tape between the screen part and the back part which caused the creaking noise to cease.
Has anyone else experienced this? Would you recommend to send for warranty repair?

Vibration and rattleing sound?

Didnt notice it before (only after i played around with the camera manual tapping to focus) but on home screen while tapping on the back and home buttons it causes an vibration. but just now notice that along with the vibration there is a slight "rattling sound" (maybe a lose part, maybe in camera?)
shaking the tablet doesnt affecting the rattling
so far only pressing home and back button causes the rattling.
Does anyone have similar issues?
Any Feedback?
UPDATE: its not the camera, when listening closer i narrow the rattling sound to the top right corner of the tablet. maybe its the vibration motor?
Uh... contents may have shifted during shipping?
You going to return it for a new one or try more extensive tests, like adding feedback to on-screen keyboard presses?

tried the keyboard method and yes its still there...
damn and BB doesnt have any in stock near by...gotta wait for shipping =[
Edit: Read your OP too fast and now realized you said only when it vibrates. Sorry! Guess RMA is the only way to go for something like that.
I've noticed that the volume rocker on the top right rattles when I shake my tablet. Hold the volume rocker lightly and shake it again and you probably won't here any rattling. I thought something was loose internally as well but it simply is the rocker. I don't feel this is a defect but simply a poor design on Asus's part. Hope this helps!

[Q] Screen makes clicking noise when pressed harder

hello,
I just bought my nexus 5 about 2 weeks ago and now I seem to have a hardware screen issue with it, about 4-5 days ago I noticed that when I pressed a bit harder on the middle right portion of the screen it makes a weird clicking noise like it is not glued properly to the body frame anymore and sticks a little when I press on it but then pops up again.
I have never dropped the phone and I was wondering if anybody else had this issue, and if yes is there a quick way to fix it or should I try going back to the store and get a replacement phone ?
thank you in advance

[Q] Screen white, colors inverted after disassembling phone

Hello!
I opened my phone and removed the screen so I could replace the loudspeaker.
After I put the phone back togheter, the screen was like in the photo.
It is really weird.
The more time I wait to turn the screen back on, the more the colors start to look normal, but as soon as I turn the screen on, it starts to get brighter and brighter untill it is almost completely white.
I tried using the revert colors setting, didn't work.
Any thoughts?
Is it the screen or maybe the motherboard cable?
Here is a video of what is happening:

The screen is not the original, but it was working fine before I opened the phone a second time.
Thank you.
It has something about magnet on loudspeaker..
Magnet is too strong and it drains your color of screen.
I had this problem on my Pc when I puted my new subwoofer next to my monitor, and color run out, when I moved speaker it's normal.
Try to take that speaker out and test then.

I tried that, it didn't work.
Maybe it really was the loudspeaker but the damage was permanent...
After reading your reply I did notice that the magnet on the replacement speaker was stronger than the original one (some metal things stuck to it).
I had to replace the speaker because after I replaced the screen, the sound was really low and had bad quality, I think the loudspeaker got damaged in the same fall that cracked my screen.

Had a similar problem when I gave my shattered LG G2 for screen replacement at Gopher Mods, the guy who was manager cum only worker, did not know what he was doing and had to replace my screen thrice for similar problems. The ribbon cable connecting the LCD to the main board can be very sensitive. On my third replacement after a full refund I simply popped the LCD out a little and it solved my problem. So either the LCD connector is loose, too tight or its damaged......
